My go to gym when I'm in OC. This is where I go when I'm visiting from out of town. Excellent equipment, never crowded when I go, and folks are really friendly - everyone says hi and introduces themselves. Definitely has a great community vibe. Easy to get a day pass with no initiation or sign up fees. I see a range of people here from serious lifters to your average Joe but everyone's here to workout and there's no foolishness you sometimes get with commercial gyms. I wouldn't waste your time with the 24 hour fitnesses or La fitnesses in the area. Highly recommend. read more

THE ABSOLUTE GREATEST GYM! I don't even know where to begin. The equipment is top notch a wide variety of different machines, pulleys, free weight etc. If you can't get an amazing workout or pump in THIS gym then you have no business being in a gym at all! The gym, the equipment and all its amenities are always super clean and functional. The members here are extremely considerate, respectful and actually possess what many people lack which is proper gym etiquette! The staff members are very friendly and Tony the owner is one of the nicest people I've met. You can tell he truly cares for his business and providing the members with the best gym experience. He takes time to really get to know his members and all their comments and concerns. I have had memberships with a lot of gyms and from my many years of being a gym rat I can honestly and confidently say this is by far the greatest gym I've ever signed up with. The atmosphere the equipment the cleanliness and amenities are something you will not get at any other gym. Flex Fitness OC is my home away from home my sanctuary! I've been looking for a local open gym in the area. I called in yesterday and was told to come in for a guest pass to see if the gym works for me. Came in this morning around 5 am. I was pleasantly welcomed by owner Tony who helped me get signed up. Guest pass was $25, which is the average rate for a private gym. I find this price reasonable considering the owner has to pay the bills. This gym has a ton of great quality machines. He did a quick overview of the space and pointed to the restrooms, cardio area and posing room. This gym is definitely geared toward competitors, but the environment isn't overwhelming if you aren't one. Everyone was clean and spatially aware. I'm pretty sure I found my new home gym. First off, I wasn't paid to write this, I wasn't bribed or told to either. I was just impressed by the gym and to be honest, that is pretty rare these days when it comes to the fitness/health/wellness industry. Definitely enjoyed my first workout here at flex fitness. As a doctor of physical therapy, I'm pretty booked throughout the day so early mornings and late nights are when I usually go to the gym. Flex is 24 hours which makes it easy for my schedule. They pride themselves on having the best equipment and keeping the facility clean. I can attest to both these attributes, as Flex fitness is extremely clean and has equipment that is new and great for the human body. The owner, Tony, is extremely nice as well as the front desk staff. Even all the members mind their own business and have a calm camaraderie that isn't over the top and obnoxious. If you're on the fence about coming here, I would just stop by and take a peak. Again, I love this industry and built my career in it and not many of gyms check all my boxes. I found this gym by looking up which gym had Arsenal Strength equipment and Flex Fitness was on the map down in SoCal for a quick trip we had to make from NorCal to social for the weekend. Tony who owns the gym was very friendly as he greeted me when I was getting set up to enter the gym by another very friendly employee Ozzy! The gym by far had one of the best vibes and just so happen to be slapping the best music set that I am into by DJ John Summit for my entire workout haha! I would definitely recommend you joining this gym if your looking to get away from the commercial gyms or if your stopping in on a visit to SoCal fans want to get a solid workout in on some of the best machines and equipment that I have used!! read more

I have no idea where to start from. This is a place that you will miss immediately after completing your first session. They have every equipment that you could imagine. The environment and atmosphere is soooo encouraging and motivating. You will see passionate, hardworking and determined men and women there which so encouraging for me personally. The staff are super friendly even if you are just a beginner, they don't make you feel bad or lost in the gym. This does not smell like a gym at all. It's clean and although everyone is working out hard and sweating; you won't get to inhale stinky air. They have protein shakes and other necessary items in their fridge just in case you forget to bring yours. They constantly add machines and equipments to the place to keep it up to date. Found this "true gym" too late. Worked with Tony years ago at World Gym, heard he opened his own spot and had to check it out. Unlike the big box fitness centers....this is a serious gym for powerlifters, bodybuilding and fitness athletes. All the best equipment...competition benches, squat racks and platforms. Arsenal equipment throughout and everyone is great; staff and members! I train late mornings and never crowded. Oh...and they have a Pendulum Squat too!
