Atla with cheese, fries, and a side of honey mustard

I was truly excited to try this place because it is such a cool concept. Went yesterday for dinner with my husband, daughter, and my friend and her daughter. We opted for the board games for $7 so that we could play together at the table while we ate, which is a great idea in theory but the execution left a lot to be desired. Most of the games we tried to play were old, dirty (yuck), and incomplete. For example, we were unable to play Guess Who because both the red and blue lineups were missing people and many of the people cards were torn into pieces. We were able to play What Do You Meme, but it was obvious that most of the meme cards were missing, so we had to stop abruptly when we ran out of new cards. Since people are eating and playing, effort should be made to keep the games clean, or at the very least, provide hand sanitizer at each table so that guests aren't grossed out about handling dirty game pieces in between grabbing bites of their sandwich or other finger food. I just feel like even though $7 for board game play is reasonable, it felt far less justifiable after experiencing the issues I just explained. If you are going to charge people any amount to use the games, ensuring that those games are complete and sanitary seems like a reasonable expectation. Service was okay but most of the food did not even meet the okay standard. We started with mozerrela sticks, which were okay. The fries with all our meals were obviously the frozen bagged kind you can find at any grocery store. They added seasoning but it's not enough to hide the fact that you are eating frozen fries at a sit down restaurant. My husband ordered the Don't Call It Hotlanta chicken sandwich and I think that was probably the best tasting thing we all ordered. I ordered the ATLA with cheese and did not like it very much. The bread was too crispy, the cheese was cold, and the overall flavor just didn't do it for me. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese with a side of fries. It does say on the menu that it is Kraft mac and cheese. She didn't complain, but she's 12 and not too picky so no surprise there. I had a soda water, my daughter had a sprite, and my husband had two mixed drinks (I think margaritas). Our total bill including the $7 for a crappy board game experience came out to $94 before tip. It was not worth it and I would never return for dinner nor can I recommend that others consider this a worthy dinner spot. Nevertheless, it would be a cool spot to come to with a big group of friends to play the computer and video games while enjoying a few drinks and maybe an appetizer or two. I could see that being a fun experience and would be open to returning to play the video games with friends or maybe one of their event nights like trivia that sounds like a good time, but I won't come back specifically for dinner because there are far better place to get a far superior meal for that price around here. So, at the end of the day, two stars is my review for the dinner and board game experience, but it would probably be closer to a 4 for just video games and drinks or events because I don't think there is anything else like it around here. I am not 100% on pricing for the video games but I think I saw something like $20 per hour, which I think might be a little pricey. However, I am not a big gamer myself so I may not be the best judge of that.

If you're a gamer and haven't been here yet, where have you been?! I finally made it for trivia night and it was genuinely one of our most fun date nights in a while. There's plenty to enjoy no matter when you visit, but if you're going for an actual event, make a reservation through the site because seats fill up fast! Speaking of seats, yes, there's traditional restaurant and bar seating, but then there are also stations with those comfy gaming chairs (one of my favorite things, I swear!). The food was tasty, drinks were great, and I really enjoyed the spirit-free cocktail list too, because I feel like you don't see those enough. My "Kelp Juice" cocktail was spirit free and it was deliciously refreshing. Can't wait to go back!

Very well designed gaming spot! I love the wall murals. They have a large variety of board games on the shelves right when you walk in. There's also video games on the pc or console but that is per hour. We personally game in for the board games (it's $7 for the whole day but used to be $5 before inflation). Still worth it! I haven't heard of most games, but I wish there was a way to recommend some popular games that they should have. I couldn't give it a five stars because one of the games was missing a whopping 14 cards (the odd ones out board games). So I wish they took care of them a bit more or a way for people to let staff know if something is missing or wrong. They have a drink and food menu. The soft serve is unlimited refills. The cocktails have cool names! We got a princess peach which came with edible glitter. I got their battle and brew lager ($3), which was okay it wasn't that smooth. I loved playing their circle of jerks and dim sum game! If they had bobaescapades or some rowdy games like jungle speed, it would've been perfect.

Visited while in town for a concert. It seemed like a good opportunity to check out all the themed cocktails and see what exactly a gaming restaurant looks like. For the first time they explain how things work and the costs. For less than $10 you can play games they have there or spend a bit more to have a digital gaming station. The concept is cool as it making gaming a far more social experience. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich was okay, but not as lemon peppery as I hoped and unfortunately my fries were awful maybe over fried or something. My sister's fries were better. Once our food arrived our server did stop by one more time but we didn't see her again. I actually had to track her down to get the check so we could leave. So concept is cool, but the food and service are just kind of okay. I likely won't return on a future trip, but it may be fun for a birthday party.

This sandwich was much better than i expected for a gaming spot. Legitimately a really nice lemon pepper flavor and very well cooked, crispy and tender. Fries were good also, and the food came out fast and the service was great. Way better than i expected for a sandwich eating experience at a MTG pre release i would come back just for the sandwich, but the inside of this place is pretty cool

We had a fun group experience at Battle & Brew! We opted to play board games, and there were many options. There's also an extensive food and drink menu. I had the B&B burger and fries, which were delicious. I love the concept of this place and am so glad we chose it for a night out.

Our server Kevin was so funny and helpful! I love how he took care of us. We came for trivia night (PlayStation) hoping to win free Dreamhack tickets for this year. We did not unfortunately. But the food wasn't bad. I did try the new lemon pepper chicken sandwich and it just wasn't hitting. Too saucy with lemon pepper but also no real taste. The bun was disintegrating as a was eating it . The fries was good and brownie (I had it without ice cream, and stayed long enough to taste a good bit of the menu items). Like my partner enjoyed his sandwich (Dragon). I should've picked something else. They used to have this great curry dish yummmm that was Vegan but it's gone as well as like everything else practically vegan. There is only fried rice with tofu. Yay . The drinks I had was meh. The one-winged angel despite a mocktail tasted better to me than the seasonal potion drink they had. I think sometimes places over do sugar, carbs, and salt (and meat everywhere) thinking it will hit the most, but it just alienates people to me. Battle and Brew is a great nerd cafe for people like my partner and our friends, but the food is becoming a hit or miss more these days...

Clearly TWO chicken breasts on that sandwich. False advertising.

Went with our sons, 31 & 28. They Love games. Cool concept. Thumbs up for having $10 pitchers of your house brew. Where you lost big points with me is charging $14 for a hot chicken sandwich with hardly any coleslaw, barely any spice. The picture on your ad shows a huge sandwich with 2 chicken breasts on it. I only got one. Also lost points on the noise level, all thumpy-thumpy club music, very repetitive. The service was great.

Battle & Brew is such a cool place! They have PC gaming systems, consoles, and board games by the hour, all while you can enjoy food and drinks! They got really cool "potion" drinks. They have the Mana, Health, Stamina and Estus potions. We tried them all and they were actually pretty good and strong. As per food, they got a little bit of everything for bar food. We tried their chicken tenders & tater tots and the chicken is actually pretty good! We sat in couch with the consoles and our orders were taken from here and delivered by our server. I have to say service was pretty slow when they didn't seem as busy. They also took forever to switch out games for us. All in all, cool place to hang out, we'll be back!

I'm visiting Georgia, and my niece and great-nephew suggested we check this place out for some fun. I had a great time -- the atmosphere was lively, family-friendly, and the food was really tasty. We did have to wait a while to be seated, which may have been due to the Sunday crowd. My only critique is the pricing. While everything was good, the total came to nearly $90 for our small group, which felt a bit steep -- especially for a spot that's geared toward families with kids. Just something to keep in mind if you're planning to bring the whole crew. Overall, it was a fun outing and worth trying at least once if you're in the area. Would I go back? Maybe with a coupon!

I've been going here for years and now I conveniently live very close by to it. A nice nerd bar where you can eat, drink and play games. The food is mostly standard bar food but they have some Asian and brunch style dishes as well. They have a fully stock bar and a huge variety of beer and specialty drink offerings and non-alcoholic cocktails too. I don't think I can remember a time where I didn't like the food that I've had but I always seem to get the dragon talons with sweet potato fries or tater tots. The talons are basically massive chicken fingers and I typically get it with either yum yum sauce or the gochujang aioli. They have a pretty nice variety of video games you can play as well that you pay by the hour. Unfortunately they have increased their prices over the years so I don't really come to play games anymore but if you have a group with you, then it's not as bad because you can split the cost. They also offer board games and PC games as well. Come on a Tuesday for half off games. Overall one of my favorite bars in the area and will definitely return.

AMAZING!!! Kevin, Kasey and Cole were a whole VIBE! I made a reservation to celebrate my son's birthday with close friends and family. We came in and it was packed but the level of customer service was nothing short of PERFECT! Thank you and we will be BACK!!

Battle and Brew is a great place to eat, drink, and play some games. The ambience is welcoming in a techy/nerdy/geeky way, which is what you'd expect for a place loaded with every kind of video game console and walls of board games. The food and drinks are solid with good theming; it's not just bar food you eat because you're there. It can get busy on weekend evenings, so there may be a wait especially for gaming consoles, but is still a good time. . Most recently came on a weeknight and had no wait and responsive service.

I opted to park at the Wal-Mart and wasn't as familiar with the trail so I took the street route. Well-light and populated for safe crossing. The venue is very open and was relatively empty since we arrived shortly after it opened. I love the indoor seating concept with plenty of couches, movable chairs, tables near the open-area space and smaller sections for 2-4 people tucked away along the wall. The DJ was already doing his thing and the bartenders remained busy. As someone who wasn't interested in the drinks, I appreciate that there was a self-serve water cooler in the center of the room. The Jenga and jumbo Uno cards were a hit!!!! It was so nice to have these options available. And as others mentioned, the large screen was playing a classic movie - which we could still see from inside. I didn't stay long and this was a Sunday night but the parking lot was much busier when I left. I imagine the outdoor space gets crowded later in the evening as well. The DJ was just okay - not my cup of tea - but folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can definitely see why this place is popular. Although parking is less than desirable, it is not unreasonable. The venue is well-lit and easy to move around. The crowd was diverse, with various ages and backgrounds represented. And depending on the DJ, this would be a great place for meeting with friends, date night or just zoning out to some wonderful music ... especially on a beautiful night. All I tasted and saw was the tilapia. Service wasn't bad. Either my waitress was tired or just didn't have a bubbly personality. I waited a bit and when no one approached me, I had to make strong eye contact like I am ready to order then she came to me and said "what will you have?" No introduction or welcome greeting. Not rude but not welcoming either if that makes sense. I sat at the bar in the available seat but it's right by the kitchen door and my back was to the main area. I ordered water with ice, was brought a 500mL Fiji water bottle and a styrofoam cup of ice. I am surprised they don't serve liquor. Everything is served in to go containers with plastic ware. 20% gratuity is automatically added, yes even for party of one. Music was good. Loud, like "come close so I can talk in your ear" loud but not "let me find my ear plugs" loud. They played Lil' Baby (think Freestyle and We Paid), Hunxho, Big Boogie, some of those popular TikTok songs, and then the DJ switched it up with some Shawty Lo and Young Dolph. When you first walk in you're surrounded by sections and I think one or two high tables in the center, then if you keep going the bar is on the left and a few more tables in the back. But those tables in the back kind of seems deserted and if the place is empty you could possibly be overlooked. I thought about sitting there but I felt like no one would come to serve me.
