Kathy was not our first choice when I was setting up our cruise trip from Barcelona to stops in France and Italy however, once I spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with her, I realized she had a firm grip on our proposed itinerary as she had also traveled on this same cruise. Absolutely terrible!! My fiancee and I had paid for upgraded seats on the plane, and without being notified, we were downgraded, and we were separated. Luckily, we checked two days before our flight and discovered what had happened. We contacted Kathi, and she was no help at all. The airline was able to put us together, but we lost the upgraded seating. The airline said LEG travel had changed our seating and gave us the exact time our seats had been changed. Kathi claimed she had also put me on the transportation list to and from the airport, which was paid for. When I arrived, I was not on the shuttle list to or from the airport. I had to pay out of pocket for a taxi. It's the travel agents' job to keep track of things and make sure things go smoothly, and things definitely did not go smoothly. I first contacted kathi to book my honeymoon as my original honeymoon cruise was cancelled. Been working with her for the details out and very happy with what itinerary we came up with. So that's that. I'm in a Facebook cruise group and meet a helpful lady who then tells me she is a travel agent so I said hey my MIL just told me she wants to book this Alaska cruise . Can you help. She gives me quotes and I send them to my MIL as she is the one paying for it. That's that. I then think oh well shoot I'm already booking my honeymoon with kathi why didn't I just ask her. So I did. I then had a 3 way communication with her and my MIL. We were happy with what was quoted so my MIL was waiting to hear back from more family to make sure all the pricing and things were good. Having every intention of booking the cruise with LEG Travel. Mind you... haven't spoken to this other agent I met in a Facebook group since kathi sent the itinerary. My MIL let kathi know tonight that she will get the cruise through her daughter who is a flight attendant and gets good prices that we will book the cruise through her but that our flights and hotel will be through kathi. Mind you.. in the beginning kathi told us she would be happy to book flights and hotels for us. So didn't see the problem. Then once my MIL tells kathi that , kathi responds just have your daughter take care of the flights and hotel and that she doesn't work for free. We understand that but in the beginning you told us it's ok we book the cruise with the daughter and only do flights and hotel with you. So not sure why the issue. She then brings up that I was talking to another agent and I let her know yes I don't know how all this works and I met her in a random cruise Facebook group and she was helpful but after you sent the itinerary I stopped talking to her so I'm not sure the issue. Literally the same minute kathi sends that message about the other agent that other agent messages me and says "hi bryana are you ready to book". Like really?? How petty . Again, I haven't spoken to the other agent since kathi sent the itinerary. I voiced these words to kathi and she apologized and said she would love to give me the best honeymoon and family cruise . I have a bit of a sour taste in my mouth over this drama I'm having for important trips so I don't respond right away to think about what the hell just happened . I go to respond and now kathi has blocked me. So now I guess she's lost two trips that were going to be booked with her. Mind you... for my honeymoon it was already booked before kathi. Cruise was cancelled so I was having kathi re do everything for me. She mentioned if I don't stay at a Hilton hotel she won't get paid. We already had our flights and rooms booked as well. So kathi wasn't doing that as we did it. Well I cancelled my hotel room we booked to have kathi rebook it under her so she could get credit for it. Just wow. read more

After my first couple experiences working with other local agents I was unimpressed due to lack of timeliness in response, accessibility, and horrible organization, and this was before Covid was even a barrier.....so I didn't have much hope when I started looking for a new agent. Let me start by saying that at times I travel up to a third of the year for business and often find myself in third world countries where just about anything you could imagine could go wrong will go wrong. I have done most of my own bookings for years and carried the stress of planning and implementing my travels by myself. But after my wonderful trip with LEG Travel, never again! After spending the majority of a year stuck in the house due to Covid, I needed to get away, and being that we live in the Pacific Northwest I also needed sunshine. So those were the criteria I gave Kathleen. She got back to me quickly with a few locations we could travel to during the time of Covid, with Pro's and Con's for each and details about the precautions each were taking due to the pandemic. Her pricing was cheaper than I could find online or direct with the resort, and the added upgrades she included made booking this trip a no brainer. She provided step by step directions for each leg of our travels and they took care of everything including hotel transfers, excursions, airfare and lodging. I for the first time that I can remember was able actually enjoy a vacation and not worry about the details the entire time. She also was able to change our flights and hotel multiple times as our trip approached due to changes that came up last minute due to covid.
