I've lived in Vegas for 12 years and I've played many many courses. Year after a year management lets this place get worse they closed for a little bit to fix the fairways other than that everything else stinks. The warm up area is all very heavy dirt with not a lot of green to work with as far as hitting any irons. I really don't understand all the five-star reviews for Legacy Golf Club in Henderson. Yes -- the fairways are green and actually look very good. I'll give them that. But that's honestly where the positives end for me. Everything outside the fairways is dead. And I mean dead, dead. If you miss left or right, you're basically hitting out of dirt, mud, or burnt-out rough. It's been this way for years -- I played here three years ago and it looked the same. Nice fairways surrounded by lifeless terrain. The greens are extremely fast, which I'm fine with. I like quick greens. But one of the pin placements was an absolute joke -- the flag was placed right on top of a hill. Even PGA-level setups wouldn't put a pin in that spot. It felt more gimmicky than challenging. The cart paths are also in rough shape -- broken stone and rubble in several areas. It just adds to the overall worn-down feel of the course. To be fair, the staff is very nice and the pace of play was totally fine. No complaints there. But I'm genuinely surprised this course keeps getting so many glowing reviews. For around $30, Legacy Golf Club is honestly hard to beat. Considering the irrigation issues they've been dealing with, I thought the course was in good shape overall. The layout is fun, the pace was reasonable, and I'd definitely play here again. The greens had recently been aerated and were still covered in sand. To Legacy's credit, they were very transparent about that when I booked my tee time, so there were no surprises. The greens were extremely fast and unpredictable. You could hit a putt on a perfect line, then watch it catch a bump and shoot sideways like a rocket. That's just part of playing on freshly aerated greens, not a knock on the course itself. My biggest feedback is that I actually think Legacy is almost too affordable compared to other Vegas courses. When I looked around, most courses jumped from around $30 to well over $100. I'd happily pay another $10 or $20 if it meant a few extra amenities that would make the round more comfortable, especially during the summer. A few ideas: * More shaded waiting areas near tee boxes, especially on busy days. * Water bottle refill stations throughout the course. * Ball and club washers on the carts. * Better cart parking near some greens to reduce long uphill walks. * Optional portable fans that attach to the carts for a small rental fee. On a 100+ degree day, I'd absolutely pay a few extra dollars for one. Go make some extra money by renting those out! I wanted to stop by the clubhouse between nines to cool off for a minute and refill my water bottle, but my cart immediately started warning me to return to the course. I also didn't see a beverage cart or many convenient places to refill water. On a Vegas summer day, those little things make a big difference. Some of the greens also required parking the cart a fair distance away and walking up fairly steep hills. Early in the round that's no problem, but by the 17th or 18th hole, after several hours in the heat, it starts to wear on you. Overall, Legacy offers outstanding value. It's an easy recommendation for anyone looking for an affordable round in Las Vegas. With a few quality-of-life improvements, I honestly think it could compete with courses charging significantly more. And if you make it to the 18th hole without heat stroke, just remember... don't go toward the light. read more

Stay away from this place, it's an absolute rip off. There is trash all over the course and weeds up to your knees. We came from out of state and they failed to mention they punched the greens, there was so much sand it was like bunkers for greens. They couldn't have watered the fairways for probably a month before we got there as well. Charged us double per person and we didn't even find out until the cart guy said something. Place is a scam bad staff. Go somewhere you'll get your moneys worth. read more

I was nicely surprised by this golf club and will probably play here again on one of my future trips to the area. The staff is very good from the clubhouse to the starter. I managed to get a nicely discounted deal from the GolfNow website. I was paired with a older Japanese gentleman who was visiting from the windy city of Chicago with his wife and sister-in-law. I found a number of the holes to be challenging because of the way they were setup. The greens and fairways were in perfect condition though the greens were a little slower than expected. read more

The best part of the course was Brooklyn the bartender. She made some fl great drinks and was just fun to chat with. The course definitely has a lot of brown spots but they were open and honest about the watering issues. Although brown, can't say it really impacted the golf game. Went on 1/7/25. The course was pretty empty. Nobody in front of me or behind me so the pace was perfect and based on my play. I walked the course on this day and I know they don't typically have walkers here. The setup is not great for walking especially if it's a busy day. My round solo walking was around 3 hours. Again, I was walking and took a few breaks here and there. Conditions: great! Played here back in the summer and it wasn't pretty. I went in knowing the conditions weren't great and the rate reflected that. So that was fair. This time though, tee boxes were great, fairways were beautiful and the greens were immaculate. Staff: very friendly and approachable. From the pro shop, the starter, and the staff riding around maintaining the course. I will be adding this course to my regular rotation this year for sure! read more

This is by far one of the best local spots in this city. Everyone is warm and super friendly. I golf here and take my daughter her for breakfast. One of the highlights is Brooklyn (pictured with) absolute gem she is and has the best dimples ever. Very warm and fun. Come here golf and hang out you won't be disappointed. read more

I've been a semi regular customer here since 1996...Some years more than others....The positive progress this current team at Legacy GC has made is noticeable and appreciated. Customer Service at every touch point has improved and is A++. The golf course itself is also starting to show the results of the work and attention to past neglect. Keep up the good work ! We enjoy coming 2x a month for Trivia, the host , the wait staff , bartenders and cooks are all great. Starting my work experience in Service and 3 decades as a clinician the first impressions are important to feel welcome. This needs work in the Pro shop. The starters, marshalls, maintenance etc have all been positive when connecting with them. It appears that they are investing more time and energy to get this course in shape... it is getting there as reseeding is just beginning as of this writing.....has been in transition. It would be nice to have staff greeting you upon return to take your cart and clean your clubs...I have tip money to offer!! best to the group there. I nearly got into a fight with 4 senior citizens today when I called them out for driving their carts literally 10 feet from a hole. Par 3s are cart path only. JFC. They tell you this up front before you start playing your round. Greens were in decent shape, but the cart paths need repaving badly. Not worth the price, especially with people on the course who consider themselves white privileged racists. Never again. read more

This review is a month late, but still has to be written. First of all, there are many options of golf in the Vegas/Henderson area. This is also the city/area of customer service. Where visitors from all over the world come to visit and make memories. If each of those places can take a slice of what Legacy Gold Club does in customer service, there would be 5 star reviews everywhere. The story goes. There's 16 of us coming you to Vegas for a bachelor party. I've called up and down the area for prices and times. I got a lot of delayed responses, to crazy price points for the 16 of us to golf. It wasn't until, I called Legacy Golf Club, where within the first few minutes of the phone call, I knew this was where we were going to golf. Thanks to Chris in the pro shop for the top notch customer service for setting up our tournament 2 months prior, to the phone/email communications, and to the day of our arrival. 16 players, 9 sets of rentals, markers for closer to the pin and long drive were no issues for this track. The course conditions were great for what we needed. According to another traveling golfer we ran across who played a course a neighboring course the day before rhyming with Hali Bai, Legacy was in way better condition. Greens ran true, fairways were cut short for rollouts, first cut was manageable, and tee boxes weren't tattered up. The conditions didn't match all the YouTube reviews of this place. Found the course to be in very good condition. Fairways were nice and the greens were exceptional. Didn't stop there. Staff inside were phenomenal. Head golf pro Daniel took care of my group of 22 as if we were family. Gentlemen getting us carts and off on time were courteous and professional. Great experience from the get go. I replayed The Legacy yesterday. Oct. 20, 2025. It was in much better condition than the previous time I played. The greens were a little slow but once you got used to them, they were not too bad. Some of the bunkers had new sand in them making them much more playable. The Legacy has come a long way in making positive improvements to the course. They do however have some more work to do. I mentioned that I noticed some bunkers had new sand, there are also some that do not have new sand and need it. I also noticed one greenside bunker that had new sand, but unfortunately the sand was not distributed in the bunker properly. It had too much sand on the face of the bunker. Also, I did notice some greens that were a little patchy. Areas that are bare or thinned need to be plugged. Also, there are some areas in the rough that need some TLC. I do recommend that if you haven't played The Legacy in a while to give it a chance. read more

If you wanna get harassed, this is the place for you. Start of the day, asked if there was military discount. My dude at the front desk had to reiterate you're getting the best price "the resident", yes I get that. I was just asking a simple question. I've been living in Vegas for 8 years paying zero NV taxes. Thanks dawg, go America. (Trump memorabilia above the front desk) They got sweet devices that show what time and HOW long you've been playing. We get to the second hole and a marshal runs up to us and says "hey guys can you increase your pace of play. You guys are playing slow and we see about 10 min behind pace" we try to be nice and agree. OUR beautiful device says 4 min behind pace (We fact checking our data before confronting or making it up as we go. Or is it because we look different from the rest of the crowd, again go America.) The group behind us just pulled up to the tee box. Did they get a notice? Probably not. (It gets better) We come around after the 9th hole and get approached from the dude that had to reiterate the "NV resident" discount. Saying we have to increase pace of play or have to skip a hole. The man obviously bases decisions off of assumptions and not data. Because the group behind us was not hitting into us nor waiting to hit. We ended up being 3 holes ahead of the group as a 4 man with 2 people that were fairly new ending the round with a normal pace of play of 4 hrs 22 min. (It's a Tuesday) (Our group of 4 had my friends and my father that was visiting and wanted to hang with the boys) My recommendation, don't play there. Not once in my 7 years of playing have I had rude interaction with people with false data. If I have to pay the price this place offers compared to the other rates as a NV resident or not. I'm choosing elsewhere for half the price and better fairs and greens. Sorry Robert, but your kindness only can only cover for so many, not the entire experience. read more

As a local, I am pleased to share an unexpected Oasis. Turns out that Legacy Golf Club & Grill serves the BEST "club sandwich" I've had in years. I've designed many golf clubhouses in my career and always ask to try their club sandwich. So, I consider myself "experienced" ... LOL My BF John and I sat on the patio along with 80 other top insurance peeps who were finishing up a tournament. So, I was initially concerned about what the service would be like. To my dismay, both Paula and Brooklyn were attentive and kept our glasses FULL despite the tournament rush. Saturday at 4:45pm the food shack is closed!!!! They had a function and shut down right after that! Unacceptable! There are still golfers on the course and no cart girl. They say not bring your own beverages but what are you supposed to do when there's no one to cater to the golfers????? I always bring water. Now I'll remember to bring more since most golf courses "shut down" after late tee times. We paid $45 to putt on the surface of Pebble Beach. Absolutely horrible conditions. I know it's the middle of summer but rough hasn't been cut in weeks. I understand the rough is called rough for a reason, but it's all weeds, extremely inconsistent, spent a lot of time looking for golf balls. The fairways have weeds and dirt patches. Played Legacy today...HORRIBLE! Cart paths are so bumpy that my clip on fan snapped in half. No cart girl as well and no heads up. No one at the bag drop so walked my bag in (not a biggie) but the employees talking with each other and saw me looking for my cart. Put it on the wrong cart and go to practice and yells at me to come back and move carts. Lost 9 golf balls...half were hut into the rough and fairways. Never found them. Horrible golf experience here. Booked a tee time charged my card full price went to get the clubs on the cart and they were 30mins behind sending everyone out. No problem didn't have that much time to play in a packed course. I went in side asked for a refund and they advised after 15mins I was unable to have a refund. Didnt swing a club. Said I can have a rain check. Told me to call my bank and see what I can do for the refund. read more
