While JJ wasn't the lowest, they were the most comprehensive. For example, all of the other quotes quoted the shingles and work, but JJ Construction quoted shingles, tiles, gutters, and all hardware (new fans/vents/gutters). They are highly skilled. They did not rush the project (who wants a roofer who rushes?) and cleaned up every day. Communication was excellent. They installed Class 4 shingles, which lowered my home owners insurance by 20%. Like a lot of people mentioned, the sales pitch was pretty aggressive. I expected that. So should you. Having said that, the sales guy was really nice. The only snafu was the pressure to sign that night so that I could get an extra discount in order for him to measure immediately. The sell was that it saves both of us time and money. At any rate, he was good at doing his job. So I can't fault him for that. Here's the thing: the measurement is a pretty new technology. Seems like the company is still trying to get a grip on it. Measurements didn't take and I needed to reschedule, take more time, have somebody else come out. To avoid that, my recommendation is to ask if you can somehow still get the discount and have somebody else come out. Or ask what happens if the measurements don't take and you have to take more of your time to support their business. I was really frustrated by that part of the process, as both the initial meeting and the follow up became more time-consuming than I was ready for. And then I saw all these other reviews and thought there might be some red flags. I really got very nervous. I got and stayed in touch with the company, got very good responses from the sales team. They offered an additional, nominal discount for the inconvenience. I'll share what I shared with them: I would rather they keep the money and just change their practices. Once we figured that part out, it was smooth sailing. Very efficient installation, friendly guys. Tarp & plastic to everything. Thorough in the cleanup. And at this point, I really couldn't be much happier with the product. Time will tell, but so far so good. First, the salesman gave us a brochure talking about how careful they are when handling old windows, as there is a danger of lead paint. Just charged up and hammered the window out from the outside, which left debris all over the inside of the house I called Feldco immediately complaining, and asking him to stop and send someone else. They had a great old time giving me lies over the phone and convincing me the cleaning would be taken care of - they even sent out someone for a different project to say everything will be totally fine etc. I gave the go ahead to finish the project and when I called them asking about the cleanup that was promised by the person on the telephone and the person who came to the house - they literally laughed at me and said they don't do such a thing. This was actually hilarious to them. The windows are bad quality. One window grows frost in the winter, and another is near impossible to open or close - but I will never call this atrocious lying scamming company again. We ended up with them for a few reasons: - Their quote was competitive - They were able to spray paint the interior trim with our existing paint color - They were able to match the exterior trim as closely as possible to our windows outside - Anthony at Siding & Windows Group was very responsive We placed the order on August 22nd, which is my bday. I can't say new doors was what i wanted for my bday, but i guess this is being a homeowner in your 40s. The new doors weren't installed until November 6th and we just hoped for no big storms and got lucky. Anthony checked in a few times on when they'd be installed and pushed it back a few days due to other projects. The actual installation took about a day, which wasn't too bad. A week later they came to spray paint, which honestly seemed like a much bigger project than installing the doors. That took 2 days and went smoothly, although there was a little confusion about them not knowing what color to paint, etc. It turned out beautifully and while the doors look very similar to our old doors I like the look of these even better. The exterior finish isn't a perfect match, but i think a big part of that is our old paint on our windows as faded. One day we'll touch it all up, but for now we're looking forward to a break in paying for anything for the house. I learned there are a lot of companies in the area for new windows/doors, but we were satisfied with this one and would use them again.

Our second appointment confirmed my gut feeling that I really liked Renee as we double checked the windows and colors that I had initially picked out. Renee's background in design and knowledge of all the windows and doors, helped me make choices with ease. Renee's friendly personality and honesty were refreshing. I asked many questions along the way and Renee offered information that was relevant and left me happy with my final choices. The night prior to the installation, I received a text from Vladimir regarding his time of arrival and gave me a window of 10 minutes. Yep, he and his team arrived in that window and started the job. The first thing they did was to cover every single item in my house with plastic, from the carpet to the tops of my cabinets. Vladimir walked me through how the day was going to go so there would be no surprises. The crew was all business ALL day long. I don't think anyone took a lunch break. I've been patient, service is very slow, couple times of the technician came out. Didn't really know why. Many years ago when I built a home money was an issue so I ended up picking the cheapest windows from Menards, which I always regretted, these are so comparable to the feeling of poor quality in terms of airflow flow through the window.
