This place was fantastic and Jacob is such a kind soul. We went both nights we were there and stopped by on the way out of town to take some to go ciders home. They have lots of games and a fabulous outdoor seating area.

A friend gave me a guided tour of the brewery's in Little Rock and I must say I found Stone's Throw to be the most creative and interesting of all the brewery's we visited. The man behind the bar knew his beers, was friendly with helpful and informative with his descriptions of each of the beers and how they were crafted. Pear Guavara Cider was a light, refreshing choice as was the Mighty Wing, a flavorful sour. The Shamus Stout (on Nitro) was creamy, malty, and delicious. Stone's Throw, a micro-brewery, appears to be passionate about their beers and it shows. Parking can be challenging, but well worth a trip. Put this one on your short list of places to visit.

Probably a three star but I'm not sure. Definitely a nano brewery. Few places in town have it but I wouldn't expect to find this out of state far. (I currently live in Colorado.) Not to be a beer snob but a lot of these were meh. I love IPAs but don't dog porters or stouts much. On my visit the menu was leaning more fall winter warmer so I didn't see any many I wanted. Got two tasters and then a pint later of what I liked the best. Great beer. Growlers. Crowlers. Little odds and ends to munch on. They also do the rotating food truck outside which is the norm these days. Outside area could be larger but it's on the corner so whatever. Nice lights and roped in area. Have the street lights so seeing isn't an issue. Inside two rooms it looked like. We all sat at the bar. Two sampler trays as I said. Always rotating things. You can also add syrups if you like which one local place by my house does also. Definitely a neighborhood joint. Another brewery a few blocks over. Notable to visit Stone if in the area. Not sure i would make it a local staple when I visit Little Rock weekly. Guess I settled my three or for star dilemma. Enjoyed this place but it didn't hit all my "must haves" I guess.

This is a cute little pub. The food was good. The cheese dip had ghost pepper flakes in it. Just the right amount of heat. The V sandwich had a lot of flavor. The chips were cooked to perfection. No sogginess. The grl cheese sandwich was good. Little different texture than normal. The bread was really good. The beers are yummy. They also serve Kombucha from a place in Hot Springs called A Lively Brew. I had the spicy ginger. It has a kick to it. All of their brews are not sweetened so keep that in mind if you order the Kombucha. Stone's Throw doesn't have parking so you will have to park on the street. Sometimes a block or 2 away. The place is not very big so you might be standing. They do have outdoor seating but the sun shines directly on that area. No shade. Overall a greay experience.

This is a place all homebrew lovers should give some love. The owners are all homebrewers who have decided to bring their liquid gold to the masses. I , for one, am glad they did. The seating space is small but inviting- a perfect place to bring a few friends, or make some new ones. The bar itself is small but functional and the entire space is well maintained and clean. I hope they get the outdoor patio up and running soon-it will be an awesome addition. The people here are very friendly and passionate about what they are doing. Play your cards right and you might get a tour of where the magic happens. You will be able to see their passion as they show you around and explain the process to you-this isn't just a job to them. Is the excitement warranted? If the beers I had on my visit are an indication-definitely! I am a fan of all things dark and the stout was very nice. It is nice that in addition to the two or three of their own beers on tap they feature some other delicious choices as well. They have not forgotten about the grub. They always have a food truck or two on site that are slinging some amazing stuff. It's a great concept because instead of a set menu you might get to experience a different type of cuisine every time you visit. Do yourself a favor when in Little Rock-grab some friends and grab a few pints. Just make sure to save me a seat.

We did a flight and enjoyed all the beers! The taproom is cute and inviting. Nice and bright. We were able to bring in our own food and had a flight of all their beers while enjoying our lunch. The waitstaff was very friendly and were animated when talking about the brews. I'm really glad we stumbled on this brewery while passing though. If we find ourselves in Little Rock again we will definitely pop in for another round.

A little lighter than most local breweries like Lost 40 but doesn't let you down on flavor or variety. Lost 40 is definitely a place where your bound to find something you like. The variety here is pretty high from drinkable ales to somewhat bitter stouts.

The thing I love about breweries is the super-social, fun, yet laid-back feel. They're the places you go out to to get that "group of buddies hanging out in the kitchen" feeling Oh, and the beer, that's another favorite feature :) Stone's Throw truly shines as a watering hole, a place you go to sit down, have a drink, chat with a bartender, strike up a conversation with a stranger - it's everything a casual brewery should be! They also do an excellent job of keeping things fresh, there are little events nearly every night, and bigger events scattered throughout the month. Great spot! Well worth the visit! The one thing I didn't like about it is that it's small. While that adds to the cozy, social feel, it does cross into crowded territory more often than not. That said, major points to the bartenders for being on the ball on making sure even those in the back get what they want! This one quibble is also going to be fixed soon, judging by all the work out front, I expect a glorious beer garden patio on the horizon. Stay tuned!

Very friendly service and quality beer. Plus open on Sunday Great draft selection and canned beer for carry out.

What a delightful experience. The beers are stellar the people without exception both patrons and staff are like family from the minute you walk in. The selection of craft beers suit any taste and each was as good or better than the last. Although this wonderful little brewery/bar has to be your destination and not located among a cluster of businesses it is well worth the visit. The food truck outside has some great Mexican food by the way.

Nothing like relaxing to a Stone's Throw Brew!

My wife and…read moreI came in on a Friday afternoon, we loved the beers so much that we grabbed 3 6-packs on the way out. Happy hours included half price pints and some really good bar snacks... I would recommend the sampler that came with onion rings, cheese fries, chicken bites (get the dry rub!), and egg roll boudin. This place is so secure in the quality of the beer that they offer that our bartender actually recommended that we go to another place to compare: Moody Brews a couple of miles south. We decided to stay for a while and sample the beers at this place instead, playing rummy and watching a bowl game on TV. A perfect spot for all of that!!

Stopped into Flyway Brewing on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised by how quiet it was. The…read morerestaurant was clean, comfortable, and had the music at exactly the right volume present enough to create atmosphere without making conversation difficult. Nothing felt overwhelming or overdone, which made for a relaxed experience. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Water hit the table in under two minutes, and our beers arrived in less than five. That's the kind of efficiency every restaurant should strive for. Now for the food: * Cheese Curds ($8) - These arrived piping hot and fresh from the fryer. The curds themselves were crispy but fairly bland on their own. The ranch and Mimi's Red Sauce did a lot of the heavy lifting here and elevated the dish significantly. * Queso ($8, plus $2 for chorizo) - Very basic. Not bad, but not memorable either. It tasted like melted Velveeta with a little extra liquid mixed in. Perfectly edible, just lacking any standout flavor. * Pretzel ($6) - Easily one of the highlights of the meal. They accidentally brought us the espresso pretzel first before correcting it with the plain version we ordered. Surprisingly, both were excellent. Soft, fresh, and flavorful. * Smash Burger & Fries ($17) - The fries were fantastic: hot, crispy, fresh, and seasoned perfectly. The burger itself was average--exactly what you'd expect from a mid-range brewery restaurant. Good, but not something I'd specifically come back for. * Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries ($15) - The low point of the meal. The sweet potato fries were cold, stale, and honestly should never have left the kitchen. The chicken sandwich wasn't much better. The breading was overcooked to the point of tasting burnt, and there wasn't much flavor beyond that. * Bacon-Wrapped Quail Sliders - Another average offering. Not bad by any means, but nothing that stood out or justified ordering again. The beer is clearly the star of the show here. Flyway knows how to brew, and that's what would bring me back. The food ranges from good to disappointing, with only a few items really standing out. Overall: * Beer: 4/5 * Food: 2/5 * Service: 5/5 Flyway Brewing is worth visiting for the beer, atmosphere, and service. Eat because you're there, not because you're searching for an exceptional meal. If the kitchen can become as consistent as the brewery, this place could be something special.

His bands had played there and I really trust him when it comes to food. He wasn't wrong. The Pizza was really good. The "cheesy bread" was literally just cheese melted on a hoagie roll. Skip it. Not worth it. Anyway.... we ended up being there like 2 hours. The person who took my order seemed to be in a mood but she lightened up some as we ordered. A little over a half hour in, I noticed people who came in after us were getting their orders, so I asked her where ours was. She said she would check it out but apparently never did. So my friend went to ask her where our food was and when my friend approached the chick was like "what's up?" Okay... like... again... what's going on with our food? We assumed that time she would check, but apparently she didn't. Because the third time we asked for it, someone else was there to help us and that's when we found out they lost our ticket. Thank gawds we had a receipt. Long story short, two hours later we got food so piping hot we had to take it back to the hotel to eat it. It was pretty stinking good once it was cool enough to eat. So maybe this was an off night for them. It was the dismissive attitude and being completely unconcerned that turned me off. If I was back in town, I MIGHT try it again if I'm not in a hurry just because the pizza was really good.
