Don't ever go here because they are breaking ADA laws. They refused myself and my service dog entry to their public sale at 648 Noble Rd. and their only solution was that he could be held outside by strangers and wouldn't be with me if I had a medical episode. They claimed it was because of damage to the floor but he was wearing shoes and wouldn't damage the floors. They claimed to know ADA laws and yet continued to deny me access. read more

When my car-collector brother-in-law passed away, I searched Yelp for companies that handled estate sales. I was impressed with the reviews for Legacy Estate Sales. I have to say that Linda is the most compassionate and caring person who genuinely has a gift of making the burden we were facing seem much more manageable. Cristhian, likewise, is very comforting with his "we can do this" spirit. Suddenly, this difficult time didn't seem so overwhelming. They both indicated that, due to the complexity and quantity of items, they would need a little extra time to properly organize and stage the contents of the property for the sale. It is amazing what they were able to accomplish. We live a distance from the property and they kept us posted as to the progress. The visual difference between the "before" vs. the "after" was amazing. Linda and her team handled most of the inside house-related organization. Cristhian and his team handled the huge garage, cars, and outside items. The sale was advertised to Linda's huge following and we also invited his "car guy" friends. The turnout was amazing. Legacy provided security the night before the sale and during the sale itself. They had staff working in each area of the sale and were actively working with the customers. Cleanup after the sale went quickly and Cristhian actually came back several days after the sale to handle after-sale pickup of some of the larger items. All-in-all, this was a great answer to what appeared to us as an overwhelming situation. Legacy is a first-class operation and I can, without reservation, recommend them to anyone facing this difficult task. The proceeds from the sale exceeded our expectations by a significant margin. There are not enough good things to say about Legacy!!! I randomly stopped in at a sale in my neighborhood which Legacy was hosting. I walked through and recall being so impressed with everything that I took a photo incase I had the need to use them one day. Well unfortunately we lost our grandma and fortunately I remembered Legacy. I called Linda and her and Christian came to her home and said it looked good and they would love to host a sale for us. The first day of the sale, I showed up because I needed to fix something unrelated to the sale and got to see the sale in action. I would say there were about 15 people working, someone in every room, money is collected at the front, security checks that you paid before you leave and security sits at the front making sure there are no purses being brought in. This was great because everyone is a stranger and could steal clothes, jewelry and other stuff, so this policy of theres is beyond appreciated. Also, they put up tons of signs which get customers to the sale easily. Fast forward to the end of the two day sale and I would say they sold about 98% of the items in the home. Everything from jewelry to furniture to records to art to electronics to kitchenware and so much more. We are thrilled with the total dollars sold! This company is a must when you need an estate sale and we all truly thank Linda, Christian and their team for being so professional and delivering exactly what we hoped for. read more

Thanks to the other Yelp reviews, I found Legacy and contacted them to inquire about conducting a sale at my parents home of 47 years. Best decision I could have made! To say my parents house was packed full of stuff accumulated over all those years is an understatement. The amount of work they had to do to get ready for the sale was staggering, yet they handled it diligently, professionally and most importantly ethically. They organized, labeled and priced everything in a meticulous manner. I was truly impressed with the diligence they put into researching everything so that when setting prices, they were fair and accurate (both as to myself as the owner and to the individuals coming to purchase 2nd hand goods looking for deals). On the sale dates, everything was clean, neat and organized. They had a security guard and a system set up to manage the quantity of people that could enter at any one time. It was truly amazing to see how many people they have in their network that showed up. There were lines and people waiting to get in. In the end, they crushed it! They sold virtually everything in the house and the 5-10% of things that did not sell, they provided me with a hauling company to come help me discard the rest. There may be other good estate sale companies out there, but I can say without question you will not find a better, more honest and professional company than Legacy. It is hard to know where to begin or to find enough positive accolades for this family owned business. For our family, they were nothing short of a god send. We contacted Legacy Estate Sales after my father died and we were left with a very good size house filled with over 57 years of items collected and enjoyed over the years. We made an appointment to have Linda come and take a look at the house and it's contents. She arrived right on time with her incredible main assistant, Christian. After looking through the house, she sat down with me and my family. She told us about herself, her husband and their team of professionals. That they have been in business for 22 years and have a mailing list of over 8500 customers who come out to their sales. She explained the process, costs, timing of events and how the sale would be marketed and conducted. We immediately felt completely comfortable with them and knew we had found the right people. Over the next several weeks, Linda and her team worked long days to organize the many hundreds of items to be sold. She also organized and performed a massive cleanup of the property including renting a massive dumpster to clear out those items that were trash or could not otherwise be sold. All along the way, Linda kept in regular contact with me on the progress of getting everything cleaned, organized and priced for sale. On their website, they announced the dates and times of the sale as well as its general location. The Monday before the sale, she posted over 300 pictures showing the items for sale. And sent out over 8500 emails and post cards to their regular customers. The sale took place on a Saturday and Sunday. Despite less than ideal weather, there was a line up the block of people waiting to get in. And there were people throughout the house shopping and buying all weekend long. Linda had 14 employees, most who have been with her for many years, plus security working the sale. They also had people outside for traffic and line control. The sale was run so professionally and efficiently we could not believe our eyes. After the sale, which was a big success, Linda continued to work with buyers to come back and pick up their larger purchases. She had her people do an incredible job of cleaning out the house!!! Only 5 days after the end of the sale, we were provided with a detailed list of each item sold and how much was received. And that same day, we were presented with a check for the net sale proceeds. This was a Herculean effort to make this all happen. I have nightmares thinking about even attempting to have done this on my own. But during a very difficult time in our lives with the passing of my father, these angels came into our lives and made the seemingly impossible a reality. I had a really delightful experience shopping at one of Legacy's estate sales in Bel Air this last weekend. During these difficult times Legacy really excelled in a very difficult field of work. They did so with class, courtesy and safety for everyone. Being greeted by a lovely, communicative security guard taking names for the list and giving customers an idea of the wait they would expect. Offering valet (the guys were so friendly and helpful even though I didn't use them to park my vehicle) was so classy and the street was somewhat narrow so it was very thoughtful. I'd say it's the communication of all the helpers that really spoke to me. The woman who helped in the clothing room worked so hard and was very kind! The house and setting were gorgeous which didn't hurt the experience either. Prices were fair, taxes were included in all prices which was really refreshing and unusual. Overall this company has more integrity than I normally experience in this profession and I will always seek out Legacy's sales!
