Not only did the owner provide me with an extraordinary amount of his time, he sent someone the next morning to handle the immediate concern. In so doing, they suggested I have the tank pumped and again stayed in close contact with me to get this scheduled. Their office staff is very professional and provided high touch quality service. Like to take a moment to thank the folks at Legacy for the superior service and repair. I spoke with Megan several times for scheduling and explanations of service and required system repairs. Very appreciative of her professionalism, kindness, patience and detailed descriptions of what was needed and the resulting positive differences. As the front line to customers Legacy could not have anyone better representing you than Megan. Rob performed our service with a very positive attitude despite challenges our aging system and access presented. His kindness as he wrestled hundreds of pounds of concrete with broken handles was remarkable. He was quick and efficient and one hundred percent accurate in his diagnosis of what needed to be done to update the system. Legacy is lucky to have such a dedicated and kind employee. Matt and the crew tackling the system update were fantastic as well. Fast, efficient and super neat. When I saw the heavy machinery and parts required for the job, I thought I'd face months of cleanup. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and of the highest integrity. They not only inspected the septic (which failed - due to tree roots) but were quick to help us resolve every need to meet our home buying inspections. The plans we received from the County (dating back 44 years) had the septic drawn on the wrong side of the house - but Legacy found it. Even though I have been a very needy customer on a holiday week - they treated me like gold and went out of their way to help me. After having been treated so well, I wouldn't dream of using anyone else to replace the septic system! I read the other review listed and can't figure out what they were talking about. Yes, their price was a little higher; however, if you actually compare the inspection you get from the different companies in our county the price difference is because they do a completely different job. One company does not pump the tank before inspection - Legacy does. Legacy actually follows the State recommendations for how to complete the inspection. Their competitor does not. So, 'you get what you pay for' applies. Do you want to really know what you're dealing with or just have a signed piece of paper for the bank? We actually wanted to know what we were buying. Quite honestly, they just saved us $20,000-30,000 off our purchase price because of the septic. They were even able to make some unrelated suggestions which ended up saving my family more $$$$$'s. This company charged a few hundred dollars for the inspection but saved us thousands of dollars and headaches too. read more

We can't say enough great things about this company! From the owner and his wife to the front line crew, this is by far some of the best, most personable service we have had from anyone! We had the unfortunate luck to have our septic system fail on us. We had a different company when it happened who recommended a whole new system with out any diagnostic at all. We were very uncomfortable with that and decided to seak a second opinion. Based on the reviews, we called Legacy. George was very thorough and knowledgeable in his approach toward an accurate diagnosis. He suggested digging up the area where we found saturation and seeing if there was a leak or something broken that could be an easy fix, before moving forward with an entire system replacement. Additionally, he had the county scheduled an hour later with a perc test in case we found worst case scenario. Just so happens we did find worse case and we were there to see the failed system for ourselves when they dug it up. Therefore we knew for sure that what we were being told was accurate and an honest assessment of our situation. They were swift in getting everything lined up for the installation and getting us back up and running! Their pricing was more than fair and their crew was amazing! Ernesto, Francisco and Rob are experts at their trade and did flawless work. Galen was our point of contact for the job and was professional and on top of everything! Do NOT use Legacy Septic & Excavation for Inspection. They are unprofessional, poorly run, and use shady business practices. I only used this company because they could fit us in quickly - rescheduled 4 times, then couldn't find what they needed so left and gave an incomplete Inspection. When I tried to get them to go back and complete the inspection they wanted at least $150, but as much as $1000 may be charged. In the end I just paid them to stop the madness, it turns out the inspection price is twice their competitors' price. read more

They came and emptied the septic tank within a week of when I called and I didn't have to be here or anything. I just get an email the day after they left with useful information about the measurements they took, and they keep everything on file for future sale of the home. Not much more you could ask for.
