It has taken me over a year and a half to make this review because I hate leaving bad reviews but after that year and a half, I have to speak up. I got a pedicure done at this salon for the first and last time. The elderly woman that did my pedicure, cut down the side of my toe nail so far that it has caused an ingrown toe nail. I've been dealing with it now for a year and a half. It's been infected, swollen, red, hot, etc. and I have not had an ingrown toe nail since I was 12... I'm 25... During the appointment, it hurt and I told her so, pulled away, AND it was bleeding. I will be going to the podiatrist soon to finally have it fixed which is going to cause me to spend $500+??? Just for a pedicure. It is illegal for nail salons to clip toe nails down the sides and dig into the corners the way she did. I hope no one else has ever experienced this and I hope in the year and a half since I've been here, this lady has retired. read more

This is the worst acrylic gel set and pedicure I've ever had. Pedicure was a complete mess. Part of my toe was completely missing polish. My cuticles looked dry. Gel polish on my hands are flooding the cuticle area. I got a fill acrylic set two weeks before coming here and the tech said I'd need a new one soon. Already?! I had one set for nearly a year before needing a new one. I don't think they know what they're doing here. Really friendly people working here but they don't do good work. What a shame. read more

She received a staff infection and the gel polish started peeling off the very next day. I paid for our services with my MasterCard of $155.86. After checking my bank statement they charged $185.86 and I did not authorize an additional $30 for the services. This is considered stealing. The salon was dirty. I had my ups and downs with this nail salon I've been going there for 3 months straight every 2 weeks I go but this last time was the last straw the woman that does nails towards the front of the store by the register totally messed up my nails and I got the set that cost $60 bucks it was horrible bubbles in my nails on the side uneven I was in a rush so didn't inspect them but when I got the chance I wasn't impressed at all how ever the black girl that works there did a amazing job on my toes french manicure so if you do go just don't deal with the women by the register horrible read more

I made an appointment around 11am to come in at 4pm on the Saturday before Memorial Day. I'm new to the area and this is my second try at a good salon. It was a fail. I waited a half hour before they got me to a chair, and the guy was trying to work between my pedicure and another woman's manicure (who was just a walk in). Why bother with an appointment, even though their website encourages it. But I would have forgiven the wait if he would have done a nice job. He rushed through ... until I told him that I was looking for a place to get my nails done on the regular. He was then fake enthusiastic and barely tried harder on my nails. Didn't attempt to assist with my slight ingrown toe nail either, said it was fine. And the manicure was probably one of the worst I have ever gotten. Messy- see attached pictures. I think he was the owner too. His wife works there and his two girls greeted people at the register. I'm just very disappointed. I still tipped $15, and spent $90 for a shotty job. This has been my go to salon for almost two years. They always take great care and it's rare that you have to wait long...unless it's close to a holiday. Awful! Do not waste your money. The wait time was over an hour, they had 3 techs working. I didn't mind that part. The lady did a piss poor job on the pedicure. My big toenail was cut crooked and a couple of the nails weren't fully polished. The older man who did the manicure stopped in the middle to make a phone call. The actual polish was terrible, I had to ask for oil on my cuticles and there was no hand massage at all. I had a not so good experience a year ago and thought I'd give them another chance. This is my go to salon! They keep my nails looking perfect and the customer service is top notch! Anything I ask for they can create, and I ask for a lot sometimes! They have made my nails look great for years and I will always come back! When I once wrecked a nail, completely my own fault, I called and was told I could come back and have it fixed! I was so happy since I had an event and wanted my nails to be perfect! They fixed the nail at no extra charge and it just made my day! I'm huge on valuing how a business treats someone and they have become my favorite salon after that wonderful experience! Staff was nice during the service but the nail work I received I noticed the day after service how lumpy and off colored my nails looks and how the shape doesn't look good at all is horrible two nails broke on the same hand in the same day due to the uneven acrylic powder layers I'm guessing one more looks like it's going to brake also I see a crack on the side of my nails .They seemed cool at first I guess I didn't really notice but totally embarrassing I called next day talk to a male I expressed my concerns asked for a refund he said come in for redo service but at this point I don't want that to run into the same issue no thanks. Upon walking in for the first time I was immediately greeted by a young lady. I felt very welcome walking in. I was directed where to sit and had a guy named Kevin doing my nails right away. He offered me the gel nail polish which I declined and he was very quick and pleasant striking up conversation with me as well. I came in for a manicure and it was only $15. Prices very reasonable. The salon was also very clean. I noticed as Kevin was doing my nails when using instruments he pulled them out of a sealed sterilized envelope. No wait longer than 5 minutes. Every staff was working. The best part is, they spoke English most of the time in front of us.I never have a problem when they speak their native language but it was nice that everyone heard their inside jokes. When I arrived, I had never been there before so I didn't know the flow of the place. I felt very out of place. My pedicure was nothing special, did not include any work on smoothing my feet or lotioning my legs. My polish looked as though I did it at home and after two days it started chipping off. My polish was completely gone within a week of my pedicure, and I had not done anything to warrant that kind of chipping. I feel like I paid too much for that kind of quality. I'm a little surprised this place is so poorly rated. Went today without an appointment because my usual place had an hour wait. I was hesitant based on reviews, but decided to check it out. I waited only 20 minutes for someone to start my nails. I already had on what I would consider a well done set of gel nails. "Kevin" took this good set and made them fantastic. He was friendly, fast and professional. Most importantly, it's a gorgeous manicure. No, it's not the neatest place, but it's not dirty. The emphasis is clearly on the work and not the atmosphere. I live 45mins outside of this area. I came across this salon while in the Cuyahoga Falls area. I will never return. I left bleeding and with prior polish still on my toes. I ask the young lady to stop, I informed the owner and tech this was the worst pedicure I've received in my life. Keep in mind my feet are in terrific shape, I often ask how I keep them so soft and well maintained. I travel the country and have never had such horrific treatment. I went into this place to get my nails done, it wasn't the first time I had been there. The woman who did my nails watched TV the entire time and was constantly looking up and talking to other employees. My nails are crooked, uneven in length, and look like it's been three weeks since I had them done and it's been a little over one. I called exactly one week after I got my nails done and spoke to a man named Lou about getting them fixed because one had randomly fallen off and they were all chipping around the edges. After going in like he had asked me to, the nail that had fallen off was replaced and I was told to come back for my fill the upcoming week. It's now Monday, of that week, and I've just gotten off the phone with a woman at the salon who says I'm not telling the truth and they will not fix my nails. I tried to explain again and was interrupted by here saying "mhm, sure, yeah, yeah, sure". This place has awful service and does not do good work at all. I would not recommend to anybody. read more

This is my favorite place in the area for getting a pedicure. I've tried other places in the area, but they did not do nearly as good of a job as Legacy Nails. The massage chairs that one sits in during the pedicures are relaxing. The pedicure includes an exfoliate scrub, warm towels to the legs and feet, and lotion to the legs and feet in addition to the customary items of a pedicure. I went in there today because my normal spot was jammed. Never again. I even told the girl I was in for the first time, but just to get a fill. She didn't even speak to me. She filed my nails down to nothing. Couldn't even file them evenly so I had to file them myself. She filed them so hard and so fast, never even asked me if I liked the first one she did. She was awful. I learned my lesson for sure. Stick with the people that take care of you, even if you are in a rush. I shouldn't have tipped her a dime, but I've been in the service industry for so long that's not my style. Terrible terrible place. My first and only time there I went in for a pedi and gel manicure. Not only was the old man nasty and rude that did it but my nails chipped and peeled one day later and I have strange red bumps and soreness on my toes and an appointment to see my doctor. I called for a refund and was told they would only just redo them-as if I would ever go back to that nasty shop. The health department needs to definitely check them out!! I was traveling nearby and was looking for a nail place on a Sunday, so options were limited. All I came in for was an acrylic fill in for my "pink and white" nails. All it required was a light pink acrylic fill in, no touch up to the white. The man was so unfriendly, even after I tried to be nice and tell him politely what I wanted since it was my first time there. He did such a crappy job, said no words to me, and rushed me out the door. An acrylic fill in with one coat of clear gel on top, come on! How hard is that? I walked out with lumps and bubbles in my nails, the edges of which are still sticky...I don't even think he is a licensed professional. If you're thinking of going here, DON'T DO IT! I went to this location for about 1 1/2 years. I am not extremely picky, so if I didn't like my nails a particular time I knew I would have them redone in a few weeks. However, yesterday I was treated so unbelievably rude by one of the employees there. When I asked about different options, his response was "you'll just need to make up your mind so I can get started." I also asked if he could use the drill to make them thinner. He stopped what he was doing, and began berating me for not telling him sooner and asking why I didn't (it certainly was NOT too late, I had asked this question other times to other technicians with no issues). He continued to angrily explain that I didn't ask him in the appropriate time and that now he would not do anything. He then gave me the most horrible manicure, no filing of my nails leaving them wide and uneven, and extremely THICK french manicure. I said nothing more to him for fear of continuing to be on the receiving end of his anger, but I complained at the end. I was not offered any type of discount on a very bad manicure. I went to another shop immediately that struggled to fix what had been done, almost recommending I start over. It was an AWFUL experience and I am very disappointed. read more
