I personally had used another well respected surgeon previously with poor results and Dr. Grunch was able to get me back to a pain free life. Also, my wife had had a fall and completely wrecked her neck and upper spine. She also had a poor outcome with a previous Surgeon and decided to enlist Dr. Grunch for help. She was able to, after a seven hour surgery, stabilize my wife's neck and get her out of most pain and give her her life back. If you need a doctor with Dr. Grunch's skills, I don't think you can find anyone and better in the Southeast. She is very caring and concerned about her patience's and the outcome. Also our experience with her staff was always exceptional. Very caring and professional.

Dr. Grunch was chosen because she was the only one who'd suggested a disc replacement surgery wasn't just possible but was the best option based on age and quality of life factors. She was attentive and thorough. Following the procedure Dr. Grunch came into recovery to speak with us. She stated that based on what she found while doing surgery, and was not obvious in the MRI and x-rays, she could easily have gone the disc fusion path, however she kept in mind our discussions, consultations, and the desired quality of life which disc replacement provides better opportunity for better results. Because of this Dr. Grunch took the extra time and effort to stay the course and perform the Disc Replacement surgery. I've no doubt my family member, now 2 weeks post-op and doing quite well, will be much better off as a result. Dr. Grunch is an excellent surgeon and anyone needing back or neck surgery would be wise to make an appointment with her. It took a long time for us to get into see her however it was worth the wait. As an FYI, the two other surgeons we'd seen both recommended fusion and stated disc replacement was not an option...when apparently not only was it an option, but the best path. Dr. Grunch must be an amazing surgeon because there were little to no pain issues whatsoever and zero mechanical issues within days of the surgery. We're very happy we listened to our friend who'd recommended Dr. Grunch!

I felt adequately cared for and ready for surgery. While under, my family was grateful for the patient status boards in the waiting area so they could know my progress. I was admitted after, spent one night here. The food was actually decent, and all my nurses were great. Discharge was painless. If you have to have surgery here, it's one of the better places in the ATL metro, as I've had surgery at 5-6 hospitals now so have a good idea of what the hospitals have to offer. Also, every area i was in seemed clean, which is imperative for a place like this.

I almost started crying when I saw him enter my room. I'm so elated!!! I've been walking without my walker every hour, practiced on the stairs plenty times in the rehab room, talked to some ppl at the desk for a sec, etc, all within a couple of hours..... I will take it slow at home and abide by all my discharge information, nevertheless. I waited approx 6 yrs for this surgery however was talked out of it many times. I felt stupid for waiting so long! It's solidified that everything is on GOD'S timing, especially, having Dr Goh as my doc. God is real ppl follow HIM as much as you can!! All the doctors/nurses/ staff are extremely sweet and considerable! The food is delish. GREAT place for surgeries.

The week prior, I received a call about a possible appointment rescheduling. However, the caller ID/name showed "Motion Rehabilitation," which I didn't recognize. The following week, I then received confirmation messages from both AICA and Motion Rehabilitation for the same appointment day, so I assumed everything was still scheduled correctly. When I arrived today, I was asked to complete paperwork, which I did. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I was finally told that the provider was not in and that they had supposedly called the previous week to reschedule. I do not understand why I was allowed to sit there that long before anyone informed me of the issue. They could have easily called again anytime between last week and today to prevent me from wasting time, gas, and getting stuck in 5:00 traffic on the way home. This experience was very frustrating and disappointing compared to my previous experiences with AICA.

Would've been nice to consider that 4 weeks ago when you originally scheduled me, prior to me arranging my holiday schedule to accommodate said consult. I had previously experienced issues with the surgical center not calling me back, so this was the cherry on top for me to explore other providers. I will not allow an overpaid physician the opportunity to capitalize off of my pain and suffering if they cannot even prioritize me over their holiday plans which should have been placed on their calendar prior to scheduling patients this week. Definitely won't be cutting on me if you can't even handle scheduling appointments correctly. Despite being in massive amounts of pain, I would rather delay treatment further by starting over with a now and hopefully more practice than trust these people.

I will start seeing Dr. Ellis soon. I hope he can bring relief to my neck and head pain. My husband and I are a little put off by his salesy demeanor but I'm willing to look past that for relief! Also some new admin still have some learning to do - hopeful that it will become a little more seamless as they learn how the doctors / plans work.

Dr. Ellis has an incredible track record fixing all kinds of physiological and neurological issues…read more As a former college tennis player, I had gotten accustomed to sprains and strains being things you rest, ice, and let your body heal naturally. When I strained my knee last fall season, I didn't want to sit out for weeks on end letting my body take its time. A coach and friend referred me to Dr. Ellis and said he may be able to fix me and accelerate the healing. I saw him for 45 minutes for an evaluation and therapy. He identified the spot that needed treatment and did some intricate work maneuvering fascial adhesions, and within a few days I was walking and playing without a knee brace. I was able to finish the ALTA men's season strong! Next issue I brought him was a chronic SHOULDER injury that limited my ability to serve without nagging rotator cuff pain. 10 years of off and on pain. It would get slightly better with rest, but quickly flare up with any repeat use. No tear or structural damage that shows up on x-rays or MRIs, so no need for surgery or anything like that. Over the course of a few weeks he restored my shoulder (fascial adhesion work in multiple muscle groups around the shoulder) to nearly full functionality, and recommended I do strengthening exercises to maintain and prevent blowing out my shoulder again. I took his advice. And while I have some more strengthening and stabilizing work to get my shoulder to 100%, Dr. Ellis's fixing work has me feeling the best I have in years! I am also playing some of the best tennis I've played in a while, not having to grit my teeth through nagging shoulder, arm, and chest pain that's been around for 10 years. While most chiropractors only learn the spine, etc., Dr. Ellis understands neurology, connective tissue, and the interrelatedness of many other systems that most academic literature do not teach. He has an incredible ability to diagnose based on visual observations, muscle function, and tactile exams. He is truly a master of his craft and way ahead of standard and might I say the "outdated" chiropractic body of knowledge.
