The gate turned out great, exactly as pictured in the online photo we printed off. The color also was perfect. We elected to pay a little extra for a primer coat to be applied by the powder coating company. Ryke is a perfectionist and spent a lot of time during installation to make sure every aspect of the gate was just right. We can definitely recommend Apex Ironworks!

I called I then called on 6/9/23 asking when Wil might call. They gave me his cell number so I called and he answered. He said he was on a call and would call me back when back to the office in a couple hours. Call did not come. I called the main office and the lady there said she'd call him then for me to call him. I did. He did not answer. Then Will called the next day 6/16/23, when I was in a meeting (first call from him and the one time I was in a meeting). This was 9 days after my initial call. I called back when I could which was maybe 15 minutes later. Of course no answer. I called the office, they put me through to an estimator that was in SLC. He gave me an estimate then said that it could not be held to though as he has not seen the property. Well what good is that estimate then? Anyways, went with someone else. I think this company has too much business for the estimator as he cannot get to new business. They got 2 stars instead of one because the lady that answers the phone was super nice and tried her best to get Will to call me.

I hate doing this, I almost never leave a bad review. But it has been months now. At the end of…read more2024 he refinished and remounted my main front gate to my home. Everything went great. Appeared to be a quality job. Jared was professional and responsive. Fast forward a year or so, in November last year the gate started falling (the top anchor bolt started loosening) and the gate has been hitting and rubbing. Pretty soon it won't be able to latch. I reached out to Jared immediately via text several times. Even offered to pay him, though clearly this was a faulty install. No response. Called him, no response. Eventually by some miracle I got him to answer after 2 months trying on and off, he said he was in an attic and couldn't hear me. I could hear him. Then I couldn't get him for another week or two. Got him one more time and as soon as he heard my name and property address he hung up. Now I think my calls are being blocked. I haven't been rude or unreasonable, just wanting to know if he can come fix my gate. Apparently Precision Ornamental has no other recourse for any follow up besides Jared. I think he's the owner and only staff member. No office staff, the website email option didn't bear fruits, and the physical location says they are located at the Staples Office store in Washington. I haven't been to check it out, but I think it's phony. Jared appears to be alive and not in any distress, I have spoken with him, but he refuses to answer further or call back. Just goes straight to voicemail. Jared if you are reading this, I will gladly take down this review and post a better one if you will call me and come to my house to fix my gate. I don't think it will be that difficult, so to avoid a job like this seems completely insane. I intend to pay another gate contractor within 2 weeks of this post if I have had no response. I already have calls in to a couple. Until further notice, if anyone is considering Precision Ornamental, I would avoid them at all costs. There are plenty of quality contractors out there. Again, if there is some extenuating circumstance (death in the family, etc) I am very sympathetic and will happily change my tune. Respectfully offered, Brady Platt.

Long…read morestory short communication started off pretty decent but then Jerrod would not return my messages or at best one message for every 4 or 5 of mine. On Sept. 9 he told me it would be installed in 4-5 weeks which later side it should have been installed on Oct 14. Today is Nov. 12, almost one month later and still nothing, and he has not responded to my last 3 messages. Complete flake. Consider taking you business elsewhere or you may go through the same ordeal I did. I will find another company to install my gate.
