First and Last Time Here This was my first time getting my nails done at Legacy. I'm from California, but a close friend recently moved to Georgia, so I'll be visiting often. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this salon. I received a gel manicure and a deluxe pedicure--over $100 worth of services--and left completely dissatisfied. The work was sloppy, the massages were rushed, and worst of all, the attitude of the techs was incredibly unprofessional. I was rushed to pick a color even though the salon was nearly empty and I was already seated. My toe polish has a noticeable dent and gap near the cuticle. A different technician started my manicure, and I clearly told him not to use the drill because my nails are thin and it causes them to break painfully low on the nail bed. I know my body and what works for me. Instead of respecting that, he gave me serious attitude and, along with the others, began speaking about me in Vietnamese right in front of me--something my friend also picked up on. To top it off, I asked for water, and while he did bring it, he placed it on the table and immediately grabbed my hand to begin the manicure. I struggled to open the bottle with my mouth for several minutes while he offered no assistance. When I finally spilled it on my dress and asked for help, he casually said, "Go ahead," and let go of my hand. I truly tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the entire experience left me feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. The work was subpar, and the attitudes were inexcusable. I spent $120 including the tip and walked away feeling mistreated. If I had read the reviews ahead of time, I would've saved myself the time and money. I hope the staff at Legacy reads this and realizes that poor customer service and sloppy work are damaging their business. Please do better. read more

I've been going to legacy nails for years and years. But, the guys (brothers) who work there are so unprofessional, I'm just not going back. It's so sad because I like my nail tech. But those boys talking about me in Vietnamese and laughing at me is something I've grown tired of. The last time I walked in, my nail tech wasn't there yet. I wasn't welcomed in and all I heard was loud laughter as I took my seat. It was so obvious they were laughing at me. When I looked at them, they both started starring at their phones, texting back and forth, laughing and glancing up at me. When my nail tech got there, after waiting for her for 10 minutes they became silent, (like school children do when the teacher walks by) and eventually they both got up and left. I did mention that I liked my nail tech, but she rushes on my pedicure and/or my manicure when another customer comes in. When I pay for a fancy pedicure and she cuts the time because she's more interested in her next customer, I feel unimportant. I spend around $400 a month there...I shouldn't ever feel unimportant. read more

I definitely let the reviews deter me from coming here the first time. My husband was the one who said "just try it out." I've been here twice - first for a pedi, then a gel mani. So far my gel mani looks better and has made it longer (only 60 hours in so far) than another "higher rated" spot I visited 2 weeks ago. I think I'll keep coming back because they always have time for me - just Friday I visited 3 spots before I came here. It fits my last minute, fluid schedule. I will not be coming back to this nail salon again . This is my second time coming to this nail salon, and from both experiences the nail stylist acted as if they didn't know how to do what I would recommend them to do so I'll always have to give them a different idea . I just went there for the second time yesterday and was not happy about my nails at all. I attempted to do the black French tips first as you can see in the picture which he did not paint the tips too well plus he didn't do the base of the French tips the way I wanted them so I asked if I could just get a color change of my tips to white and add on gems , which I can tell that he lowkey caught an attitude and tried to say it was too late to change them until he decided to change his mind all of a sudden , and as you can see in the picture he put tons of glue for the gems to where The glue has ran off onto my skin and completely dried and now it's hard to get off the access glue without the possibility of ripping the gems off of my nails . I went in to get a deluxe pedicure and manicure. I chose my polish and I was seated relatively quick. The water was adjusted to be warm and the massage chair was nice. The pedicure was nice although as more people arrived it began to feel rushed. The manicure was definitely rushed. It only lasted a few days. read more

I took my daughter (13) yesterday and she just needed her nails soaked off. I was very explicit that she wanted them soaked, not cut, and then shaped not clipped. Her own nails were pretty long under her acrylics. We sat down and they took nearly 30 minutes and sat 3 other walkins before I asked the owner if they were waiting on someone specific to soak her nails. He had already started soaking a mother-daughter duo (also getting dipped nails) ahead of her who came in after with no appointment. I think because we weren't getting an expensive service, he just didn't care about us. I started to tell her we were leaving...I just had a bad feeling and should have listened to my gut (we had a long talk about listening to yourself and speaking up after this), but he sat down at her table so I let him start. Her back was to me and before I knew it, he was done. He clipped all of her nails down to the quick to the point they were hurting her. Never soaked them. Didn't shape them. I didn't even know until we walked out because he sent her to wash her hands and told she was done...I made him repeat himself because I was confused how she could be done that fast. When we walked out she started crying and showed me. I went back in and told him (pretty loudly ) he did the exact opposite of what we asked and that her nails were cut to the quick. He started fumbling over his words and made up some excuse about the acetone not being good for her and that he said we asked him to cut them all off. His shop was packed and everyone knew I was angry. I don't normally make a scene like that but I was shaking mad. I was mad at myself for not paying better attention. The few times she's gotten her nails done I always sat right next to her or walked over every few minutes to check on be. I figured they were taking them off...how could they possibly mess this up?! And it happened so fast. I'm certain he acted this way on purpose because I called him out (nicely) for starting 3 other walkins ahead of us. I've disputed the charge with my bank and am reporting them to the board of cosmetology because my daughter told me that the previous customer's nail clippings were all over the used towel they had my daughter's hands sitting on. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't sanitize their instruments or pedicure basins. She's 13 and we've taught her to be respectful of adults so I think she just didn't feel comfortable speaking up. And I was RIGHT THERE. Ugh...so mad at myself! But I assumed they were going to be professional. I took her to the store after and spent $30 on nail repair formula, vitamins, and a nail buffer to get them back to a decent state. She felt much better after we did her nails. read more

The first time I came, I was pretty disgusted that I was worked on with a grainy dirty table with no towel. But the nails lasted so long! So I drove back to come a second time, because I can deal with something being annoying as long as the end product is good. However, last time I came will be the last. I was charged $50 for a fill in. The guy that did my nails was okay, didn't say much, which I can forgive, but he did a really bad job on my nails. They're really thick and rough on the ends. This place could be so much better if it had a better atmosphere, better customer service, had the prices on the wall, and consistent quality. Would not recommend. read more

I've gone to get a classic manicure twice in the past 2 weeks and they did a very nice job. The first time I went, it was VERY busy but they did a nice job and the salon was so quiet for how busy it was. I almost feel asleep when they were massaging my arms and hands. This was my first visit at this nail salon, and let me just say I am not a fan. From someone who's been to many salons and finally having time to relax after a long day of work. I was rushed, and felt very judged By everyone. I asked for a full set of nails do to wanting to quit my habit on biting my nails. I sat down and the full set took 20 minutes. if your someone who gets their nails done. it takes A solid 45 minutes too an hour to do quality nails. They are not even, crooked and thick. I got my nails done yesterday . I asked for airbrush design and he put on little paper hearts and then used clear polish to hold them on but before I even got home, the hearts were flaking of. Then I noticed the tips weren't fit appropriately, they also look like I already need a fill-in because he didn't bring the acrylic down enough. Then I brought my child in for a mani and pedi and they couldn't do it for her at the same time as I was getting my nails done (which would have been fine) BUT they continued to take people that came in after us because they would be paying more then a child mani/pedi. I live in Richmond Hill and thought it would be nice to frequent a spa near my home. After one visit at this nail spa, I will join my family in Savannah where the aesthetician did not treat me like an unwelcome house guest. My aesthetician never made eye contact and appeared to earn The Extra Effort Award for behaving as as this customer wasn't her choice. The young man who worked on my hand wasn't overly nice but not rude like the other. When they were done, the young man told me to wash my hands and then he walked away. The Pedicure Queen stood up and said: "You're Done!" Now keep in mind that they had set my purse behind the huge service chair and their table sat in front of it. I had to remove their cart to get my purse with no help. By now, I'm quite irritated. I have several thought in mind; none of it is pretty 1) Although my skin color was not so different from the aesthetician, I was the only African American customer being serviced. 2) I was the only customer wearing a mask 3) When I had to move carts to retrieve my purse, white customers and some aestheticians snickered. 4) Based on my treatment, I choose No. 1. This shop needs a lesson in customer service. I went the previous week before and had a fill in , so this past week I only needed a nail design because I had a formal event to attend. The short guy who does nail designs refused to do my nails. He basically said he does not feel like doing any designs. Never seen a shop that lets a customer walk out the door because they do not feel like doing a nail design. The short guy in the shop basically hates working there and it shows with his lackluster customer service and rudeness. The week I went to get a fill-in, the short guy in the shop basically argued with about my desired nail shape. I asked for oval her gave me something that was not oval. After walking out of another local nail salon that was overcrowded, warm and stuffy, we were pleasantly surprised to see 3 open seats at Legacy Nails. We got manicures and pedicures. My mom got the Deluxe Pedicure and we got regular spa pedicures. I loved how they filed down our calluses as part of the regular service. Many places charge extra for that. The warm towel wraps were a perfect way to end the leg massages. The chairs you sit in adjust to many comfort levels and feel great! I found the service to be wonderful! They were friendly and happily fixed my nail after I messed it up from being inpatient :) my sister and Mom got gel nails and I had a regular manicure. Both were great and they had a plethora of colors for selection in polish. This is the second time we have come here for wedding prep and pleased even on a really busy day. read more

went In for first time for polish remover and SNS dip powder. Young man nail tech cut 4 of my cuticles with one being really bad. It kept bleeding and he tried to stop it by using a paper towel and peroxide. I showed to manager Michael when leaving and he said I will only charge you $35!!! I'm pretty stunned as I write this. I went for a gel manicure and regular pedi. I got the gel mani while I was in the pedicure chair and had a separate operator working on my pedi. Halfway through my manicure the pedicurist stopped and shopped for lip gloss with a salesman that entered the salon. In fact she shopped so long my manicure was finished and the water was stone cold. When she returned I told her I didn't have time for a pedicure, my kids were waiting for me next door, we will have to do a polish change only. i came in and they started with my nails and when he started shaving my nails he ended up shaving my actually finger and when i told him it hurt he rolled his eyes and then he kept the shaver on my nail for a long time and it started to burn so i told him and he rolled his eyes once again, after he finished my nails 4 of them were bleeding so i moved on from it and then i got my eyebrows done and the guy that did my eyes brow got WAX IN MY HAIR!? and pretended he didn't. the whole time was miserable and overall i will not be going back. read more

I work near this nail salon so on my way home from work I thought I'd try it out. From the moment I walked in it was awful. If my nail wasn't broken I would have left then. The owner was the one that started my nails. She was incredibly rude and would slam my hand on the table and smack my other one to get my attention as if she was angry I was giving her business. She focused on everything else but my nails. She got up about 20 times to do other stuff. She also rushed through doing my nails that they ended up looking awful. Very unprofessional and dishonest!! The lady that does the lashes showed me pictures of the different types and different prices. I told her I wanted the $30 ones and she ended up giving me the $50 ones. I did not know until I went to checkout. I told the manager I asked for the $30 ones and the lady that did the lashes lied and said that there are no $30 ones and that the ones she showed me were all $50. Of course, the manger sided with her. In terms of my nails, I showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted and he said okay. Apparently, they did not have the materials to do the nails I wanted and he tried to remix them. When I told him again what I wanted, he started yelling at me, telling me I don't know what I want and asking other nail techs to help me figure it out. I was mortified and embarrassed. He was very rude, saying he had other customers to take care of, but everyone else was already being taken care of. I decided not to even let him finish my nails. 0/5: This business broke my Apple Watch. The nail tech touched my belongings without my consent and dropped my watch on the floor shattering the glass and screen. I come back a week later after an agreement with the staff that they will replace it when I bring in the receipt. She caused a scene when I came back with the receipt for $328.00. She had her sister on speaker phone with me and her and the nail tech both screaming at me while people are getting their nails done. She decided that she pretty much was Apple and only paid 150.00 for it. Scandalous business and they don't autoclave their equipment after each use. DO NOT GO HERE! read more
