After contacting their on-site management team to inform them that my 3 yr old and 4 month old frenchies had pneumonia and tested positive for coronavirus immediately following their visit to their facility, They tried to blame it on my dogs receiving faulty vaccinations that failed them. No accountability, no suggestion of a refund and a blanket "sometimes that happens when they socialize with other dogs". My dogs are socialized and have been to other facilities! 100% blame on a vaccine that my 3 year old has been receiving from the same vet for 3 years! And he was the sickest out of the 2. For a place that's supposed to care for and love animals I was appalled at their lack of care or concern for mine. It was instant blame on their vaccines. A direct quote from Wag Atlanta "we recommend reaching out to the manufacturer of the Bordetella vaccine Prince and Cassius received to let them know that their vaccine failed. Vaccine manufacturers will often cover the medical expenses on a failed vaccine"! This is absurd !! No Cheyenne they got sick from your establishment. If you want to spend over $500 boarding your fur babies and another $2500 in Vet bills after you pick them up.... Then this is the place for you! Shameful.

Instead of calling and inquiring about our whereabouts politely, we received a harsh and demanding call from Dr. Bocksted himself demanding that we return to the facility immediately. Apparently, his staff member said that it was the 'vibe' we gave off that indicated that we intended to abandon our pet (was it the fact that my girlfriend is a person of color?). Don't bother visiting this facility. The team is knowledgeable but have no social intelligence. A veterinarian is someone who you build a relationship with and must see often, so choose wisely.

Allied Animal Healthcare is the reason my dog died. After treating my dog regularly since he was 2…read moremonths old, today, after a 20-minute walk, I noticed that my Cane Corso wasn't walking on his back legs. I brought him inside and waited 10 minutes, but then I noticed he was panting strangely. I picked him up and rushed him (safely) through school-release traffic, arriving at the vet in 8 minutes since they are very close to me. When I arrived, I rushed inside and told them my dog was having serious issues. There were four people inside: the regular veterinarian who prescribes my dog's medication and three front desk staff. There were also no other pets in the clinic at the time. Without hesitation, one of the front desk ladies handed me a card and told me I needed to take him to the emergency vet. I went to my car but then thought about it and went back inside to ask if anyone could look at my dog because he looked like he was dying (my exact words), and the emergency vet was 30 minutes away. Without hesitation, she said they couldn't do anything and sent me on my way as the rest of the staff walked to the back. Frantically, I drove 20 minutes to the emergency vet, using my hazard lights and periodically patting my dog, looking into his eyes, and telling him he would be okay. Sadly, when I arrived at the ER, they pronounced him dead due to a blood clot caused by the heat. They also agreed that Allied should have at least checked my dog to see if there was anything they could do. It's a heartbreaking day, and I would never recommend this place. Their medication is overpriced, and they do the bare minimum.

Lifeline provides an awesome service, not only to those of us who are out trapping ferals and strays, but also for those who don't have the cash to neuter, vaccinate, or get other treatments for their pets as well as nonprofits who utilize Lifeline's array of services. I called Lifeline on a Monday and they instructed me on the proper way to trap and provided tons of detailed instructions and even sent me several emails answering all of my questions. They were awesome and efficient the morning I brought my 3 ferals in, called me when they were ready, and helped me out to my car with all 3. I seriously cannot express how amazing Lifeline is and if you don't have a pet, or you don't need to utilize their services, please consider donating to this great organization!!

I've supported this clinic before and brought seven cats here two years ago to be spayed and neutered -- a mother cat and her six kittens I rescued. I've always appreciated Lifeline's mission and affordable services that help people like me care for and fix stray or rescued cats. However, during my recent visit, I was met with an unfriendly and unhelpful representative at the front desk. She was a Spanish woman with mahogany or reddish-colored hair (unfortunately I didn't get her name). I arrived just after 9 a.m. with a newly rescued cat whose previous owner abandoned him, and I simply wanted to confirm whether he was neutered. Instead of showing any empathy or trying to help, she curtly told me to drive to another location an hour away because "they only do spays and neuters." When I explained that I'd been a prior client and only needed confirmation from a vet, she said drop-off ended at 9:00 and that with only one doctor they couldn't see him -- though she admitted if there were two doctors, they might've been able to. Her tone and attitude made it clear she didn't care to assist or even check for a small accommodation, despite my past support of the clinic. She eventually offered me an appointment for December 9th -- more than a month away -- which felt dismissive given the situation. I left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. I know what great customer service looks like, and unfortunately this was not it. I still believe in Lifeline's overall mission, but I hope management provides better training to their front desk staff -- compassion and kindness should always be part of animal rescue work.
