We had hail damage to our roof. We called legends and a couple other places. They all came out the same day. Dayne was the salesman and walked us through everything! We signed all paper work with legends that day and picked out our new roof. They came out weeks later to do the new roof/gutters and downspouts. The workers worked all day and did a great job installing and cleaning up. Our house looks so nice! The next morning we got our new gutters and downspouts done. Also awesome job! I signed a contract to have my roof done by legend, never heard back from them for 8 months. When I reached out to them, they claimed I was lost in the shuffle somewhere down the line. They showed up, did the job, but left numerous cables hanging from my gutters which i took care of myself. After the first rainstorm, I noticed a leak in my back porch, I promptly notified cesar, the foreman handling my roof and his last words to me were "I'm on it". I never heard back from him again. It doesnt bring me any pleasure to write this but, I can't help but feel as if I was disregarded or perhaps not important enough. Overall, my experience with legend exteriors was discouraging at the very least, I ended up with more problems post roof getting redone as opposed to pre roof issues. had my roof done eight month's by Legend. from the start it was a hassle. They forgot to install my ckicket in front of my chimney, they tried to get away with not cutting into the frick for the flashing, flashing over my kitchen was not done right the first time, they thought it was ok to put a down spout going over my side walk. Make things worse they did not do enough of a over hang in one quarner which allowed water to go down my walls and ceiling which ended up causing $10,000 worth of damage. I have had the opportunity over the last few months to work with Jason Talaue on a new roof for my home. He came out to my home and did an inspection on my roof and gave me a competitive quote. I didn't meet him at that time as I work away from home, but his conversation, care not to over promise and his general demeanor over the phone was very professional. Not at all like most of the storm chasers we have been getting knocking at our door. I was pleased with his thorough quote as most contractors didn't even come to look at my house. They just pull up Google Earth and make a guess. I had intended for your company to replace my roof this Fall. Then on May 27th, huge ice rocks came down through the sky and ripped up my property. Jason came out a few days later and thought we should file a claim with my insurance company....but was careful not to over promise again. He is obviously well trained so that the customer isn't mad when the insurance doesn't pay. As a Salesman....., I really like that. He made the appointment with my insurance adjuster and did a pre-meeting inspection the day before where he circled all potential hail damage with chalk. I met him during that pre-inspection and was impressed with the way he dressed, his equipment (cool collapsible ladder and his nice work vehicle) When TWO adjusters met him the next day, he negotiated with them to pay for the entire roof instead of only half! The fact that I can put that hard earned money to other uses is a real blessing! I just wanted you to know that I appreciate how he has handled my account. I'm sure you have many other project managers like him.... and that is likely because of your good management. I look forward you your men replacing my roof. I'm sure it will come out perfect. Legend replaced my entire cedar siding on my architecturally unique house built in 1989 with LP siding and they also replaced 5 windows after hail damage from last May. He took care of all the details with my insurance company. That man needs a raise for how hard he worked to get things done and maintain social distancing and professionalism during the pandemic. I left 2 messages on the main line as well as called and text the Rep my friend recommended. I was told on 2 occasions he would visit my home and he did not show or call on either day. Legend Exteriors was hired to replace several of our windows. We had a terrible experience and do not recommend them. It took them over a year to finish after repeated phone calls from us. They built huge boxes around the new windows that do not match the rest of the house. Another window installer was shocked at the shoddy workmanship. We need warranty work - the seal broke on a window. They won't return our calls. Poor workmanship, not reliable, and they don't stand behind their work. Never again. read more

I am extremely disappointed with this company. I heard amazing things about them and did not hesitate to contact them after a severe hailstorm in July 2017. Erik spoke with my husband and set a time. Erik canceled and rescheduled the appointment on 3 separate occasions. He finally made it to our home and assessed the damage. As soon as he found out our insurance company, he told us it was a hard company to get approval from. We made the claim regardless and asked Erik to join the assessor on the day he came to our home. Erik told us he was surprised we made the claim and, though, he went to the roof, he told me he did not engage with the assessor. Ultimately the claim was denied when Erik was there. The next day another company knocked on our door asking if we had found a contractor, as he saw the markings on our door. We told him what had happened and told us to get a second opinion, an option Erik never told us was available. Needless to say, we got a second opinion with the new contractor present with our insurance company and the claim was approved. We were very, very disappointed with the service we obtained from Legend and Erik...very disappointed. read more
