    The truck

I have visited this truck several times now in the past few months because it is THAT good. I could seriously eat this food every night! I saw they were coming to the neighborhood pool so I placed my order ahead online. It was ready and hot at the promised time! The staff was friendly and following safety guidelines. I ordered the fried plantains to start, as I love plantains. Simple food here, just fried and perfectly caramelized. Very enjoyable. For my meal I got the Jerk chicken specialty rice box and added Caribbean slaw. When you receive the box it looks a little small, but trust me it is the perfect portion. The box is packed full of rice and beans, with tender and well seasoned chicken, fresh veggies, and very tasty slaw. I am not normally a coleslaw person, but their Caribbean slaw is to die for. If you see this truck nearby, GET THERE! They also have a physical location id love to try in the future!

Just Jerks visited our neighborhood tonight and we really enjoyed our meal - and the break from cooking and dishes! My husband had the Jerk Chicken Specialty Rice Box (jerk chicken over Jamaican rice and beans with sautéed mushrooms and onions, shredded cheese and smoky aioli), I had the Jerk Chicken Fajita Rice Box (jerk chicken over Jamaican rice and beans with sautéed bell peppers and red onions and shredded cheese) and my daughter had the Veggie Rice Box (fried plantains over Jamaican rice and beans with sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, onions and red onions, shredded cheese, mango salsa and Caribbean slaw). The servings were very generous and we all loved our food, which was reasonably priced at $9 per meal. Such a nice option while quarantining at home! Thanks to my neighbors for organizing this visit from Just Jerks.

    Island Chicken Tacos - perfection!!

My review is on their food truck.... The husband and I decided to hit the Blue Ash Food Truck Festival! Before going, we did our research here on Yelp! My husband chose Bone Brothers. He ordered the wings. Bad choice - he said never again. I decided to give Just Jerks a try! I love tacos, and after reading reviews, I ordered the Island Chicken Tacos. They were fantastic!!! I ordered the 'sweet' version, and they still had a decent amount of spice (I like spicy!). The slaw on the taco was delicious. The mango salsa was sooooo tasty!!! I gave one to my husband and he agreed - this place is hands down the best food truck we've tried! I should also add - they were insanely busy with orders when I placed mine. The food was still exceptional and the service was great.

Thank you Just Jerks for coming to my work today for lunch service! Your truck is very clean and the employees working were quick and very nice. I ordered the jerk chicken island and the fried plantains, they were both delicious! I'll start with the plantains. The plantains were fried perfectly with a very small amount of grease on them. They had a great mix of soft and crunch with was nice. I will definitely get them again! The jerk chicken island was AMAZING! The rice was perfect on the bottom and the flavor was incredible. I ordered it spicy and when they say spicy they ain't playing around. I LOVE SPICY FOOD! The slaw and the mango salsa on top really balanced the dish and helped cut the spice just enough. All around my lunch at the truck was great and I am very happy with my experience! GREAT JOB JUST JERKS!!!

The only jerks you will find here are on the food. (Had to make the joke.) People who were running the truck were pleasant. Food was well seasoned. Chicken was tender. While the food was out quick enough to know most of it had to be precooked, then assembled as ordered, everything still maintained it's freshness. I would be really interested in trying the brisket. The Just Ginger, Jamaican ginger beer, is not what I was expecting. Unlike the carbonated bottles found in stores, this was more like a ginger juice. Think water and ginger, with a hint of sugar, blended then strained. At least that is how I picture it being made. Being a ginger fan, I found it's peppery bite to be both warm and refreshing.

The reason I love Yelp is because I find places like Ena's Jerkmania that I would normally drive right past. In fact, that is what I have done for almost 2 years until today I wanted to try something different. Turns out I work only 10 minutes away from this place. Considering I love Jamaica and have visited the country three times I was excited to give a Jamaican place a visit. The restaurant itself is basically an old Taco Bell that has been reconditioned or at least that is what it reminded me of. I walked in and said I've never been here and I was given a rundown of the menu by a very nice woman, perhaps it might have been the owner. The menu almost has a Chipotle feel to it. You order the meat and then can either get a wrap, sandwich, or bowl. They don't prepare the food in front of you though. I decided to order a Jerk Chicken and Pork Rice Bowl. I went with Sweet as the flavor and it still had a kick just as I was told it would. I like spicy and it didn't bother me, but someone that can't handle their food on the spicy side might have a hard time. Of course it is jerk so if you expect anything less than hot you probably don't know Jamaican food very well. The food was out in about 5 minutes making it a fast enough lunch that I could see myself here at least a couple times a month. The chicken and pork were perfectly prepared. I genuinely enjoyed the meal, so much that I went back and ordered a spicy beef patty to go. I had a few of these on my trips to Jamaica and they were authentic, almost as if I could have been in Negril. Now if Ena's could only bring the Jamaican beach to Cincinnati! I'll be back and suggest you make a visit as well.

    Khiemo S.

Wow this place went from being a 4-5 star to a 2-3 star. The original review is accurate but lately they have been running out/not making beef patties which is very annoying and disappointing. I'm definitely calling to make sure they have beef patties before I go there. They offered to sell me frozen beef patties. So what you're telling me is you have the patties but refuse to make them???How do you not make beef patties for lunch on a Friday!!?!? I got the curry bowl this time and it was okay. Not that flavorful but not extremely bland either. Original review Great food for a great value! Everything on the menu is under $7. Staff is very nice. Truly one of Cincinnati's hidden gem. I got a custom beef brisket bowl with the sweet sauce and it was very good. I suggest trying the sauces before ordering because the sweet sauce was spicy. Their beef patty is also very good. Probably the best I've had in Cincinnati especially since there are not too many Caribbean joints around. If not for the slow service, I would definitely give a 5 star. They took a really long time to prepare the food and mixed the order up too.

Love the logo for this awesome, authentic Jamaican joint.

Awesome Jamaican joint run by the friendliest of people. They offer sandwiches, rice bowls, wraps and salads topped with jerked meat of various sorts -- chicken, pork, beef brisket (veggies too, I think). You can choose your own ingredients or go with several recommended combinations of vegetables, sauces, cheeses, etc. Top it all with your choice of jerk sauce (original, sweet, spicy, etc.). It's a more complicated ordering process than you'll find at McDonald's, but the staffers will be more than happy to help you out. I had a rice bowl with jerk pork and chicken. The meat was FANTASTIC -- super-moist and deeply flavorful. I went with the spicy jerk sauce, which proved satisfyingly hot. (They'll give you a taste to make sure it's not intense for you.) Rice bowls come with beans and Jamaican cole slaw, which is all good -- the slaw isn't the gross, mayo-soaked crap you get at some places. Topped off the meal with some spicy, thin-cut parmesan fries that were also amazing: freshly cut and fried, crisp and tasty. The potatoes came with zippy dipping sauces (ketchup, mustard, mayo) doctored up by the wizards in Jerkmania's kitchen. Washed it all down with some Jamaican ginger beer and walked out warm and happy. As for the locale, it's in a strip-mall parking lot close to I-275. The Jerkmania building appears to have been a Taco Bell in a former, far less wonderful life. It's totally clean and decorated with some cool, cartoon-style art and logos. Bottom line: quick, easy, inexpensive and totally delightful place to get a fix of delicious Jamaican food. Best meal I've had in Cincinnati.

Chicken "Spanishtown" wrap with original sauce, rosemary fries, mayo dipping sauce, and Ting grapefruit soda!
    Dan L.

What a great find! The food was excellent and the prices are reasonable! We both tried wraps with chicken and the original sauce. The sauce wasn't too spicy and the chicken was flavored just right. I got mine with "Spanishtown" toppings as recommended by the cashier and it was spot on! I also tried a Caribbean grapefruit soda called Ting. I'm not a huge grapefruit fan, but it was great! We shared a side of fries with the mayo dipping sauce. I wish we would have gotten 2 dipping sauces because that stuff is addicting! Overall, this was a great new place and I highly recommend it!

The menu looked amazing, so I drove us there. When we pulled up, I thought we had the wrong place. It is inside of an office building. Tip: Go to the second floor and make a left. The aroma of the food will lead your right to it. When we arrived, they had music playing and chill vibes. You can order and pay through the kiosk. After we placed our order, we went into the dining area. The food came out pretty quickly. I ordered 10 wings and coco bread. For my flavors, I selected the pineapple jerk wings and the honey jerk wings. The owner came out personally and brought my wings to me. The owner is a really solid dude. He gave us the backstory on the restaurant and told us about his homemade sauces. You can tell that he really is passionate about his business. The wings were smoked and sauced to perfection! And they are 10 for $10! Can't beat that price for the quality they are giving you. The coco bread was a nice addition, I used it to soak up the leftover jerk sauce I had in my container! My wife got the jerk salmon with fried rice and jerk yum yum sauce. Yes, you heard me right! Jerk Yum Yum Sauce!!! I had to steal a couple of bites off of her plate, and I shared one of my wings with her. She loved her meal, and the jerk yum yum sauce was phenomenal. We ordered The Hut Punch, which is sugar-free and comes with real fruit pieces. It was very refreshing and flavorful. Lastly, the customer service! We met the owner and his wife. They have managed to bring a piece of Jamaica to Ohio. When we were about to leave to head back to Columbus, I told my wife that I couldn't leave without getting some jerk yum yum sauce to go. I asked if they sold sauces to go. The owner went out of his way to go and purchase containers so that I could take some home. He didn't have to do that, but I am truly grateful that he did. I am now back in Columbus, and I have already started pouring on my fried rice and loving every bite! If you love Jamaican food, you have to try this place! Jerk Wings 1-5=5! Coco Bread 1-5=4. Salmon Fried Rice 1-5=5. Hut Punch 1-5=4. Jerk Yum Yum Sauce 1-5=5! Customer Service 1-5=5! Even though they are Bengals fans. #GoBrowns

Hell, we're still sussing out the Colombian vs. Venezuelan arepa rivalry. But the arepa pabellon at Arrechissimo (this apparently means "awesome" in Venezuelan Spanish) wins the prize for us so far, and it's not even close. Even if it initially seems expensive at $13.50, it is a near-miraculous little food item, regardless of one's knowledge about arepas generally. It's perfect in its simplicity and greater than the sum of its parts: Wonderful white-corn flatbread style rolls with a great balance of fluffy and crisp, flavorful shredded beef, fried plantains, black beans, and melted mild cheese.
