While visiting Trolley Square today, we stumbled across this store- the Mecca of bath bombs. Yes, they carry the ones we know and love, but they also had additional varieties that I had not previously seen. There was a nice young man watching over the store and offering assistance. Colors and designs are bold, but not loud or outrageous. Fragrances are wonderful, not artificial, and made with essential oils. Everything feels fun, yet grown up. They are particularly known for their Apocalypse bomb, which turns your bathwater BLACK, and looks pretty freaking BA (impressive, given we're describing a bath). You can find their products at local area groceries and other stores, but the actual shop is worth seeking out as it offers everything they make, and it is so much fun packing a custom tube or putting together a gift box. Last weekend, I stopped by Trolley Square for Normal ice cream (get some!), and while there, saw Cosset was having an anniversary sale. The deal that most caught my eye were prepacked tubes of "misfits" (a much cuter name for seconds), priced at $8.00. I thought I'd smell all the bath bombs to pick my favorites and hopefully find a tube that contained a majority of them, but quickly found that every single one smelled amazing, and I loved them all! Goods are produced here in Salt Lake, and I believe they use salt from our very namesake lake! Prices are reasonable, and the employees at the shop have always been helpful and lovely as can be. Also of note, as I was checking out, one of them explained that the newer versions of their bath bombs contain additional beneficial ingredients like Himalayan sea salt and (in the case of the Let it Go therapy ball) tourmaline crystal powder. What?! Call me basic, but you can bet I want to bathe in gemstones like a true princess.
