Was referred here by Centennial Baylor Scott & White ER (on Coit and Lebanon) after being diagnosed on March 7th, 2025 with Erythema Ab Igne. I started developing painful pus-filled blisters in the days leading up to my ER visit and ultimately went with the intention of having them drained. I was sent home with bacitracin ointment which I was to apply to the affected areas twice daily. I visited the ER again four days later on March 11th with two new blisters - at which point I was given antibiotics - one 500mg tablet of cephalexin twice daily. That - in conjunction with an antibiotic injection - helped tremendously. Over the next two weeks, I took extreme care and ensured that only mild soap and water was touching my open wounds. Since then, my blisters have healed nicely, but I still felt I needed to follow-up with a dermatologist. This is where Legacy Dermatology, and Sarah Batti in particular, comes in. I absolutely loved her and her approach to patient care. Her knowledge and compassion for the field was clear. She truly engaged and interacted with me, made me feel comfortable, and set my mind, heart, and anxiety at ease. It was my first appointment with a dermatologist, so I did not know what to expect. Being that the offending source was a space heater over a period of about a year and a half, I was petrified and absolutely convinced that I had skin cancer. Thankfully, the discoloration on my posterior left thigh has started to fade. It seriously looked like toasted skin which is essentially what Erythema Ab Igne means in Latin. No more space heaters for me - or any form of artificial heat for that matter. Sarah outlined a future care plan and took pictures at yesterday's visit so she can compare it to my visit (which is scheduled for 3 months out) on June 26th, 2025. In the meantime, she suggested nightly applications of Aquaphor and sunscreen when out in the sun. I've been seeing Dr. Dharamsi for many years and can't say enough about her and her office. In my annual skin check this year, she noticed something I had not had any concerns about and biopsied it. She called me back personally to give me the results. I can't think of another doctor that has made an initial call to me to share test results and that meant so much. Legacy has great doctors, the challenge is the front office. I had 6 month follow up on a proceedure and they canceled without calling or any notification. I drove down to find out they rescheduled me for another day I wasn't available. The excuse was we tried calling? Leave a message? They are an hour to their office, two hour waste of my time. I called to reschedule, they place me on hold and hung up? If wages are based on effort and merit, Legacy may want to rethink their hiring standards. read more

I'm very disappointed that I was misquoted regarding the cost of the service, and I want to express my frustration about the experience. I chose to come in because the person I spoke with over the phone was very kind and helpful, which gave me confidence in scheduling the appointment. I was told that the out-of-pocket cost for mole removal would be $60, which is why I decided to proceed. However, once I arrived, I was informed that mole removal actually costs $150, and that the $60 quote I was given was only for skin tag removal. Had I been given the correct information from the beginning, I never would have made the appointment. The visit itself lasted 10 minutes or less, and I ended up being charged around $100 for nothing. Additionally, I spent 20 minutes driving each way--a 40-minute round trip--only to leave feeling that my time and money were completely wasted. read more

I've been coming here since 2018. I called today to make an appt to have a new growth inspected, but reached AI. I asked to be transferred to a live person and got a voicemail. Left a message. Then I used their messaging system via their website to request a return call. An AI bot returned my call 6 hours later. Left a voicemail (I was in a meeting). I tried texting them through their Klara portal.... got no response. I'm going elsewhere. I hate changing doctors, but I'm going to have to now.... You can't get in touch with the staff. read more

i get my lips done here and every time they are great, no matter the location... mandy from the plano office is an amazing receptionist, she always fits me in last minute and shes the reason i keep coming back. the quality of there products is unmatched and their precision of the lipper is wonderful. the care is good and they actually care about your results long term. i go for acne reasons as well and its always very hands on and consultations. read more

I used to love this practice, but unfortunately my experience getting filler in Prosper has just completely ruined it. I came in back in mid September asking for a bit of filler in my mid face just to add some balance. That was it. The provider ended up saying that doing filler around my eyes would be better. I had no concerns around my eyes, but I trusted what my doctor said. It had been a complete disaster. I look overfilled and puffy, have significant bags under my eyes, dark circles/hollows, bizarre contours, and I look about 10 years older than I did when I went in. Did 1mL each side. Here we are 2 rounds of Hylenex in and it's clear I will need at least 1 more round, but I'm really thinking it'll end up being 2 more. The provider who did the filler apparently doesn't dissolve filler so another doctor has been doing it. He and his staff have been very kind and they have not charged me for these visits or product which is much appreciated. But I am extremely frustrated and upset with this whole thing. Nearly every possible poor outcome seems to be manifesting and the filler itself despite being a small amount doesn't seem to want to break down all the way. It makes me concerned about what plane it was injected into, how much recent training this provider has had on injecting fillers, and how long this is going to take to resolve. Having spoken to other providers at this point (derms and plastic surgeons) and gotten opinions, none of them can understand why it would've been suggested to start with the eye area considering I had no concerns there to start with and had minimal issues to address there. The mid face is always a great starting point per each of their opinions and each also agreed that mid face was an excellent area for me to begin with. Each said you can always work up to the eyes if wanted or needed, but that in my case the mid face (which is what I wanted in the first place) would have been more than adequate. I have appreciated the kindness of the staff at both offices and the provider doing my dissolving, but I am furious with the original provider for ruining my face. I've been twice, though I like the Doctor Who I seen there (white male, I'm not sure what his name is) the phone lines to speak to Somebody (versus it's make an appointment cancel etc., etc.) is pretty ridiculous. I tried to call to cancel an appointment stood on hold for over 20mins. I lost signal so the call ended an I wasn't able to call back. So I was charged for the cancellation fee, which wasn't a big issue at the time now for my 4th appointment, I have to cancel again. low and behold as I'm writing this been on hold for over 20mins. This is extremely unprofessional that I cannot get in touch with anybody in somewhat of a timely manner. I really like the dermatologist there, but not being able to contact them. Whatsoever is not only costing me significant time and also money, but is extremely unprofessional. I'm not sure I can continue going here which sucks because the doctor seem good. Brad Armstrong PA performed an in office surgical procedure yesterday. He was calm, professional, clear and kind! He had great bedside manner and when I left my cost was even less than my estimate. Totally UNPROFESSIONALPoor customer service. I made an appointment, gave insurance information then received a call back saying our insurance was not valid. They informed us that they were canceling our appointment before even trying to figure out the issue. Our insurance is VALID, we used it twice this week and never had problems in the past. The young lady was not even willing to do additional research to figure out the error. Just....."Sorry, we'll have to cancel your appointment." Wow! After never receiving a statement for almost four years I was turned over to a collection agency without a emailing me or calling me first. I will never step foot in that office again. Had surgery for skin cancer, and I received excellent care from Dr. Dharamsi and her nurse. I had a 4 inch incision and a week after the stitch removal, you can hardly see the scar. Her entire staff is amazing and gives excellent customer service. I have been to many dermatologists over the years, and she is the best yet. She is so kind and compassionate!! I really want to give her 10 stars!! I have seen very few doctors with her attitude and great bedside manor. Keep up the good work!! I highly recommend her office! read more

No issue with the care but the business office is seriously lacking. We've made several appointments for procedures and every time they call the day before after 5:30 to let us know our family DR. has not sent the referral/authorization for the insurance. I saw with my own eyes the referral sent....TWICE....but Legacy claims they didn't get it. We've had to cancel 2 appointments now. Won't be back. Have asked for a referral to a dermatologist that our primary consistently refers to so we can actually get the procedures done. Waste of time. One other thing, it's impossible to get ahold of anyone here. Most of the time you have to leave a VM and someone might call back the next day. read more

Dr. Dharamsi is golden! I followed her from when she was practicing at Lewisville Dermatology. She is quick, yet thorough and so pleasant to talk to. She explains everything to you... her assistants and the front desk staff are wonderful. However, whoever works her accounting needs to be retrained on how to balance books or something. They tried to charge my mother $120 when she did not owe anything, she had to get on a three way conference with billing and her insurance to sort it out. Then, I get a bill for what I already paid. So I sent the three cents I owed. That aside, I adore the doctor. She knocks it out of the ballpark every time. read more

First, Dr. Farid Dharamsi is a thief. He injects as much fillers as possible to get money from you and did not care that he damaged your skin by putting a lot of pressure on the fillers after injected. I had to go to another dermatogolist to dissolve it. Second, his office manager, Daren, is the rudest. then follow whole staff is very rude and careless just like the owner or doctor. Dr. Earnest is great! Can't say enough about her. Super nice and friendly. I highly recommend her if you are coming here. The assistant she has is a little pushy though. I can't remember if I had the same one this time as last time but both times I came in I was annoyed/felt like she was over stepping. I just didn't get a good/comfortable feeling with the assistant. I wish she wasn't even in the room. One thing I will say though is that if you are self pay it's kind of expensive because even for a quick recheck they charge you $125. My initial visits was about the same (I can't remember if it was $150 or $125). I was really shocked that it was that much. I thought it would either be no charge or like $65 or something. Not just as high as my initial appointment. I don't feel like I got anything from my recheck. They came in for a few mins to tell me everything looks good, keep doing what I'm doing and that was $125 lol. I would say if you are self pay and feel like you CAN skip your recheck to do so. It's not worth what they charge if your issue is being resolved. Since it's the same price as a regular visit might as well only go back if you have issues again. Had an appointment during the week day for 10:30 and was not seen until 11:15. The front office receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive. Thankfully, the PA was empathetic to the situation. I saw the PA Patrice. I have never been to a place that does 15 minute appointments. Had they said that it would only be a 15 minute appmt for a new patient when I booked I would have gone to a different place. I have been dealing with a lot of medical issues and it is very difficult physically to go to the dr but I desperately needed Dermatolgy care for multiple things. I went in with a list and they said they didn't have time to go over more than two things. so even though I paid a $50 copay, I had to make another appointment with a different doctor to address the other issues. Patrice was in an extreme hurry. After paying a large amount of money for the copay for my son and I and the products recommended, I called the same day and asked for a receipt and all the recommendations because I didn't see one in all that was given to me or anything they said they would write down for me that they recommended. I did get the recommendations after calling but it has been two weeks and I still can't get anyone to send me what all I paid for so that I can get reimbursed for any of it. They obviously cannot fulfill my needs so we will not be back read more

Dr. Dharamsi is the best at what she does. She was very welcoming and addressed all my concerns. She didn't just give me options, but make sure to explain why those options are recommended. Their billing department sucks. I have been chasing them for my refund which took 1.5 months to be processed, that upon me escalating the issue. I also got a dismissal notice from them because I asked for my refund and reviewed them on Google. Wow, you cannot find a worst place to get yourself treated. A wonderful experience considering it's been all medical procedures (can it be wonderful if scalpels are involved?). Dr. Dharamsi is professional, confident, skilled, and has an exceptional bedside manner. I felt comfortable with her and her staff, and I knew I was in good hands. I'm no one's ideal patient. I was nervous and they made it easy on me. The most invasive procedure was on my face (my face!), and it went without a hitch, and is healing perfectly, can barely see the scar. Because I spent many a SoCal summer in the sun, I need a Dermatologist I can trust. I only went to Legacy Derm to get a second opinion, and now I can't imagine going anywhere else. I have been a patient for years as was my wife. The care provided is great. However, hope you don't get a prescription from your provider at Legacy Dermatology. If you ever need a refill you will find it's a real hassle. Multiple requests for approval from the pharmacy over the past week have gone unanswered. I called and left a message and so far no response. If it were the first time I have had this problem I'd say it was unique. However, I have never gotten a refill for my wife or myself that didn't take multiple contacts and follow ups. Something is broken in their system for handling refill requests. read more

So I moved from LA and needed a touch up of Juvederm filler for my lips and looked and looked online for weeks for a good med spa that would do half a syringe for me and someone recommended Legacy Dermatology to me based on their incredible experience with Dr. Dharamsi. She gets booked up super quick so I had to wait about a month for an appointment. But it was worth it!! Pearl and Dr. Dharamsi were so unbelievably helpful, kind, professional and knowledgeable and knew and understood exactly what I wanted! Imagine being a new patient, having insurance and being told AFTER being seen you owe the full amount $320, and the practice will refund you after insurance pays?? Our family were patients here for five years but we are switching now. We have had so many issues lately with scheduling, follow up care, billing, and as others mentioned unprofessional customer service. Trying to get through on the phone is nearly impossible, as is scheduling online. Our last Dr appointment (week and a half ago) was our third try at an appointment because the office kept calling and rescheduling our visit just days before the appointment. You can't really try and see another dr, because we did, and went to one they suggested at their Prosper location. Our visit in Prosper did not go well and the follow up care from that location really lacked. Basically no help and we are just stuck with the original issue we went in for. Billing is always to the advantage of the office, and you are left without being able to get an itemized receipt explaining the charges. We have over paid a few times and last time resulted in needing a refund vs leaving on the account, which had to be in check form (their standard procedure) which was not time efficient or convenient for us. This last visit we actually asked questions at check out and were treated very unprofessionally, rude even. I've spoken to an office manager and was told the check out issue would be addressed but basically no resolution on the other issues. I have also emailed our dr directly but no answer to date. IMO this place is run as a business, not as a care team. I don't believe they value the patient relations enough for us. What started out pretty well has gotten increasingly more and more problematic for us over time. There are too many challenging factors for us at this point to keep working through it. read more

I've been going here for about 6 months now and have seen both Dr. Dharamsi and Patrice. Both are incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and any skin issue you walk in with will be solved or have an excellent treatment plan when you leave whether or not it's the issue that brought you in the first place. I love how thorough they are and how on top of any situation you may have they are from their follow ups to their quickness at getting back to you with any phoned in questions. My husband and daughter both see either Dr. Dharamsi or Patrice as well and feel the same way. Daughter's eczema is under control and she has products that actually work on teen skin without aggravating it further. On the product note, they do sell many in a variety of price ranges and don't push them on you. My husband, daughter, and myself all now have a customized skincare routine. Andrea is amazing too for any cosmetic skin concerns. I've done a facial, a peel, 2 different lasers, and even ventured into Botox once with her and it was a great experience every time. She takes a "less is more" approach with Botox so I never felt stiff or expressionless. When it came to the lasers it was for a specific concern in one area that I was told might take more than one treatment and they adjusted the price for the second treatment since it was isolated to one spot. This was my first experience seeing a dermatologist and it went so smoothly: 1) I check-in and speak to the front reception staff with smiles and such kindness. 2) My wait time is less than 5 minutes if that to go to my room and to see the doctor. 3) very knowledgeable and explains why acne is occurring. I saw Patrice Simon and she was very warming and welcoming. I had no idea I would be getting the diagnosis I did that day, but she put my mind at ease with what would be upcoming for me in the future needing to have MOHS procedure. Her nurse was very personable. I had questions after I left and called back leaving a voicemail message, she returned my call within the hour. I do believe I have found my Dermatologist for life, now that I will be needing more frequent follow ups. read more

First off let me say Dr Dhramsi is very sweet. She addresses you very warmly and does take her time with you. I brought my daughter in for a rash and she made her feel very comfortable. My issue with this office is follow up and also cosmetic options. I have had a Medical Assistant trying to give answers I felt should of been answered by the doctor or PA. Also, when I went in to see if there was anything that could be done with the Melasma/Dark spots on my face, I was given a cream from a compound pharmacy that did absolutely nothing but make me break out. I paid $86 plus shipping fees and when I called the office to ask is prescription could be filled locally I was told this pharmacy in Allen was my only option. It was very frustrating as I also asked about laser, peels or any alternatives. Dr Dhramsi then recommended another cream (non prescription) which cost $135 and gave me no other options. This cream did not fade anything. Just made my skin feel really greasy. I did some research on my own and went to see another derm and they have recommended Melange Peels to lighten the melasma. They have also put me on a regimen to continue to keep the spots light. None of these options were available to me at Legacy Derm. read more

I had to leave yet another review for Legacy Dermatology as I had a BBL laser treatment with Dr. Farid Dharamsi today to treat my rosacea. I have never done a laser treatment of any kind so I was extremely nervous. He was so patient with me, and I could tell that my comfort was his number one priority. He told me that we would take it slow, and that he had nothing but time for me. So refreshing to find that kind of bedside manner these days- which made the whole process a lot easier. I will definitely not be afraid to do another treatment in the future! I made an appointment and arrived a few minutes early. I waited about 25 mins. before being called back to an exam room. The PA came in and said she was running late. She rushed through my appointment missing half of the things I needed removed. She left and said the assistant would take off one tag. Her assistant did. Since we have skin cancer in my family I get checked every year. Every year I get several spots "CO2-ed" off or scraped off. Because the PA was running late due to patients before me she did not take care of me properly. She told me she had to go catch up in regards to time. I was the one who suffered. Now, I made this appointment, made sure I took time out of my schedule to drive there and be positive. I was not taken care of properly. When I saw Dr. D. on my previous visit she used her magnification tool like a good doctor would, and checked me over thoroughly. The PA did not use the magnification tool. Very upsetting. When I asked the PA to take one of my skin problems off, she said, "I don't see it." I could feel it and pointed to it. She still did nothing. Maybe she could have taken the time with me that I deserved and paid for.... and actually use the magnification tool to make sure my skin was looked at correctly. Very very upsetting. Went in to see Dr. Earnest for Botox. She is amazing and very knowledgeable. This is my second visit to Legacy Dermatology. The first time was for a screening with Dr. Dharamsi. She is excellent as well. Both experiences were wonderful. I would 100% recommend Legacy Dermatology! read more
