The party structure is extremely strict. You're given a very limited time to set up and are required to clear the room well before your reservation ends. I felt so pressured to set up and break down that I couldn't even enjoy my own daughter's party. For the price you pay, the experience should feel enjoyable not rushed and overwhelming. The venue emphasizes that the play area is the main attraction and the party room is mainly for food and cake, but this setup can be frustrating if you're expecting time to decorate or fully celebrate in the space. There is also a required photo consent clause in their agreement that cannot be waived, which may be uncomfortable for families who value privacy. What made the experience more frustrating was that the party scheduled after mine never even showed up it was already 3:30 PM when we left so we were rushed for no reason. (Staff even felt bad) The space itself is nice, but flexibility, personalization, and overall enjoyment were lacking. If you book here, make sure you fully understand how rigid the policies are beforehand.

I definitely will be coming back. I want to see the other rooms and spend some time dancing!

The line was long to fill out the registration paperwork to get in and jump on the trampolines etc. I was surprised how expensive this place is $30. per person with a mandatory purchase of the special Sky Zone socks that must be worn in the play areas. Out of 4 times my son has been, he has been shoved off the balls 3 times. Sometimes violently. One of those times, my sons neck had slammed against the edge of the ball pit. He went to a staff member and the staff member said, 'then why do you keep going over there?' Once I found out that this has been happening I went in to talk to management. I spoke with the manager, Kevin. Once face to face with Kevin, all of the gestures of disdain, impatience, and contempt from Kevin were hard to take. It devolved into petty back and forth about who had a worse attitude. With a smile, he informed me that he was not rolling his eyes, he was just moving them from side to side (Like, what are you still doing here?) With a big smile, he told me he was raising his voice over mine and tallking over me because he needs to de-escalate the escelation I was choosing to create. But after about 20 infuriating minutes, he still had not taken down a single fact about what happend to my kid. Somewhere in the confrontation, I was told that they have a zero tolerance bullying policy. But the attitude we've experienced on the ground is, 'I know kids are getting bullied, what do you want ME to do about it?'

The machines are not super stingy like most places, which made it more fun. There are some cute stuffed animals that are "keepers," as well as other prizes like Pokemon packs. But the real prizes are those that you can trade up for using the stuffed animals that you win. I like the coin-based games that they use instead of adding credits onto a card like Round 1 for instance. This makes the cost of each game easy to keep track of, and most games are only 1 coin which equals a dollar each, which is very affordable now-a-days. The staff was super friendly and they re-sort the claw machines often so that the stuffed animals don't get stuffed and there's always a prize that's within reach. As opposed to if a few people had just won and the remaining stuffed animals are unwinnable basically. I loved that service and extra attention to detail. This absolutely made the experience more enjoyable for us. In addition, if there's a particular stuffed animal that you want that's out of reach of the claw, the staff is more than willing to reshuffle it so that it's not stuck along the sides or stuffed between others. Overall, we had a terrific experience and came away smiling and happy. My kids got the trade-ins that they wanted, and so did I! We couldn't stop talking about it on the ride home. And they are already anxiously awaiting the next trip back. Bravo! And I hope they don't change a thing!

When you purchase 20 tokens you get 3 free. Another deal was 10 tokens get 1 free. Out of all our 23 tokens we got 4 toys. The more you purchase the more the perks got better. They also have a system where you could swap out the toys for other items behind the counter. I will say there was a few times where we had it, but when the claw carried the toy up to the top, the claw shakes hard and drops the toy. There were at least 20-30 machines. Spread out and plenty of space. The toy options were very cute. I loved that there were a lot of keychain toys. We won a jujitsu kaisen (itadori) keychain, fuzzy egg toast key chain, a cute cat, and fluffy cloud bag (my favorite). All looked well made. Staff were very nice and knowledgeable. Definitely will be back!

After seeing my first 'bout' this weekend, two conclusions: 1) Yes. It would indeed be awesome to be an Atlanta Roller Girl in general. and 2) No. It would not be awesome to be a Roller Girl for ME specifically because I would whine about getting hurt, and probably try to instinctively dodge the other girls instead of whack! bam! smack! hitting them like they're supposed to. So, with shattered daydreams about my potential career as a Roller Girl, the second best thing to do, of course, is tell you why you should go watch 'em. The lovely ladies are all doing their bad arse rollin' and derby-ing for the passion . . .and not for the money, because, well, there isn't any. They are all much tougher than I, and nary a tear did I see. You can tell that they're having a good time, there's a ton of team camaraderie and of course, having fun wearing their crazy and fun 'uniforms.' With team like the Denim Demons and Toxic Shock, there are quite a few opportunities for creativity! As a spectator, aside from the roller derby action, the best part I must say is the BYOB functionality. You certainly can't BYOB (well. openly.) to a Braves game, now can ya? And the randomness that they are in the Yaarab Shrine Center on Ponce. Like, girls in skates and fishnets play in the the same place the dudes with tassel hats hang out. You can buy fried shrimp, roller girl t-shirts, and watch the Atlanta teams go head to head, then stick around for the out of town team games and show your Atlanta home team spirit. Their season runs March thru September, and the 2008 season opener tickets sold out a few days before the actual bouts, so plan ahead! The closest I'll come to actually being a Roller Girl is sitting on the front row danger zone, where girls slid into the audience a couple times. But with my BYOB and a comfy spot in the stands? Definitely how I like to roll.

The gift shop had a ton of great toys and discount plushies which were a plus for my toddler. The staff was young adults so you can't expect over the top customer service, they were kind however. Moms be mindful that there isn't anywhere to put your bags so maybe a fanny pack or leave it in the car.

I don't think I'll pay full price especially if it goes up to like $30-$40 at peak times. They did have activities (toys, coloring, blocks) you can do outside of paw patrol in the main store while you wait for your reservation time and also afterwards, which was great for my daughter to play more because she was upset with how short paw patrol was. They also had additional paid experiences like slime making. The employee was very nice and played with our daughter for a little bit too.
