I wanted to have an extension on a garden faucet installed. A simple job. Lefty's sent out two people who gave me a $700 dollar estimate that included two plumbers' time (!) to simply extend one pipe about five feet. I tried calling them and the receptionist assured me that they'd get back to me. They didn't. I called again, twice. Again, the receptionist assured me they'd be in touch. I waited. Nothing. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend attempting to use Lefty's services. read more

Worst plumbing service I have yet to come across in my adult life. Either the receptionist is completely incapable of scheduling or they have poor communication amongst their team. I had a pretty gross sewer issue this morning and made an appointment for 12:30 and returned to work. She calls back and says that the time wont work, so she says 2:00, and then 1:30. She calls me at 1:00, to tell me they wont make it at all that day. Completely unreliable! I do NOT recommend anyone using Lefty's. So unprofessional. read more

I needed to have my whole house water pipes replaced and got quotes ranging from about 11700 to 8200.( this was due to cpvc being put in the house over 25 years ago and it was very brittle) Lefty's was the cheapest of the 3 quotes I got. They arrived on time and started doing the work. They caused a leak in the master bathroom as they were trying to be nice by not turning off the water till the last minute. I decided to remove subfloor on top of the subfloor(2 subfloor) in master bath and had to remove some of the carpeting in the master bedroom. Decided I would remodel at this time as I had everything torn apart anyway. Lefty's told me not to worry about making any payments till I was done doing the work. In the end it has taken me 6 months to do the remodel myself saving me lots of money. When I finally asked about settling the bill Lefty's told me that my bill was zero and we were good. I would use them again as they have always showed up on time and done a good job. Sure they caused a leak but in the end I don't think they will make that mistake again and they are reasonable. I will use them again if I need any plumbing work done. read more

One Sunday morning, my water heater started leaking and I could not stop it. I called Mike at Lefty's, and Brandon showed up, immediately. Brandon was able to empty the tank and stop it from leaking more water. He and I discussed the pros and cons of a new tankless water heater, thus the reason for the delay in ordering and replacing it. Brandon listened to my opinion, and was able to accommodate my request and got me a top of the line water heater. A couple of days later, my water heater was replaced with a brand new one. He did a wonderful professional job installing and connecting it. I am extremely happy with the end result. I trust Lefty's and highly recommend them to anyone. Fine keeping appointments and doing the work. However, the water didn't work and found a valve was not turned on during the final work. Then the faucet control was totally inappropriate for a 90 year old. We called four times to get a resolution, kept being told "waiting for part number". For a week and a half. Would not recommend. They never got the part number and my mother is now both scaled and frozen in the shower. NOT GOOD WORK. read more

I called 3 plumbers re putting in two new toilets. Lefty's were the best to talk to so I said yes. Lucky me! Not only did Mike from Lefty's come and install the new toilets that same week, he also did a really great installation job, took away the old toilets, and cleaned up everything. I waited a few months before writing this review to see how the new toilets worked, and so far they have been great. No clogs or overflows, which become a weekly thing with the old toilets. The toilets flush really well and fast, they're water efficient, and always flush everything down. We are now able to flush at least three times more than before, after every single use, with no issues. Just got my water/sewage bill and it's still the same, it hasn't even gone up at all! And the best thing ~ the new toilets are slightly higher than our old toilets but so much easier and more comfortable to sit on. And not only were Mike and Lefty's great, they were by far the most affordable and accommodating plumbing company, plus they didn't try to sell me extra stuff (two of the other companies were talking about how they could sell me new faucets etc. whereas Mike gave me this goo to shine my current faucets, and now they all look like new!). I highly recommend Lefty's and will definitely call them again for any plumbing work. read more

My husband and I purchased a small apartment complex in West Salem in January of 2016. Almost immediately we had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday evening and called a well-known national company. They came out and did a fairly decent job. Their service tech, however, highly recommended Lefty's Plumbing, Inc., for any ongoing issues. Due to the age of the apartments (40 plus years) we knew we desperately needed a good, trustworthy plumber. The owner, Mike came out and met with us. We went through each apartment and listed all current issues then set out a priority list. Since then we've had Mike and his team, Kevin and Brandon replace 3 complete bathrooms. They've changed out 2 hot water heaters. They've fixed numerous kitchen clogs and have educated our tenants on what not to do going forward. Our plumbing issues are quickly becoming non-existent.. They are prompt, show up when they said they would and are always on time. We've never had an issue with them "fitting" us in. Their work is second to none. There are NO shortcuts with these guys, if you want a "patch" job, don't call them because their integrity depends on their work. They are like family now. Our tenants even love them.
