My dog is freshly cleaned and he came back after only 2 hours and smelled like pee and shit! The area they keep the dogs is filthy- dogs who clearly aren't trained just shit and piss everywhere This was absolutely the worst place I could have taken him. The folks at Paws and Relax came over to meet the pets and discuss best option for both of them. We got text pics daily of our cats while away, with fun updates about how they were doing. I've been using them on and off for over two years for daytime walks for my 2 dogs and feeding and care for my two cats when we are away but decided to go for the in home pet sitting for 7 nights instead of boarding my dogs. It was a great experience. Ron is so caring. He sent a very detailed text each evening with pics of my dogs relaxing with him. He brought in all the mail, washed up the dishes from the cat food and left my apt spotless --even vacuumed! It was a stress free vacation knowing he was staying overnight with the dogs and stopping in once during the day. It was about the same cost as boarding two dogs and having a pet sitter come in to take care of the cats. I highly recommend these guys. They've been in business a long time.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Wag-A-Lot Downtown. I received a phone call…read moretoday informing me that my dog has apparently had ongoing issues with rough play with other dogs -- something I was never told before. The only communication I ever received was that he had been moved up to the large yard, and it was presented as a positive/congratulatory thing, not as a behavioral concern. During the call, I was also told that my dog is often kept in the den for much of the day and mainly gets time out with staff members because he seems stressed in the den. As a pet owner, it was upsetting to learn this had apparently been happening for some time without my knowledge or consent. I completely understand that not every daycare environment is the right fit for every dog, and I appreciate them trying to manage situations safely. My issue is the lack of transparency and communication. If my dog was struggling socially or spending significant time separated from group play, I should have been informed immediately and consistently. Because of this experience, I'll be looking for another daycare that communicates more openly with pet parents.

This is also his started place for his pupcations when we travel. I love that he always looks forward to his visits and generally seem happy to be here when he arrives. The lobby is full with the cutest of doggie treats. I also love that if you wanted to you can bathe your dog here for a small fee. We are fortunate to have Courtney as Chet's personal groomer. I can't celebrate her enough. Chet gets the most compliments on his cut and I swear he walks taller and prouder when he's freshly groomed in a new bandanna. Great location. But can be traffic. Great early morning hours. These are dog people! Also there are cameras for me to check on Chet from my phone.

And realized I owe this fantastic person a review. A very long story short, in 2015 I found myself in temporary housing after a move back to Atlanta to start a new job. It was a very difficult situation with two rescue dogs that suffered from anxiety/separation issues. The day prior my daytime pet arrangements had fallen through. I also had work travel imminent. I was in a panic and massively stressed. The same day I called Karen, she showed up to meet me and the two pups. They took to her immediately, even my ultra scared/shy guy who shivered and shook around people. She confidentially handled them, kindly calmed my anxiety over the situation and had it under control. She could double as a therapist!!! The next day while I was at work all went totally fine with their walk. I even received text photos with details of how it went. The pups were happy, I was relieved of stress and life suddenly became simpler. For simplicity sake I've glossed over a very trying and rough time in life. But for Karen and her team it would not have turned out so well. With a world of gratitude and thanks, I HIGHLY recommend.
