I was told the service after was $90 I usually get my nails done at Nails 2000 and the cost for a pani/pedi gel is $70. I voiced my disdain for not being completely satisfied. I am giving Taylor five stars simply because she cleaned up someone else's mistake that caused the cut down of all my nails but most importantly she saved two out three I posted a review about the other nail shop and wished that I had a photo of how badly chipped the nail had became before she repaired it. Basically the other person filed it entirely too thin and gel is not supposed to chip. She asked why didn't I go back to allow them to fix their mistake? Oh no ma'am I thinks not. Drove from Fort Worth to get a few things from the auto zone. Stopped in to get a manicure and pedicure. Worst Pedicure I've ever had. My feet are still rough, the polish oh my toes is so uneven. It's so hot in there. They don't offer anything to drink. They only had one lady doing nails and all the others did a poor job doing pedicures. I am so glad I don't live in this area. In the Keller Fort Worth area they offer wine and other cocktails. Plus have a big staff who actually know what they are doing. Also they charge tax if you use a card. I went to this place with my sister and niece for pedicures. The atmosphere is nice and the people were nice. There are 2 reasons for this 2-star rating. First, my sister, niece and I all got the same pedicure. They started my niece's pedicure 15 minutes after ours and still managed to finish her at the same time. Second, there is a sign up front that says they only accept cash. That sign is right next to a sign that states they accept Visa, Mastercard & AMEX. We asked about the cash only sign when we came in and they said they would accept CashApp. We had our services performed and were getting the CashApp information so we could pay when we were told that we had to pay $2 extra for using CashApp. I could've gone to an ATM and withdrawn the cash before having the service performed if I had known. Most businesses are requesting non-cash payments in this COVID-19 era, but this business is not only requesting cash payment; it is penalizing customers for not having cash. If they are collecting $2 for every customer who uses CashApp, they have a nice side hustle going on. They collected at least $20 in CashApp fees while we were there, including our fees. I wouldn't have an issue with the fee if I had been made aware of it prior to getting my pedicure. read more

I won't be back. Mediocre service. No one could tell me how much my services were when I was done. The pedicure said $57 if gel was more I wasn't told. When I got to the register everyone starts running around like a chicken with there heads cut off. A female worker pulled out a calculator and told me $62. They charge you 8.25% to use your credit card. (smh) Then a male worker comes up and charges $67 total and no one could tell me what I paid for in English. Also she made my ingrown toenail bleed hope I don't get an infection. Needless to say I won't be back. Services need to be better. I like that they offer a $20 gel nail application. Of course that price does not include a full manicure, just the application of the gel and nail filling. The woman that did my nails was quick but efficient. My nails are showing no signs of wear after getting them done over a week ago. She took her time and was thorough. I also did not have to wait too long before getting service despite being a walk-in. They were attentive and helpful. I would suggest setting an appointment if you're coming during peak hour. Also, bring in a cash tip or ask them to add the tip prior to charging your card if you plan to tip. read more

Beautiful establishment--tastefully decorated and clean. Ms. Linda was my nail tech and although she is very pregnant, she worked it out! They use a product similar to NexGen and that's what I wanted. Linda listened to my request that the nails not be thick, humpy or overly squared and she delivered. I will be back. The clientele are lively, entertaining and I even got a glass of wine. Did I mention I'll be back? I would not recommend nor advise anyone go here. I saw bugs crawling on the floor which made me uneasy. Getting you nails done is supposed to be an relaxing experience. I went in for a pedicure on 10/08/16. The nail tech dug out pieces of my nail on each big toe and now there is puss coming out from under my cuticles. When I spoke to Kenny the manager he basically called me a liar and wants me to go back in to show him my toes. I was in Dallas seeing family and live 5.5 hours away. I offered to send photos by text message to him to see what they look like and he is totally unwilling to work with me. I saw them put in a customer right after another for a pedicure without sanitizing the basin. This place is dirty. I'm now on antibiotics for 10 days and got a shot of clindamycin (a strong antibiotic injection) and I missed work because I was unable to walk in closed toe shoes due to the pain. I'd give them less stars if I could. They also cut my sister's cuticle on her toe who was with me that day. read more

I had tried another place when I first moved here and my nails began falling off within a week but not these. I had to take them off because they were getting too long and I didn't have time to get in for a fill. So needless to say I highly recommend Taylor for gel nails. I have yet to find a decent nail salon in the desoto/cedar hill area. These asian salons don't give AF about service or quality in minority neighborhoods. We need to start supporting our black owned nail salons and stop going to Asian ones where they clearly don't care about providing quality service to their black customers. She said they charge for gel removal if i don't get gel again. Paying for the removal is the same as getting gel so it forced me to do it. She made faces and acted like she didn't hear me when i said i wanted the basic pedicure. I asked her to make my nails square and she made them round. I had to ask her twice to file them square. I also had to ask her to get my dry skin off my feet and file my callus down. There was nail polish on my nail beds and I had to ask her to remove the polish, clean up my nail and make it look neat. Pretty good. I enjoyed the basic pedicure service. They were very polite and accommodating. One recommendation I have is to add a note to their loyalty card about how to get $5.00 off. Currently the back of the card states: "We value our loyal customers, keep this card to receive $5.00 off after every visit to Legacy Nails & Spa." My daughter and I both got pedicures and she also received a manicure but they didn't stamp our loyalty cards because 1) children not included 2) the service has to be for both mani and pedi But the card doesn't state that. My only 2 concerns were they didn't offer me something to drink and they said they only take cash for gratuity. After coming here for sooo long and getting great nails. I am sad to say that this salon has not been the same. They jacked my nails up. John didn't take all of the previous dip powder off from the first time which as a result caused all my nails to start popping off after only 1 week. I go back for them to fix it and Taylor rushes to fix it while chopping all of my nails off leaving me with pretty much nubs. My nails literally have never been this short! First of all i was told that if the nails didn't last 3 weeks to come back and they would fix it for free. That was a lie! Had John just taken his time and actually soaked the previous dip powder off I wouldn't be in this situation anyway. I am thoroughly upset! So sad that i have to find an entirely new nail salon. I hate looking for new nail places but I just can't deal with a rushed job! Sophia is really good. I should have never let John do my nails. I have come to this location several times. The first 3 experience were great. Unfortunately the last two have been horrible. Each time I requested a polish change for my toes and nail overlay. There are only 2 people working and they tell me no one to do my nails. Then other customer come in and workers come out the back to service them. For the life of me I can't understand why they feel it is ok to do this. Don't go here. They forget what you want and that you are even there in their establishment. I love the location and the decor but it doesn't make up for the horrible service. There are never enough nail techs here. Nobody is EVER ON TIME. I'm here on a Saturday and there are 15 ppl waiting 4 pedicure techs and two nail techs that didn't walk in the door until 30mins after opening. They do not have a system here. I've had to wait 2hours for a eyebrow wax that takes 5mins because there were 3 ppl in front of me getting full sets... stupidest shit ever. I came for a nail repair and was one of the first 3 ppl here. Me and a lady finished our pedicures at the same time and she was after me but I had to wait an hour after she got her full set to fix ONE BROKEN NAIL. Nothing about how they work is professional. The owner has let all of her workers off at one time because of a Chinese holiday. Line long and she was the only one doing nails including taking her lunch break. Lastly, they were doing Facebook videos of the nails and telling customers we had to be quiet and could answer our phones because of their videos and we did not get anyways as an incentive for a longer process because they are giving instructions on video and taking photos when people have other things to do! I was referred to this location by a close friend of mine and was recommended to a particular nail technician. I was very pleased with her work and also found another nail technician that I liked as well. But then I ran into the problem of when I asked for one or the other technician to do my nails, I was asked if someone else could do my nails. After this happened several more times. I made it clear at that time that I only want one of these two people to do my nails and if I have to wait, I would do that. I was also becoming concerned that the price for my nails would change and increase each time and I would get the same thing done that I had done previously. There are no prices listed for nail options. On 10/05/2018 I went to Legacy Nail salon to get my nails done, there was one technician that was doing another lady nails and one other person sitting in the chair with no one working on her nails at that time. One person was getting a pedicure and there was no other patrons getting there nails done. I found it odd that on a Friday the salon was not busy. But I didn't normally go on Friday's. The two people that I normally let do my nails were available to do nails but I was asked once again if someone else could do my nails. One of the nail technicians is the manager at the nail shop and she told me that she was busy doing things in the back and did not have time to do my nails and also said the other technician was unavailable as well but I can get a pedicure done first. I didn't ask for a pedicure. I kindly told the manager I will not be back to there establishment. read more

I like the service! My nail girl was Sophia. She did my pedi and Jon did my mani. I really liked both. Now I do have to say I got there at 5:40 and they close at 5:00 and they still attended me. However I waited over an hour because they were busy. But even at that, nobody rushed to finish their customers to try to hurry and leave. I got very good service. The only thing is that I wasn't offered the pedi menu which I'm sure it was because it was way passed closing time. I will definitely be back but will make an appointment. read more
