Curt with maintenance was dispatched to my apartment, he diagnosed the problem and determined an outside electrician and MidAmerican would have to be dispatched. While waiting for the outside vendors Curt not only kept me updated, put also brought 2 space heaters to my apartment (Since my mechanical closet was effected by the outage). MidAmerican and Baker electric arrived shortly after lunch and had the electricity on within an hour. I can't thank Curt enough for calling all the right people but also for his professional and caring attitude.

Rumely Lofts was a great place to live for 3 years! It's…read morelocation is 2nd to none! Right downtown, close to lots of entertainment, food options, and bars! Yep it is right on the train track so, the windows in your apartment are going to shake every time the train goes by, but it's also kinda fun! I lived on the 2nd floor facing north! We have huge windows and tall ceilings! But I have also been in other apartments and the windows were not as big as ours! We also had a bank vault door as one of our bathroom doors! We had a corner, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom! One of the major bummers of Rumely was our Washer and Dryer were always acting up and needed work all the time, which was a huge bummer! Usually they gave us a key to another apartment so we could do laundry, but it still stunk! I did love how they have a community room you could rent for free! We used it multiple times for parties, and once even rented it just to watch a show on Cable since that was something we did not have! The work out room has a few treadmills, free weights and a tv with cable! Cement floors, modern layout, and the staff was always pretty nice! One bummer is there is not set parking owned by the building for tenants so that stinks but you can get by usually paying a private place a monthly fee for under 50 bucks but walking groceries to your building kinda sucks! But all in all this was a great place to live and we got most of our deposit back even though I sprayed the wall with fake blood once for a music video!

Don't rent here. They used to be good, but now they are horrible. I used to enjoy living here, but…read morethey don't want to help you with anything anymore and they add fees and fees and fees. Fees for extra taxes now, fees if you live on the third floor, fees on top of renting a garage, fees if you actually get sunlight in your apartment. I don't get sunlight in my apartment at all and I really love to grow plants, but it is hard to keep them alive here. We just paid rent and now they added more charges. My heat went out in the winter and it took days for them to actually fix the problem. I called the office as an emergency and they told me not to call them, but instead fill out an order form for maintenance. They went in our garage without notice. They stopped changing the filters every 3 moths which is part of fees they add to your rent. They sent our Christmas packages back and said that their system showed that we already picked them up so there was nothing they could do. They didn't care or try to help resolve what happened. Found out through the post office it was the girl who said she didn't know what happened that had sent them back and signed the paperwork. I don't have to worry about parking because we have a garage, but now I've had to throw a lot of stuff away because there was mouse poop all over it. They have pest control which is a plus, but they don't do the garages so I also get a lot of spiders in the garage. Management changes all the time especially maintenance. I have lived here 3 years and after the first year their time here seems to get shorter and shorter. I haven't seen the same maintenance crew last more than 3 months at a time lately. These places look nice, but they are made cheap. Sometimes when the kids below us play the building shakes. The neighbors have told us they can hear everything my kids do too. The nice things are the kitchen cabinets have a ton of storage and the pool. The gym and the theatre room have so many rules now that most people don't use them anyway and you can't reserve the club house. It's not stocked anyway so you have to pack everything including cleaning supplies and utensils to have a party. The other nice thing is the locked building now that they finally fixed the lock. They also cool and heat the hallways and have an elevator. The hall in 6310 is too cold so get a bottom floor apartment so you can come in from outside when you go to the pool. The elevator has trapped people inside in that building too so have a plan and always keep your phone with you.
