Anna is an amazing trainer. She understands the psychology of the dogs and their "humans." We highly recommend her!

Highly suggested for any dog owner. I have two English Bulldogs (7 months and 3 years) both had…read morevery different needs. I was nervous about having to train two dogs with different needs, and at different life stages. Cody was amazing. He took the time to understand the different need for both dogs and made improvements that day. Chunk was awful on the leash and would chase anything that moved. Day 2 and I can't believe the difference in control on the walks. Charlie is a puppy and well needs obedience with several indoor behaviors. Happy to say today was successful in going to his bed. The investment in Bark Busters is well worth it for any dog owner. If you're in the Atlanta area Cody is the trainer I recommend. Beyond being great with the dogs he makes you as the owner feel comfortable. He gives you the right techniques and confidence that change and obedience is possible. Cody's open and makes it clear that he is available from here on out if there is anything that I need. Was very nervous about having someone in my home and training my dogs. This was the best decision I could make for me and the boys!

I hired Mike, ( paid for a lifetime guarantee $1,500) the dog trainer from Bark…read moreBuster to train my dogs to stop barking at the windows and rushing the front door at visitors. His training was fear based and did not help with either problem. A year later my large dog started attacking my smaller dog. Reached out to Mike, He came by and had me buy a muzzle from him and told me to keep it on her. No plan other than that. We had a facetime call a week later. Still no plan. A week later when muzzle was removed, she attacked my smaller dog and seriously injured him. Tried to contact Mike and he ghosted me stating he didn't know me. I had to put my large dog down and the injuries to my small dog was over $3,000. I contacted the Bark Buster's corporate office and they responded with an apology. I asked for a refund since I felt like the training was an epic fail. I used all of their ridiculous BAH... techniques and it was a bust. They also ghosted me.....DO NOT USE THEM! There is no lifetime service or anything else.

I was very excited when I first met with my trainer. Unfortunately, tools are not something that I…read moredid not necessarily want to use. I, myself, a novice, not a trainer, had been using a prong collar. I was jarred when she used the prong to correct my 10 month old puppy, and said he was in shock because she kept snapping the leash. That was a bit too much for me. However, when I asked the trainer what method they used, and I was told the LIMA method. I was confused as to why corrections with tools were being used. After reaching out to a few trainers, this is what I have found about the LIMA METHOD; There are technically 2 views on what this term means. The original definition has a hierarchy of things that must be done before going to usage of tools of discomfort such as prong collars and the like. The newer more common conversation has left the hierarchy behind and does not allow for use of such tools at all. So I was definitely not understanding why the trainer seem led to be using the prong as a crutch to train. I was only using it for walking, and eventually would have liked to not use a prong collar at all. The trainer was definitely professional, but using tools to walk, place, sit, basically give any command was not something I was interested in. At one point when she kept snapping the leash on my youngest puppy, teaching him place I expressed that I had taught my other puppy how to be in place without doing that. My hope was that they would see if I can do it without snapping, a leash and a prong collar on the dog that they can do it too but the same behavior kept happening. I also let the trainer know that my other pup would bite if you tried to take food away that he found on the street, but we were not using that scenario at all when training. Since I am not a trainer, I can only go by what other trainers have told me. They have told me that unless I have aggressive dogs that are biting or trying to hurt others that prong collars are really an antiquated tool as is the e collar. Definitely no hard feelings. Just not the training method for me.

You know those people who ran out and got dogs during COVID because they were working from home and…read morecould spend so much time with them? Yeah, we got two of them. First a puppy, and then when he was 9 months old a second rescue dog who was about 2.5. We had (naïve) dreams of the dogs cuddling for naps and playing quietly together out back as we WFH. The reality was far more frightening. The two dogs fought (and by this, I mean actual angry dog fights, it was scary) if a new toy was introduced, if food was accidentally dropped or if we would pet one but not the other. They barked incessantly at every delivery person, runner/walker, dog and cat on our street. We were at our wits end with 3 young kids and two dogs that were out of control. That's when I reached out to Shavon (goes by "Blue"). After reading other reviews, I decided if he couldn't help us, no one could. He changed it all. He recommended an 8-week at-home training. Plus, he took our 2.5 year old dog for a more intense 10-day training at his house, but brought her back periodically to continue to train the two dogs together. The dogs transformed. Actually, Blue transformed my husband and I as we were the real issue. His experience as a trainer was on full display and through his guidance we learned essential new skills including how to properly walk dogs, give authoritative commands, correct them when they pull, bark or growl and generally take control of our pups. We learned to read their body language and cues to avert aggression before it happens. Blue showed us how to set limits and boundaries so the dogs fit into our life, rather than letting our life revolve around the dogs. We completed all our training and are amazed at the results. We now have two well behaved dogs that listen, obey and quietly co-exist as we WFH. If you want the best results, training with Blue is certainly an investment of your time, patience, ego and money but it is well worth it to have dogs who make life joyful and fun (not stressful and chatoic). We hope to have these pups for the next 12+ years and believe the effort and money we spent on training will serve us well for years to come. Call Blue today, you won't regret it!!!

In September of 2020, I lost my super sweet Suzie to bone cancer. I was devastated. I kept asking…read moreto adopt a dog, however my husband always answered with a no. Then in May of 2021, he relented, and we began the hunt for a dog. We found Maggie in the animal shelter. She and her sister were COVID puppies who had been surrendered. We were told Maggie didn't get along with other dogs, had heart worms, aggressive towards people, and food aggressive, but I loved her at first sight, and I adopted believing I could change her. We worked out the food aggression and got her use to being around our dogs. The heart worm treatment was successful. Maggie and I were meant for each other, but.... Maggie was aggressive towards other people, animals, and sometimes our other dogs. She would go after my son-in-law whenever he came to town, and as much as I love dogs, people always come first. Dog trainers said I needed someone that dealt with fear aggressive dogs. That when I was referred to Lorenzo's Dog Training. Blue became our trainer. It was hard letting Maggie leave home for a month because she is my support for my PTSD and helps calms me down. However, I saw Maggie transform each week. She became even more loving as she became less afraid and trusted us to keep her safe. Blue was working magic with her. As he trained us to work with her, I was able to walk with her an not worry about falling over. Maggie stopped barking at every noise. She is much calmer and follows commands most times (we are still in at home training, but will get there). Blue is an amazing trainer, and I feel blessed that he came into Maggie's and my life. I saved her life, she saved mine, and Blue has saved us both. Thank you Blue!
