The lanes were poorly oiled, and the place was almost as crappy and disgusting as the workers behind the front counter, food and drinks were way overpriced. Threatening to kick out a party of toddlers for being kids instead of politely asking the parents to watch them closer is not the way to solve a problem. My company rented out this facility for a couple hours in February. It appears small on the outside and looks like an older alley on the inside. However, the bowling lanes all worked like they were supposed to, there was a small arcade, and most suprising of all -- the food was excellent. I mean, it is a bowling alley, so how mucb do I really need to say? Getting shoes was quick, but they only had 1 size 15 shoe, so one other person in our group needed to wear 16's. The leadup to the lanes is a bit tight. Meaning, when each team had 4 players and were standing around talking, it was hard to get around the tables and squeeze past the people talking. If you went with just a couple others, I'm sure it is fine, but I would think that during league play, it would be annoying to routinely have to squeeze past people all the time. The real surprise that I mentioned earlier was the food. I got a burger, fries, and onion rings. The fries and onion rings are frozen, of course, but they were very good. Even the burger was flavorful, which is saying a lot for what I would normally get at a bowling alley. I'd bowl thete just to grab lunch, honestly. And it was made super fast as well. The woman whok took the order seemed disintrested, but there was a lot of us up there consistently for drinks and such, so I couls see how it could wear you down. Overall, this doesn't look like it would be a great place to bowl, but it actually is. If you have a lot of people bowling on lanes, the fit is pretty tight to get to the lane if literally anyone is standing rather than sitting. The lanes all work just fine. They have cosmic bowling (they turned that on during our rental). There is an arcade. And the food is really good if you like what I would consider "bar food" (burgers, fries, onion rings, chicken baskets, fish baskets). It it good enough to go there just to eat, so if you need dinner and also like to bowl, this is a good place to try. read more

Bowler beware! The lanes are poorly maintained and the desk staff was belligerent about the conditions of their poorly maintained lane being somehow our fault - we didn't even pick the lane, let alone have anything to do with the broken pin return mechanism, nor the broken scoring sensors. Zero stars (except that yelp won't actually let me post a zero). We bought 2 games with shoe rentals which was between $50-60 for a party of four (prices as of Dec 2023). We bailed out after the first game because the experience was so unplayable. The staff refused to issue a refund on the second, unplayed game. Our 70 year old mother (on blood thinners) slipped and fell in the lanes with severe bruising. Our lane was so poorly maintained that we had to have nearly every frame's score corrected - which you can't correct yourself as there's no computer system at each lane, only at the front desk - our pin reset mechanism kept setting up with one pin missing, and the scoring would indicate that you never knocked down the phantom pin making strikes and spares impossible. On 4-5 occasions it would frequently drop all 9 (or, if we were lucky, 10) pins by releasing the pins in the air without setting them down. When it wasn't missing or dropping pins, it would freeze with the bar down and wait 5+ minutes to reset. Our neighbor lanes bowled their two games in the time it took us to reach frame ten on our first game. We asked for a refund only on the second game, and the front desk told us "no refunds, sorry that your lane had issues. You can see that every other lane is working fine." Which wasn't true as both lanes nearest us also had issues with their pin resets. They gave us vouchers for one free game, but there's no way that I'll ever bowl another game in this terrible establishment. If you care at all about your score, or about having fun while you bowl, you'll be better served at any other bowling alley in the world. read more

We were really impressed. Of course we knew it was an old and outdated place, but I don't know of many bowling alleys that aren't. That's part of the charm. The lanes are computerized so they program names for you and the bumpers go up and down for the kids. They have ramps on every few lanes and 8 lb balls on their own rack to make it easy too. Everything went smoothly. Not glitches. And the shoes were nice! Pretty new and not gross. And Velcro!! The food was actually pretty good. My 7 year old said it was the best cheeseburger he ever had. He's said that about a few places, so that's not a definitive endorsement. But I have to agree it was pretty good. My husband said it was ok. Fresh but not his favorite. My daughter loved the mini corn dogs. Onion rings and fries were fresh and ok. So, not our favorite, but pretty good for bowling alley food. TIP: read the sign. All burgers and sandwiches come with fries. More than enough. Don't spend $5 getting another basket of them! Definitely a place we'd come again. But we might not eat there since it was a little pricier than we like to spend for a regular outing. read more

Love bountiful bowl for a couple reasons! Good priced bowling and the food is great! We loved their onion rings, burgers and fish and chips! We went tonight (Friday) and it was full but we were able to get a lane soon after getting there. We will for sure be back, even though it's about 25 mins from our house. For 3 people to bowl one game, we paid $24 and that included the shoe rental. The overall vibe was nice! We really enjoyed the music, we were born in the 90's and it was the kind of music we grew up listening to. read more

This bowling alley still has the atmosphere of the 90's. I remember bowling here more than 10 years ago, while I was in Junior High. Like every bowling alley, you will find teenagers on dates, lots of families, and lots of groups drinking a glass of beer. It is pretty fun here and you can get into bowl quickly on a Saturday night. It is very crowded though and can get super, super loud. More chaotic, in my opinion. We paid $10 a person to bowl for an hour, which included shoes. That's a pretty great deal! The chicken fingers and fries we ordered were yummy, but a little bit expensive for the serving portion. We probably won't eat next time we bowl. The bowling lanes have about 4 chairs and we love that there is a high table with seating as well in the back behind the lanes. The system also adds your name, which is fun! At 9:30PM, when the lights go off and you have the LED lighting and music is the best time to go! It's so fun! We were a little bummed that our lane malfunctioned twice in the one hour we bowled, taking time away from bowling, but that's expected in a outdated alley. It is a little messy and it's one of those places where you don't want to use the public bathroom, but it's a great deal on bowling and a local favorite! read more

This place is a little rundown, but we were able to quickly get a lane on a Saturday night... what more could you ask for?! $20 for two people to play two games with shoe rental. Pretty cheap and fun date night! Around 9:30 they turned off the lights and it became galactic bowling. There were a lot of families here. The employees were nice and helpful. Bonus - they serve beer! I got a "mini pitcher" for about $5-6. I think it was probably about 32 ounces but I could be wrong. Blue moon, some Uintah local beers (cutthroat pale ale and lime pilsner when I was there), plus a few others. My brother ordered a burger and fries which was affordable and delicious. I think it was around $6?! I'd come back here. They had some league sign up sheets too if you're looking for something like that. read more

I hadn't been here in 20 or 22 years...or more! I remember bowling a lot growing up and not just this location, but any old school bowling alley, every game would take forever with all the mechanical problems. The kiosk at each lane would freeze up, if you wanted bumpers they'd have to put them up and down manually, if they had automatic ones, they'd get stuck and the attendant would have to come over and yank it with a stick. Well, not here. Gone are the days of problem ridden bowling. Check-in was smooth and fast. Everything is now done by the attendant. If you pay for the games, he puts your name in, the bumpers are program to go up and down with whoever wants them, like your kids. Me and my husband and our four-year-old play two games. Everything went super smooth and we had a great time. We went before 5 because they had a special rate (I believe Monday through Friday before 5). I can't remember the price breakdown l, but it was $21 for three of us, two games and shoe rentals. I thought it was a great deal for a spontaneous, late afternoon activity. It was Friday and we were looking for something fun to do to kick off the weekend. It was too early for dinner and too late for lunch and we wanted to do something different. I'm glad we went here! I'm gone a lot for powerlifting training and my husband and daughter are always looking for something fun to do when I'm gone in the evenings. We're definitely going to add this into our rotation of activities! Facility is clean. Friendly attendant. Good music. Good rates. read more

A pretty average bowling alley. On Saturday night we paid over $30 for two adults and a kid to bowl two games. Not the worst I've seen, but really expensive for the facilities. Computerized scoring is controlled by the staff who misspelled my kid's name. Ball does not return at least 2-3 times a game. Lanes seem to be a bit warped; unfit for league play but fine for recreation. Selection of balls is poor. I couldn't find a ball under 8lbs, which would have been nice for my kid. They do have ramps for bumper bowling, three exactly, shared by everyone in the building. Come when it's too busy and Jr. will have to work on his "Granny Roll." Snack bar serves typically lousy bowling alley cuisine like cheese fries, hamburgers and hotdogs, but you'll have to wait for the counter-staff to rush over and make the food for you. Laneside delivery is a plus, and the onion rings were good (avoid the fries). They also have tap beer including Blue Moon and Cutthroat to improve your game and disposition. Games room has two pool tables but you'll have to bug the counter staff for a cue and cueball. Video games were second-rate 10 years ago and are now just a little sad. All in all a good but not great experience. They hit the bare bottom basics and I had fun horsing around with the family. Honsetly it would be two-stars but bowling alleys are graded on a curve. Hasn't been a terribly popular sport for decades, so I'm glad to just have it around. read more

From the outside of the building it's a older business, been established for some years now. Once I stepped inside I confirmed that it was aged. The problem was the employees. No pride in their work and not personable with customers. While I understand that there is not a lot of competition for bowling locations in Bountiful. First time here with a family of 5. What a great local find. Bowling alley was very clean and well kept. Good selection of bowling balls and shoes were clean. Paid $20 for 1 game and shoes - 4 people bowled. We came on a Saturday early evening and it wasn't crowded. Each group was spaced nicely throughout the bowling alley so we weren't close to each other. We bowled on lane 8 and it seemed to be even. No complaints! Customer service was very kind and very accommodating. Definitely will return here in the future. read more

This bowling alley SUCKS. None of their lanes work. Our game kept messing up our scores, then it wouldn't pick up the pins, then it kept dropping pins on top of others. Below average. About every three frames a pin or two would get knocked down in the reset process, which threw the scoring off on that frame. It also seemed as though they oiled the space where the pins sit and often times the pins would slide around rather than getting knocked down. It was so much fun bowling with my family here. It's family run and all the workers are super friendly and quick to help. Our lane kept malfunctioning giving us less pins or not bringing pins down at all. The employees were very helpful with this issue and gave us a little more time on our hour of bowling. read more

Older bowling alley, very outdated. Couple of times the pins didn't count when they were hit and threw the scoring off. Not a big deal overall but worth a mention. There were 3 kids staffed and only one of them was interested in any customer service - the one who seemed to be directing the rest was pretty rude. Went because of a groupon. Decent bowling alley, played pool, and after 9:30 on Fridays is unlimited bowling for only 10$ per person! Awesome deal. It's obviously out dated and there are some malfunctions with the ball but it's not bad. 3 stars because the music sucked. Terrible pop remixes all night. read more

I went to this bowling alley with my sister to have a night of fun. It is a very outdated facility. When we arrived the staff didn't really seem interested in another customer. The staff got us set up and we grabbed our bowling balls. I have never touched something and felt so repulsed at how gross they were. Finally we found a ball and started bowling. We bowled two turns then our lane broke down. We had to notify the staff and they came and fixed it. It happened again and we got it fixed. When it reset it only gave us three pins and we had to notify them again. The staff wasn't super keen to customer service. We played for a bit longer then it switched our scores. We asked for a refund for our second game but the owner said no and just gave us a code to come back and bowl another time. Save your money or go to orchard bowl instead. Very outdated and overpriced. read more

I went here with my younger brother to play two games of bowling. Within two sets of bowling, our lane went haywire and wouldn't send the balls back. Then it stopped putting the pins up. The staff went and fixed it four or fives times. We finally ended up finishing our FIRST game, but it was really tedious. So, in light of this, we went up to the counter and asked for a refund on our second game. Little did we know, in the small print, it is their policy to give no refunds. The place is really outdated and super expensive for what you get. The lane broke down, the balls and shoes were old. I just felt like we were dealt with poorly and I wouldn't recommend going here. Go to Orchard Bowl which also in Bountiful, I hear it is a decent bowling place. read more
