Having tooth extraction performed by Ms. Wan was one of the most brutal & traumatizing experiences…read moreI've ever had in a medical setting. In fact, after this experience, I will never seek help from any medical establishment. I'd rather die than ever be treated that way again by another medic whilst having any condition involving severe pain which is then trivialized & gaslit. The pre-op valium did not provide any aid. The nitrous had little effect, & the novacaine did next to nothing. For approximately two hours whilst under her knife & needles, I felt nearly everything! In fact, now *ALL I can feel is the sensation of being cut in my mouth, & my jaws being wrenched, over & over again.* I cannot sleep, i cannot eat(i can only sip cold liquids off the end of a spoon), & am in constant pain. Was told to take tylenol and ice. I've done this & followed all instructions religiously, with no effect on pain or swelling. Since it's now causing me kidney & stomach issues, I stopped the tylenol. Furthermore, this office seems to have some issues managing records. I signed a release for nitrous day of consult, after being told I must sign then because I cannot sign after taking the valium tablet. Well, move up to a few days before surgery, they call saying they have no record of me signing a release for nitrous. They send by email. It's promptly signed again, & returned via email. Skip forward to morning of surgery. I arrive having followed instructions to take the valium tablet. I'm brought into the room and asked to sign the same nitrous release form yet AGAIN --AFTER having taken the valium as instructed. I was originally told this was NOT LEGAL, to sign a release after taking valium. The two hours of torture after that & the unremitting pain since, live on in my day & nightmares.
