Went to this store to ask about a specific wine and champagne to purchase as a gift. The associate informed me that they did not have the items and if they did it would be over $600.00. I never asked about the price and I think it was very rude for the associate to tell me the price of something without me asking. I'm not sure what the intentions were but I feel Customer Service Training maybe warranted as well as a lesson in sensitivity. read more

Super selection of hard to find TOP SHELF, spirits, "Monkey 47" gin. Good price I think it was 80-90 dollars a liter.

Just got to check this place out for their "soft opening" a few days ago - and man, they've decked the halls already! The building itself is beautiful, with glass chandeliers, a high ceiling, ultra-modern decor, and absolutely top-of-the-line chilling wine taps, checkout lanes, the works. They even have a tablet set up specifically for finding your ideal beer - you can search by type, name, brewery, and see whether it's in stock or not, very handy. On that note, they have taps/tastings for both wine and beer, even a fancy refrigerated tap to keep the wine fresh. They even want to do live wine classes, where the owner will be at a vineyard with a wine-maker, and they'll live-cast it on the big TV over the bar. I'm curious to see how those turn out. They also have beer pros on staff, Sommeliers are wine-tasting pros, and the beer equivalent (I learned today) is called a "Cicerone." The only two certified Cicerone's in Arkansas both work here, so their beer selection is truly awesome! I grilled one of these guys for a while on my visit, and walked away really, really impressed. But, at the end of the day, this is a liquor store, so how do they stack up? Selection - Excellent. There are only two things I couldn't find from my extensive checklist, and they knew both of them right away and knew that you couldn't get either in Arkansas at all. They also have the best of the best, the budget picks, and a huge range in between. Top Marks. Price - Comparable. Despite being a super high-end store, I didn't find anything priced higher than other shops, and found some screamin' deals on some of my favorite stuff. Service - I was very impressed here, folks were very eager to help out and answer questions, and I saw one checkout clerk run across the store just to help a customer to their car. Also, they have shopping carts, which Is something I haven't seen in many other places, and very handy when you need 'em. Location - It's way out in West LR, but it's easy to get in and out of once you're there. The parking is awesome, which is a plus, so it's arguably worth the trip if you're not close by. Uniqueness - What makes them stand out? Well, all the categories above, but also the design of the space, the feel of it, the huge, huge selection and the awesome staff really made my visit a stand-out experience. Did I mention that they have a lounge, complete with cushy chairs and a fireplace? Or that 10% of proceeds on opening night went to the AR Art Center? All in all, definitely a spot I would recommend to re-stock your liquor cabinet, find ingredients for a high-end cocktail, or load up for that weekend lake trip ;) read more

This was my first visit to Legacy. I was impressed with the size of the store and quantity of items available. Although I was looking for beer, I glanced at the interior of the store and saw a vast selection of wine that is available. A gentlemen near the beer taps welcomed me and helped me find what I was looking for and offered me a sample of another selection on draft. I thanked him and took my purchases to the counter. I assume that the lady who checked me out gets paid partially from company payroll and partially in store rewards. I noticed that rather than ask if I was a rewards member and encourage me to enroll she simply swiped what I assumed was her rewards card during the transaction. No sense in returning and rewarding an employee for my loyalty. read more

Last summer I stopped in this store. I agree with one of the other posters that this store is nice. It is super nice. Organized. Not a spec of dust. Shelves stocked in a very aesthetically pleasing way. Everything about the store indicated that I was about to pay a pretty penny. The only thing I didn't like was that I was not acknowledged when entering the store. Granted, the folks seemed to be engaged with another customer -- still didn't like it. Spacious, high end feel, well stocked, definitely been waiting for this place to open...and so close to home it's an easy stop! Definitely one of the top liquor stores in Little Rock...if not the best. Wine sections divided out by regions and countries, excellent atmosphere, great wine & beer tasting bar (yet to try). Ample staff onsite and they were very helpful and knowledgeable about different wines and regions. I definitely tested the knowledge of the associates and they were pretty spot on with recommendations. Pricing is in-line with other locations and even better on some wines I normally purchase. The variability in the beer serves is unbelievable. Some are knowledge and friendly and others refuse to even let you try they tap beers and insist you spend $32.00 on a growler just to try the beer. Give me a break. The whole idea before spending the type of money they charge for beer is to know if you would like it. The attitude of some of these guys is unappreciated and unacceptable. The only reason this place is not getting 5 stars is because of customer service (I got hung up on twice). The store is absolutely breathtaking though. The staff is very friendly. This is the one of the nicest liquor stores that I have been too. It has a large quantity of wines, liquors, beer and many gift items. Some of the beers can be tasted on tap in the store. Very clean & the knowledgeable staff are friendly and will even carry your items to your car for you. Prices are competitive to other liquor stores in the area. read more
