He was incredibly patient with the boys (even when they were endlessly splashing him) nand really knew how to engage them and keep them comfortable while learning. He was also really funny, and the kids absolutely loved him and looked forward to their swim lessons! He made the lessons fun while still teaching them a lot. With our 6 year old, he helped her build on the skills she already had, refine her technique, and learn new strokes. He did a great job adjusting the lessons to each child's age and ability. Diego was also always on time, easy to communicate with, and great about answering all of our questions. We always felt like we knew how the kids were doing and what they were working on. The kids made huge progress and really took leaps and bounds with their swimming in just six lessons. We were so impressed with how much they improved and how much more confident they became in the water. Diego was patient, encouraging, knowledgeable, and genuinely great with the kids. You can see inside the pool through the glass windows. They have individual stalls to change the kids clothes. Overall the facility is clean. Plenty of parking outside. The prices are about the same as everywhere in san diego, give or take $10-15 more or less. If you subscribe to their yearly plan it is cheaper of course compared to monthly. The only downside for us is that theyre not that aggressive or firm in teaching the kids. My kid can swim by kicking his legs without using the pool noodle but they still have him hanging on to it. I am afraid he might regress. Lets see how long they will make him use it. Been there 2 times so far. Another downside is some kids are huge, taking up so much space in a small lane. My kid was with 2 really big kids and barely have any space to even stand with total of 4 kids in 1 lane. They can definitely move them around or swap with another coach. My kid learned to swim from being scared of water to being able to jump into the pool and kick water to the ledge for safety in 11 days with a private coach. So hopefully he doesnt regress with these slow lessons.

It's a club like setting with loud popular music and songs you can sing along to.. You have to know how to swim, it's not a life vest it's a foam waist belt that you fasten around your waist. Wear a hat, optional to wear a rash guard or water sun shade long sleeves if you don't want t to get a tan and wear a one suit as some exercises can loosen oversized or stretched out swimwear.
