Every time I went to a different row or section of the store, an employee greeted me and offered to help, and providing superb recommendations or directions to the next thing on my list. I had my very first automobile accident back in 2019 right in front of this establishment and had to pull over into the parking lot. As myself and the other victim were discussing the sequence of events with the police officer, we had an unpleasant visit with an employee of the liquor store. Instead of making sure that everyone was okay, he started yelling at us because having a police officer in front of the building was "bad for his business". He came out multiple times and tried to force us to move into another parking lot. This to me is not customer service that I would like to give my business to. I will never step foot in this liquor store nor would I recommend it to anyone who I associate with.

Once you've seen a dozen or so, you realize that they pretty much all have something of what you're looking for most of the time. But, once in a while, you find one that's truly exceptional, and Popatup is absolutely one of those. They have a drive-through, handy, but they also have a climate-controlled room dedicated to wine storage (!!), and massive selection of beer, wine, and liquor (a good selection of all three is fairly unusual) and some absolutely *off the HOOK* sales! That last is a big one, sales are rare in liquor stores at the best of times, but regular, reliable discounts on rotating inventory? Brilliant! If I were making a rough comparison, I'd say they one of the better stores for everything liquor-related in Little Rock, second only perhaps to Legacy. And their beer selection falls a little behind Colonial. Still, for the relatively central location, deals, and a really, REALLY great wine selection (and did I mention the sales?) Popatop definitely stands out. They also get bonus points for a particularly friendly and attentive staff inside the store! It is in a slightly rough part of town, S University a good bit South of 630, so be aware when going for that late-night run ;) Oh! Speaking of! This year Ashley greeted me twice, by name, as I walked towards the back of the store to tell me that the products I inquired about were stocked!!! Now that is customer service! Didn't have to drive all over town looking for specific seasonal alcohol. I asked if it was possible and they delivered! Phenomenal store with lots of variety and I pass it daily headed home. This will always be MY FAVORITE SHOP for alcohol. And don't be afraid to ask if they can order something, it has happened twice for me. The two items I asked for is Jamison Cold Brew whiskey and Smirnoff Red White and Merry vodka, both are great for this time of the year. I am my grandmother's only family left and I watch over her like a hawk. She is the life of the…read moreparty and has already been kicked out of 2 senior living homes so I am fully in charge of her. I love it!  I have trouble keeping up with her sometimes. The humidity here in Arkansas is so different from where we live. We instantly start to sweat. My grandmother told me something super weird that I had never heard her say befor. She said that her armpits started to smell like bacon. She worked in a military M.A.S.H. unit so she knows a little something. She said when the bacteria breaks down the sweat they form products called thioalcohols, which have scents comparable to sulfur, onions or meat.  She told me the only cure for that is to drink alcohol. So we went in to Little Rock to purchase a couple bottles of wine.  If they had her brand of tequila I would have purchased a bottle of that too. Party on. I found one of the best liquor stores that would rival anything we have in Las Vegas. The staff is super friendly, the people working behind the counter are unbelievably knowledgeable and they all acted like board firemen ready to help you with anything.  I hate when I find great locations like this so far from where I live because now I pass judgment on the liquor stores by our house. This liquor store, Sullivant's, has a great selection of different wines from International winery's. My grandmother will primarily drink red wine from Portugal and tequila from Jalisco.  I found a red wine that was very acceptable to my grandmother.  My grandmother definitely got her pre party on and I had to remotely drive her wheelchair because I do not think she could have stayed on the sidewalk. Is my grandmother an alcoholic? I don't care at her age what difference does it make. She is consuming life and enjoying every moment of it. She talks about not wanting to be in a senior citizen center playing bingo and arguing with Dorothy about blankets. She wants to be out in the world eating, drinking and watching the sunset from some remote location.  Sullivan's liquor store was the perfect place to pick up several bottles of wine for my grandmother. I wish I would have more time to go through there because the photos I took looks like they have a wonderful selection. I didn't even have a chance to get over to their huge refrigerator of beer's. Solivant's liquor store if you had a location in Las Vegas you would definitely rival the competition. Your customer service was on point and I could have stayed talking longer if I had only left the air conditioner on in the car. Keep up the great work and glad you guys are providing a wonderful service to the community and my grandmother.

This store is one of the newer ones in town, and does have a place in the local scene. The wife in particular is a regular here, because it's the only place she's been able to find "The Franc," one of her favorite wines :) Decent beer selection in both volume and variety, and surprisingly convenient to drive in-out of, even on the ever-busy Cantrell road.

As I looked through the store I noticed it was common for some bottles to have a 300% mark up from MSRP, or even secondary. Absolutely INSANE!! When I asked about the crazy mark up I was told "we do not set the prices " Which is a lie. The liquor store 1/2 a block away is more friendly, and has respectable prices. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Although the new location is considerably smaller than the old one, it's carefully stocked so that it too more of a loss in volume than selection. The beer selection also stood out, I found exactly what I was looking for, and for decent prices. We came in specifically stocking up for a holiday party, so let me recommend the pre-mixed Evan Williams Eggnog which really hit the spot for me, and was very popular with guests ;)

I also heard them on the phone once advising a caller on what the best deal was for buying beer for their event. I like when a small business would rather give a better deal and retain a client than make the quick buck. They have a good sized wine selection and from what it sounds like it turns over a lot and they'll get in anything you ask for.
