I'll be honest, my day started off pretty rough after I injured my foot and ankle on a pothole near the kiddie rides. I was frustrated, in pain, and honestly feeling pretty helpless while I waited to leave the park. But Halle completely changed my attitude with her patience, compassion, and the way she took care of me during such a stressful moment. She was a true trooper through it all and went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. My day definitely went downhill from there because after hurting my foot, I even managed to hit my head pretty hard in the emergency/security room It was one of those days where everything seemed to happen at once, but I'm so grateful that Halle was there to help make a difficult situation a little easier. Lagoon really is a great place for families and making memories, and I appreciate the employees who show kindness and care when guests need it most. With that being said... can we please get that pothole by the kiddie rides fixed? Even another security guard agreed with me! Low water pressure and lack of temperature control make for a less than satisfying shower. The lines were long. I noticed in older reviews that there were complaints about the showers too. They apparently do not respond to the reviews or customer concerns. Overall, the property is nice and the staff were friendly. The camping situation is just not for me. The trailers are packed in so tight that I worried about being able to pull my trailer out when it was time to leave. We ended up waiting for others to leave to allow for more room to maneuver. I'll visit again for a day trip but I'll camp elsewhere.

Not only for the sheer size (as it's so large it'll it's very difficult to find someone you're looking for), but it also has a little "adventure" you can do if you buy the extra wristband, and it seems well monitored (there seem to be 2-3 employees roaming around at all times.). The obstacles within the playground are also widely varied with something for pretty much any age. Most importantly just about the entire playground is easily accessible for an adult to traverse. There are are even normal stairs on either side that take you most of the way up, enabling a much easier way to find your kids, rather than having to climb up through the playground yourself. The reason I give 4 stars is two reasons: 1. The rope bridges are set up in such a way that it's pure pain and misery in your feet to get across them 2. The triple slides are probably the fastest ones in the playground, and the "landing zone" is not carpeted or cushioned. It's straight plastic, which is especially painful when you aren't expecting it
