The shower situation is unacceptable. Both Men's and Women's shower facilities have three stalls. In both areas 1 stall is broken and out of service. The remaining two are just horrible. Low water pressure and lack of temperature control make for a less than satisfying shower. The lines were long. I noticed in older reviews that there were complaints about the showers too. They apparently do not respond to the reviews or customer concerns. Overall, the property is nice and the staff were friendly. The camping situation is just not for me. The trailers are packed in so tight that I worried about being able to pull my trailer out when it was time to leave. We ended up waiting for others to leave to allow for more room to maneuver. I'll visit again for a day trip but I'll camp elsewhere. read more

Honestly the worst experience at a waterpark I have ever had. Could not get a tube for their lazy river. Spent an hour waiting for one tube and couldn't even get our hands on that. Turns out you can bring your own. Doesn't say that anywhere on their website site that you need to provide your own things to try and enjoy this park. This place is overpriced, and it would be a lot better if they played music! The lazy river is one of their best features, even if they only have 20 water tubes to distribute & the shooting water parts no longer go off. They need a better variety of snack places & more restrooms. The staff are everywhere, but they all look bored and miserable! Maybe if you played music it would maybe liven them up more! We witnessed a maybe 10 year old girl stuck on a water slide today, under a waterfall to make things worse! The mom was super concerned as expected pointing & directing the life guard to do something about it, but he seemed lost in thought & by the time he attempted to react the little girl's tube finally dropped! I give Credit to the Mom. I probably would've been kicked out for what I had to say about that situation! The so-called lifeguards reaction just floored me! We rented a spot at the campground for two nights and the tree spilled gallons of seeds all over everything but we weren't bothered much by that. That's part of camping. What the 1 is for is the harassment and late night threats from a rude security guard who was very demeaning to my family and called the cops to come talk to us. We had a family get together with grandparents and cousins. Both nights we were threatened for being too loud. Funny thing is the guard rode his noisy golf cart around our spots over and over yelling that we were disobeying camp policy. No clue where this guy was from. Beware! You really do not want to camp here. We were not loud. Most of us were asleep. Too bad. Not worth the drive or the camp fees. Try lagoon! read more

We used to enjoy going here annually as a family. This year, a very rude and awful security guard ruined it for our entire group. He harassed us endlessly. The security guard, Marcus Goodsell is a total a-hole. We have never been treated so badly. Most camp hosts are polite and welcoming. This guy came by our camp (3 families) and yelled at us and got in our faces. We are super quiet, but according to him, we were too loud at 10:01. We were seriously just enjoying each others company and conversing at normal volume. We don't drink or party. We asked the neighboring campers if we were loud and all 5 said they they didn't heart a thing. This douchebag mall cop called the city police on us. They came and after both sides shared the story, the police sided with us. Now our extended family members never want to come back. read more

Cherry Hill is a great place to come with a family! There's a lot kid-friendly areas as well as stuff for the adults to enjoy! I particularly love coming here for family reunions because it's small and you run into each other often! That's however my only complaint too, is that it's small. There's only a few main things and personally I can get a little tired of it. I recommend getting the King of the Hill pass because then you can go do mini golf (a really fun course), rock climbing, a maze, etc. It significantly expands your options if you want a break from the water! I do love that there's plenty of grass space to set up camp for the day! There's a lot of shade but also areas in the sun if you prefer that. It's a very safe and family friendly environment. It's not fair to have someone that doesn't like water parks review a ...... water park. But here we are. This place has been here forever. It's a staple in the community and most families remember going for as long as they can remember. What's important to me is seating and shade. (I'm a fair-skinned redhead) I'm pleased to report that there is ample seating and large, mature trees all around. People scout out their places early and reserve chairs and sections of grass, so plan accordingly. The water appeared to be clean and the park was well-maintained, despite its age. Most of the staff are teenagers but they are friendly and competent. You are allowed to bring your own food and drink, just not glass or alcohol. I'd recommend bringing food because what they have to offer is greasy and overpriced. After being worn out sufficiently in the water, we hit the rock wall and other activities. They were a little tricky to find (behind the gift shop) which may have attributed to the lack of crowds. Don't underestimate the jungle maze. We thought it would be lame, but it took us awhile to find our way out. My son enjoyed the rock wall and we all look bed pelting each other with foam balls in the blackout room (I forget what it's really called). The mini golf is nothing amazing but it does it's job. Overall, this is a fun place. If you plan on doing any of the activities beyond swimming, I'd pay the extra few bucks for the king pass. Then you can do all the things. You know you want to do all the things. Oh. The pie. Eat the pie. Lots of it. They didn't call this Cherry Hill for nothin'! read more

Targeted primarily to families and younger children, this park has several water slides (none super fast), a lazy river, a pirate-themed kiddy pool, and a few bigger casual swimming pools. Additionally, Cardiac Canyon is a tubing rapids-style water slide that's a blast for all ages! Besides the pools, Cherry Hill has a fun miniature golf course, a rock wall, a maze, a kiddie boat ride, a kiddie play place, blasterball, and a trampoline game. Staff members are young--most are high school kids, but each team member I encountered was friendly and respectful. One great thing about Cherry Hill is that you can bring in outside food and drink into the park, though they offer concessions for those who are interest. They have plenty of shade for everyone, which allowed us to stay longer. They allow coolers & that also helped to make for a better experience than other places we've been. Everything was so clean! Especially the bathrooms, which is hard to keep up with at a water park. They did a great job. The slides were great & not too scary for mom (lol). The lazy River was super nice & has a neat attraction every hour. Pricy to get in, but worth it! Plan to stay at least 6 hours if you get a King of the Hill Pass. We have stayed at this park for 40 years with my children and now grandchildren. We have always enjoyed the waterslides, golfing and the pie pantry. But this year things changed and they quit offering the free pool to its campers. Now you spend $90 to camp and get nothing in exchange except your spot. They want you to buy a day splash pass for almost &30.00 just to swim. They have raised their prices as well. When I called to talk to the manager they offered nothing and pretty much said they didn't care. We are now looking elsewhere to camp. I really feel that money has become more important to them than the customer, when really the customer is who makes them money...SAD... read more

It was fun but way overcrowded and I wish they had storage lockers near the sitting areas that you could rent for the day - right now your option is to leave it in your bag on your towel or lock it in your car, neither of which feel very safe. We stayed 3 nights at the RV Park in our pull behind travel trailer. The park is well kept and the bathrooms are clean. The spots are very narrow. So narrow that our campsite neighbor had to take down their awning for us to get in our spot. We went to the water park one of the days and it was smaller than we were anticipating. There are only two mat/tube style slides, but the lazy river, although small, was a family favorite. I thought we would spend all day at the water park, but the kiddos tired of the lazy river. We decided to do the putt putt golf course, which was awesome! Every hole is well kept and has a cool theme. If you are planning on going, I would definitely do the King of the Hill pass, so that it's all inclusive with the water park and putt putt golf. read more

we drove an hour to go here & it was not worth the drive. I would've rather paid double the amount to go somewhere nicer and less crowded than here. I brought my 5 month old & there was no where with shade that was available or even a pavilion you could sit under without having to pay extra for. Also hated that I had to buy a "swim diaper cover". I had to change my baby into her swim diaper, swim diaper cover & swimsuit before we could even go in and there is no place designated place that makes it easy for you to change a baby or even child for that matter. Also, hated having to haul my stroller & stuff uphill from the overflow parking to the entrance because there is no easy way to the entrance unless you come from the camping side. If you go, don't go on a Saturday. It was a horrible experience & not worth driving to. I was very displeased with workers & how hard it was to get around. read more

The review is for the RV park. We stayed here for a few months. Prices are ok but there are plenty of extra fees so you may end up paying more than other places. They cram people in here like a can of sardines. - Dog poop everywhere. - Very uneven camp spots. - Office hours are only m-f 3-6pm. It- Hard to get in to talk to employees. - Couldn't find an emergency contact if power went out or for emergencies. - Beyond terrible wifi. - Bathrooms close in winter. - You have to insulate your water spigot yourself. - Just plain ghetto. - Campers still pay a fee for the water park($?) and mini golf($10/person) - They may be WAY overcharging for electricity. For one month in winter, we had over $200??? We didn't pay that much in a house.... I'm sure it's ok in summer when you're going to their water park and mini golf. But for full-timers or long term stay, I would suggest elsewhere. The RV park is just an old one that is falling way behind the times. Ok in a pinch but not my first choice. Good for kids under 10. We bought season passes and my 13 and 15 year old went only a few times and I had to drag them back there after going the first time. The pools all had so much hair in them it grossed us out. Especially the lazy River. It was so packed with people we could hardly move. Feels unsanitary with that many people in the pools and lazy River like there's no way the chlorine could keep up. We bought season passes but we're told we didn't get the 6 free guest passes that were a perk of Black Friday because we bought them a day later (it said Black Friday Deal on their website when we bought them). And my 80 year old mom had skin cancer removed and her leg was all bandaged. She had come at 7 one night just to sit with me and watch the kids for an hour and they made her pay full price. They would not budge. For those reasons, it's just not worth it to me. Lagoon is a lot better deal when you consider you get an amusement park plus a water park that's bigger. We did have fun mini golfing as a family one night. But all in all, not something we'd do again. The kids hamster cages, boat ride and maze need to go and have something put in their place to perk the place up. read more

Cherry Hill isn't a statewide or nationwide attraction, but for the locals, it is the place to be during the summer. My family buys the annual pass and literally spends several days each week in the summer at the pool while I slave away at work. Cherry Hill is a family friendly place and attracts a family friendly crowd. There isn't much to the waterpark, a few slides, a pool and a kiddie section, but if you enjoy lounging around during the summer, it works. We haven't done the King of the Hill pass but may need to try that since it includes mini golf and the other attractions. I wouldn't pay full price to go here, but the annual pass is worth it! read more

On our road trip, this was where we stopped to camp the first, based on it's reviews, it's climate, and the fact that it's a water park. @(!& yes, a water park. So I'll review all parts of this really fun resort seperately. First, the campgrounds. They were incredibly clean, the spaces were big, and tent-campers were placed away from RV campers. We couldn't have a fire, but we each got picnic tables to cook and eat at. There were almost no insects, which was pretty amazing. The bathrooms had showers attached -- although not great showers, they got the job done. The only problem was that it was a bit loud--expected, since we are two twenty-somethings surrounded by giant RVs full of happy playing families and children, that we would complain about this. But still, a good spot. The water park: SO much fun. Despite being the only two people of our age there without kids, we really enjoyed ourselves. The tube ride is a blast--both the one down the slide and the "lazy river" slow loop around the park. The double dragon ride is quite fun--go on the rightmost slide to get the fastest speed in. And the extras were a blast. Good batting cages, great mingolf course, decent arcade. Go there. Go there a bunch! read more

Stopped here twice very late at night while RVing. Owners had no problem with making sure we were set up OK. Stayed here other times and found it to be a very pleasant resort to boot. If we're anywhere near here, we'll make a point of stopping here. Close to major arteries yet elevated location combined with greenery and cleverly designed fencing eliminates traffic noise. This place needs some recent reviews! We camped here with our RV on 4th of July week for 5 days - arrived Monday and checked out Saturday. July in Northern Utah can be HOT, y'all! We had highs in the 90's each day by 5pm. Bring all the shade you've got, and If you're not bringing A/C along, you better be planning to use the pool! We stayed in the northwest corner of the campground that borders a (very well-kept) mobile home community. Apparently, if you state that you don't need water hookups upon registration, you will get a site further away from the entrance...and all the fun, noisy stuff. Although all campsites appear to have water hookups, some of those are for irrigation only...only select sites have "potable" water available. QUALITY: You'll want to note that this place has been here for 40-something years...it is certainly not brand newly remodeled at the moment, but definitely in REALLY great shape considering the age! CAMPGROUND - I don't have a ton of experience camping, but the sites here are definitely extremely close together - when it's full, it feels like you're parked at a festival or something. - The grounds are situated on a hill at the base of the Wasatch mountains, so the scenery is really enjoyable. There are lots of mature trees providing shade throughout. It was obvious watching the staff that management takes landscape irrigation very seriously here. - Noise: Even with all the families with young children, it was very quiet here late-night and early-morning...just the faint sound of traffic off in the distance. - Pavilions: We didn't use them, but there are a few available for rent for parties next to the entry - they had counter-height tables for a serving area in addition to all the picnic table seating...thought that was a nice touch. - WiFi - they have a password protected wi-fi which worked fine on my laptop/desktop computers b/c the pop-up window showed up to request the password, but I couldn't get this window to pop up on any other of our devices (iPad, iPhone). This was a little frustrating (but I don't blame them...just sharing experience). BATHROOMS: These are legit bathrooms - generally with 3 private shower stalls (including changing area) and 3 regular toilets. I would not want a campsite adjacent to the bathroom - it can get noisy. Granted, this was a busy holiday week so giving them a bit of a pass here, but bathrooms cleanliness this visit was subpar for the $40 nightly cost of the campground. If I was running this place, I would put extra checks on the bathrooms/showers on busy holidays/weekends. There was constantly a substantial amount of hair in the shower drains (...a personal peeve). There was a utility sink outside the bathroom which came in very handy for us for washing dishes. POOL: Entry to the smaller of the two pools is included in the camping fee. It does go to 8 feet, and little kids and big kids alike seemed to enjoy themselves there. It would've been nice if there was some sort of pool screen present there for use - there were some bandaids in the pool and would've been nice to get them out with something other than the bottom of a flip-flop. There were less than 10 lounge chairs there so don't expect to get one at busy times, but there were also several plastic patio chairs - I was always able to get something to sit on when I went. Overall at the water features, lifeguards abound, and they were extremely attentive. AMUSEMENT PARK: The amusement park features were fantastic for my 9 and 6-year-old boys. The size and number of attractions was just right for them, and there were kids of all ages clearly enjoying themselves as well. I'm pregnant so hubby took them to basically all the attractions on his own, and they all had fun. They spent the most time at the blasters and water slides, but the jungle maze was a neat novelty attraction. We did play mini-golf and went to the small pool as a family and had a lot of fun. Pricing structure is very reasonable IMO. FOR PARENTS: You might be interested to know that the waterslides were not too scary for my 6 year old but hubby also still enjoyed them. The slides do not go into deep pools (which was great for my non-water-safe kids). My 43ish" tall child could easily stand with his mouth above the (warmer) water in the lazy river. Another thing, it doesn't get dark here until about 9pm in the summer. SERVICE: Check in process was pleasant. Staff was generally very friendly throughout...some even going out of their way to greet you. read more

Went today and it was extremely busy and hot, in my opinion it wasn't worth the money. The lines were really long for very short rides and attractions and on top of that the ground was extremely hot and there was no warnings, no places to put shoes because the ground was definitely 100+ degrees. I would highly suggest bringing water sandals. My friend got blisters from the heat and they are very very painful. read more

This RV campground is definitely not designed for larger rigs. The path to get our site was blocked by a 40' fifth wheel that would not allow me to turn down the road to get to the site assigned to us. We had to back in from the row in front. Once I got on the site, position of the RV either put our steps right in front of the power pole of the site next to us, or if we moved to miss the pole, our vehicles will not fit on the site once we set up. ( we are in a 40' fifth wheel. It is January 5th and below freezing temperatures, and the water pipe is not insulated.We planned to stay here until May but we are leaving after just one night. The management needs to realize all campers are not created equal and on a full time basis need to tell potential customers that ahead of time. We traveled from Georgia to here with the idea this was a sufficient campground since it's priced at 600.00 a month, about 40% higher than most long term stays. This is a perfect campground for campers of about 32' in length with no slideouts. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. just know, IF YOUR CHILD VANISHED, this waterpark has NO system to evacuate, or help find them. Our car got blocked and the manager did NOTHING about it. There is no PA system Incase of emergency. Want to know what their solution was? WAIT UNTIL THEY LEAVE, could be hours or days, OR go up to every individual in the waterpark. THAT was the managers solution. She offered no help, and stared at us. It was an absolute shit show. Go up to every person in the waterpark, really? Ridiculous. The Lloyds are cheap!!! Do NOT go. We stayed at Cherry Hill on our second night of a 3k, 5 state trip as a family (we were staying with our truck and truck camper). THE CAMPGROUND: Campground was okay. We only stayed one night but there is not a lot of space between campers....it's a really tight squeeze. We were there on July 1st and a group of campers decide they were going to walk out of their tightly squeezed area to go next to other campers (us) at the end of the row and light off fireworks. Employees were quick to let them know they couldn't do that there which was nice but then the group went to the parking lot and did the same thing until they were told again they had to stop. They lose one star for the fact that the spot are so close together. Place was clean though. THE WATERPARK: Waterpark was wonderful. Our original plan was to stay further down at another waterpark/amusement park but it was a lot more expensive and knowing we could only stay for three hours before we had to take off, Cherry Hill was perfect price wise and it was great being able to bring in our own food and store things in lockers. My kids won't stop talking about it and cannot wait to go back to the waterpark. We would be okay with staying at the campground again in the future to enjoy the waterpark even though the spaces were close together. read more

Cherry Hill Management and First Aide Team really suck. I understand they treat alot of scraps but when a 3 year falls and is knock unconscious. Yes 911 needs to be called. No he doesn't need water. And yes your adult management needs to stay with the child and mother til the scene is cleared. Not the youth life guard. NO ONE THERE WAS ABLE to deal with a emergency and management came over asked what happened and then left. Before the 10 emergency personnel from Kaysville and Davis county came to help. And unfortunately my 31 year old daughter fell down some horrible mark stairs a few weeks before then...and bleed everywhere. No one cared!!! No First Aide to be able to stop the bleeding but the towels from the bathroom. No report, no management nothing but a bandaid. I think Cherry hill needs to step up management training and clearly first aide. Love the park....just don't get hurt. read more

Took the grandkids there last week. Was great except for the fact that they got stuck in two places on the rock slide and no lifeguards helped them get going. Everyone gets stuck there and they need lifeguards there to give everyone a push. For the price it costs to swim, I think they could pay for a couple more lifeguards. read more

Such a fun place for families! I think the price for daily passes is pretty high. If you're local, the King of the Hill pass is the way to go. You have access to everything! I love the family atmosphere, and they don't hit you with extra charges for parking or tubes. It's not too crowded, either. It's a good fit for families with young children, but it's pretty mild for teens. They also have fun, free concerts on summer nights. read more
