I came in at noon for a private training session with a friend, we worked with Coach Steve. Coach Steve was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He put us through some warm up exercises and gave great science backed technique on how to get strong and stay safe/avoid injury. He was great at pointing out where to make adjustments during exercises. There was also a group class going on at noon, which was surprisingly busy for a weekday with around 10-15 people. The class looked pretty fast paced and everyone seemed to be having fun. The gym environment was really great, everything looked clean and organized, and there was even mat space for kickboxing with a heavy weight bag. There are jerseys, gi's, and singlets of elite athletes who have trained here up on the wall. Parking was very easy at this time of day. Great gym, I definitely recommend. read more

I was looking for a strength & conditioning coach that had experience training high level athletes from a young age. I found that and so much more with Coach Steve and Legendary! My 10-year-old daughter is a soccer player and her coach noted that she need to work on core stability and hip flexibility to get to the next level. We did the initial assessment with Steve and continued with the Foundational Sessions. She absolutely LOVES training at Legendary. We try to get there a minimum 3 days per week, but she would be there everyday if she could. If she's not on the soccer field, then she wants to be in the gym training. She always says everyone is so nice and enjoys all the other athletes no matter the age. Steve and his team are extremely knowledgeable and are very particular about proper form, making sure that everything is done right to avoid injury. When asked for a reimbursement they acted like it was it was an accident. But take almost a month to get it back to u. Then when the bank was checked they only reimbursed $1,025. Why I chose Legendary Strength 1. It's actually personal and cater to you. Before you start classes, I had an individual assessment with Steve, where he made me squat, and stretch in multiple ways, so that he can gauge and see my full range of motion, and even diagnosis and see why I lack flexibility in certain areas. After the assessment, he went through the squat, bench, and deadlift, and help me adjust my grip, stance, feet placement, etc all based on the assessment we had. 2. It's educational. From the assessment to now, Steve always explains what we're doing and why we're doing it. I extremely value the WHY. This helps me focus on certain aspect of my lifts, and helps me focus on small improvements. Whenever I feel off, or there's a weird pinch in my back hip when I walk, I address it with Steve, and Steve usually gives me 3-4 exercises and stretches I can do to help alleviate it. If you want, Steve really helps educate me in different parts of my body, and helps me understand why I feel what I feel, and this has added a huge boost of confidence into my workouts. 3. Diverse Workouts. Steve has a set course of exercises to do, all focused on a specific goal, whether it's to increase squat PR, bench PR, etc. It's weird to be doing different workouts, and on test day push 10-20 pounds more due to the variety of workouts Steve puts us through. We're not squatting everyday. We're doing different workouts that work around everything regarding the squats, and different aspects of the squat. It's pretty intense how granular Steve can get, and I think it shows how passionate he is when it comes to strength and conditioning. If you can't do the workout of the day, let Steve know, and he has other options. Steve's an encyclopedia. 4. Vibes. I've only partaken in the class dynamics. Each class has around 4-6 people, and we all do the same workout in our individual space. There's just something about working out with someone that pushes you, and helps keep you accountable. The class has a very 'together we succeed' vibe. We push and encourage one another, and I'm all for it. Overall, Steve knows what he's talking about, and his knowledge has really equipped and encouraged me to pursue bigger numbers. Over the years, I have worked out pretty consistently at other gyms and with other trainers. Legendary Strength is an amazing facility and Steve is a phenomenal coach. I went to him about 5 months ago with some aggressive lifting goals for a powerlifting competition in March. He took the time to understand my body and my current capabilities and then designed a program for me which allowed me to quickly pack on muscle and add weight to the bar! Starting squat - 365 Finishing squat - 445 Starting deadlift - 475 Finishing deadlift - 525 Starting bench - 285 Finishing bench - 335 This was all following Steve's plan 3 days a week and then one session per week with Steve. He was able to identify weak points and provide specific exercises to improve them, gave great cues for the moves to help me tighten up the mechanics and was just a blast to work out with on a weekly basis!
