I've come here a couple times and very much enjoyed it. It's a nerd wonderland! Not only is it a restaurant but it also is a place where you can come & game both in a play console or a computer station. You may rent out areas for larger groups or even a cute date night. On top of that they have a variety of board games as well as a karaoke area. They hold amazing event nights such as themed trivia and special costume socials for your enjoyment. The staff is friendly and very hospitable. The food is great! They have a variety of option but I recommend the Cowboy Bibimbap, it's delicious and very filling! They also have a full bar and an amazing cocktail menu. Plenty of complementary parking in the lot. Dress code is casual. Our visit was on May 16th, 2026. We had large group, which when we called ahead (4 hours ahead of time) they said that they couldn't take reservations. They told us that we would have to show up and just wait to be seated... fine. No big deal, again we are a large group coming in HOT on the weekend... I get it. We call ahead again, closer to the time we were planning to arrive to double check. THIS TIME they said they could reserve us a space and that it wouldn't be a problem. We get there and everything is seemingly fine. The vibes are good and the waiters are taking orders diligently. We understand that this is a huge group (16 of us) and that we would have to be patient with them as they are with us. So everyone puts in there orders. First wave comes out... I noticed that all the food is cold. Not ideal but the food was good so whatever. Second wave comes out, again the food is cold and peoples orders are missing. Fine. We are a big group, it happens. 3rd wave comes and they are seemingly trying to land the plane with us, finalizing anything that may have been missed while also getting refills. One of my friends that was a part of that first wave was still waiting his burger that he ordered (he had informed them twice at this point). 45 mins later the waiter checks on us again... My friend still doesn't have his burger. Cool AGAIN this is a big group... It happens. My side of the table who got all their food are ready to play some games now. We go to the front counter and there is seemingly a good cop/bad cop routine going on. One host says we can rent a station the other says we can't unless all 16 of go to that station. I told him not everyone wants to play games so what if we just cash out now then the 4 of us that do can just play/sit at the station. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT ITS AGAINST THE POLICIES" O....kay... whatever don't take my money, I then tell him I'd like to cash out anyway. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" I can't pay you now? "THE TAB CAN ONLY BE SPLIT 5 WAYS" Huh? So not only was this not brought to our attention beforehand but you want to be a jerk about it? There reason was because some people run out on the bill and things get missed. Meanwhile the entire table is sitting here with their cards out ready to pay you? Not to mention if something is missed thats on YOU as you are the person entering the stuff into the system. Mind you we still have folks that were missing food or order was taken only for it to be sitting under a heat lamp. After some back and forth we paid (which they REFUSED to give us an itemized receipt) only for a smug waiter to come out with the missing deserts with creepy smile to literally say to us "I hope you enjoy it..." Nope. Not eating that. Matter fact we will never eat here again. This has been a yearly tradition for some Dreamhack attendees and I can wholeheartedly say that I'll NEVER step foot in here again more will anyone I associate with. 3.5 Despite having nerdy tendencies, this wasn't the place for me. I'm thinking that I experienced it in its weaker era. I came here on a work trip so there was a LOT going on: food buffets, bar mania, games of all sorts. Had I come here with a group of friends to play games and sip on a drink I think I would have had a different (read: better) experience. That said, I appreciate that B&B exists and what it's trying to do. Despite being here as part of a big group, the staff was perfectly lovely and patient. That's not always the case when it comes to dealing with large groups. The food menu is confusingly large and caters to about every taste.* I got a little grossed out at the thought of eating around so much dust. Board games and consoles are dirty/dusty. They show both easily. Eating around/in that didn't appeal to me. What *did* appeal to me, though, was the thought of drinking a potion. From the glass (straight up D&D) to the color (blue), I was all in. The Mana Potion had a lot of the right elements (gin, blue curacao, elderflower liqueur, lemon, and Sprite) but the extra zhuzh for our party was team too much. The edible glitter made the drink a bit thick and didn't do wonders for my stomach. It's a tough criticism because I was here for an extra sparkly drink/potion. Definitely on brand. For me, Battle & Brew is an odd space that could benefit from some editing. But, it looks like I am in the minority. I can agree with not being the target audience. I had heard about Battle & Brew for many years, but never got around to actually going. Me, my wife, and our two best friends went one day after dinner. I had an idea of what this place, but wasn't exactly sure what it all entailed. We walked in and were greeted by a large shelf or should I say shelves of a bunch of different board and card games. We walked to the register and told them we wanted to play some board/card games. I believe it was $7 per hour and then $35 for everything else. Everything else means all the video/electronic games. Think PS5, Switch, PC, Xbox. It was sooooo cool seeing everyone play all the different games. There were bigger groups, couples, people by themselves. It's truly a place where anyone can go and have a good time! We got some drinks (they have a really cool cocktail menu). They do have a food menu too, but we just came from dinner, so we only got drinks. Our service wasn't the best though. It took forever for someone to come and check on us, and no one came to fill our water the entire time we were there. Service could definitely be a lot better! Battle & Brew is in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. It's also pretty big too, so there is plenty of seating inside. If you're a gamer and haven't been here yet, where have you been?! I finally made it for trivia night and it was genuinely one of our most fun date nights in a while. There's plenty to enjoy no matter when you visit, but if you're going for an actual event, make a reservation through the site because seats fill up fast! Speaking of seats, yes, there's traditional restaurant and bar seating, but then there are also stations with those comfy gaming chairs (one of my favorite things, I swear!). The food was tasty, drinks were great, and I really enjoyed the spirit-free cocktail list too, because I feel like you don't see those enough. I was truly excited to try this place because it is such a cool concept. Went yesterday for dinner with my husband, daughter, and my friend and her daughter. We opted for the board games for $7 so that we could play together at the table while we ate, which is a great idea in theory but the execution left a lot to be desired. Most of the games we tried to play were old, dirty (yuck), and incomplete. For example, we were unable to play Guess Who because both the red and blue lineups were missing people and many of the people cards were torn into pieces. We were able to play What Do You Meme, but it was obvious that most of the meme cards were missing, so we had to stop abruptly when we ran out of new cards. Since people are eating and playing, effort should be made to keep the games clean, or at the very least, provide hand sanitizer at each table so that guests aren't grossed out about handling dirty game pieces in between grabbing bites of their sandwich or other finger food. I just feel like even though $7 for board game play is reasonable, it felt far less justifiable after experiencing the issues I just explained. If you are going to charge people any amount to use the games, ensuring that those games are complete and sanitary seems like a reasonable expectation. Service was okay but most of the food did not even meet the okay standard. We started with mozerrela sticks, which were okay. The fries with all our meals were obviously the frozen bagged kind you can find at any grocery store. They added seasoning but it's not enough to hide the fact that you are eating frozen fries at a sit down restaurant. My husband ordered the Don't Call It Hotlanta chicken sandwich and I think that was probably the best tasting thing we all ordered. I ordered the ATLA with cheese and did not like it very much. The bread was too crispy, the cheese was cold, and the overall flavor just didn't do it for me. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese with a side of fries. It does say on the menu that it is Kraft mac and cheese. She didn't complain, but she's 12 and not too picky so no surprise there. I had a soda water, my daughter had a sprite, and my husband had two mixed drinks (I think margaritas). Our total bill including the $7 for a crappy board game experience came out to $94 before tip. It was not worth it and I would never return for dinner nor can I recommend that others consider this a worthy dinner spot. Nevertheless, it would be a cool spot to come to with a big group of friends to play the computer and video games while enjoying a few drinks and maybe an appetizer or two. I could see that being a fun experience and would be open to returning to play the video games with friends or maybe one of their event nights like trivia that sounds like a good time, but I won't come back specifically for dinner because there are far better place to get a far superior meal for that price around here. So, at the end of the day, two stars is my review for the dinner and board game experience, but it would probably be closer to a 4 for just video games and drinks or events because I don't think there is anything else like it around here. Very well designed gaming spot! I love the wall murals. They have a large variety of board games on the shelves right when you walk in. There's also video games on the pc or console but that is per hour. We personally game in for the board games (it's $7 for the whole day but used to be $5 before inflation). Still worth it! I haven't heard of most games, but I wish there was a way to recommend some popular games that they should have. I couldn't give it a five stars because one of the games was missing a whopping 14 cards (the odd ones out board games). So I wish they took care of them a bit more or a way for people to let staff know if something is missing or wrong. They have a drink and food menu. The soft serve is unlimited refills. Battle and brew is a fun spot for a game night or event! We've been a couple of times for their trivia nights and for game nights and both have been great! Trivia does get pretty popular so make sure you have a reservation or arrive early to get a table! They also have plenty of games both on the computer, tv, or board games, so anyone can find something to do if you're not there for trivia. The drinks are also fantastic and they have a lot of options both with alcohol & nonalcoholic! The only thing that is a bit disappointing is the food. Visited while in town for a concert. It seemed like a good opportunity to check out all the themed cocktails and see what exactly a gaming restaurant looks like. For the first time they explain how things work and the costs. For less than $10 you can play games they have there or spend a bit more to have a digital gaming station. The concept is cool as it making gaming a far more social experience. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich was okay, but not as lemon peppery as I hoped and unfortunately my fries were awful maybe over fried or something. My sister's fries were better. Once our food arrived our server did stop by one more time but we didn't see her again. I actually had to track her down to get the check so we could leave. They took more reservations than they could handle and still took walk ins. Then they over filled but they gave people standing room. Our server Kevin was so funny and helpful! I love how he took care of us. We came for trivia night (PlayStation) hoping to win free Dreamhack tickets for this year. We did not unfortunately. The bun was disintegrating as a was eating it . The fries was good and brownie (I had it without ice cream, and stayed long enough to taste a good bit of the menu items). They have the Mana, Health, Stamina and Estus potions. We tried them all and they were actually pretty good and strong. As per food, they got a little bit of everything for bar food. We tried their chicken tenders & tater tots and the chicken is actually pretty good! We sat in couch with the consoles and our orders were taken from here and delivered by our server. I've been going here for years and now I conveniently live very close by to it. A nice nerd bar where you can eat, drink and play games. The food is mostly standard bar food but they have some Asian and brunch style dishes as well. They have a fully stock bar and a huge variety of beer and specialty drink offerings and non-alcoholic cocktails too. I don't think I can remember a time where I didn't like the food that I've had but I always seem to get the dragon talons with sweet potato fries or tater tots. The talons are basically massive chicken fingers and I typically get it with either yum yum sauce or the gochujang aioli. They have a pretty nice variety of video games you can play as well that you pay by the hour. Unfortunately they have increased their prices over the years so I don't really come to play games anymore but if you have a group with you, then it's not as bad because you can split the cost. This really looks like it will be a cool place. They basically charge you by the hour for game time... but at least when we were here it was pretty busy and they were short on staff so it took too long to get things... switch games drinks, food... even if it takes 10 mins each time and you switch a game twice that is a third of your hour spent on waiting. We got some chicken baskets, some mozzarella sticks, and a cheese burger. The food was passable but nothing special and certainly nothing to write about. This is a venue for playing video games and having drinks. The sad thing is we paid over 200 for an hour and a half of game time, to eat food that was not worth the money, and to sit and wait for stuff while our time ticked away. Maybe coming here on Saturdays is a bad idea. And honestly we have most of what they have in games already at home. We hosted an adult surprise birthday party here due to its flexibility and ability to accommodate large groups. We don't take that for granted, because in Atlanta, this is extremely hard to find. Aliecia, the coordinator was very easy to communicate with and she accommodated us well. In my opinion, their party packages are a very good value. It includes time to gaming, a full buffet, and drink tickets for all the guests. Everyone left full, they don't skimp on the serving sizes. The drinks were good, too! I personally enjoyed Ryuk's Delight. It was well balanced and had a bit of a cinnamon spice to it. I have been meaning to come here for years. I can't believe it took a spontaneous decision after Chinese food for it to happen. My 3 friends and I came in on Saturday night, and it was pretty busy. They said the wait for a table was at least an hour. You can see walking around that most of the tables weren't actually occupied, but I assumed they had a wait because of limited waitstaff. The staff informed us we could take a seat at the PC screens and that's where we ended up staying the whole night. One of my friends suggested the Rainbow Dash cocktail, and I was so happy to have been persuaded. It tasted like cotton candy and I got a second round. I really had no idea what to expect. I came with a group of 6 on a Saturday evening. We made a reservation which we realized was just for a food table. That wasn't a big deal because we were able to put our name on the game waitlist while we ate. Beware that they do get pretty busy at night. I had a dish with glass noodles (can't remember the name), that was pretty good and filling. I think everyone else felt like their food was good, not great. I know some in the group didn't love their cocktails. I think some of the drinks were made with a premade mix which is never as good. I did enjoy the couch/living room type sections. If you are not a gamer this place can still be for you. The stir fry was delicious! The staff was attentive and on top of our needs and boy did we continue to have needs. Being that I'm not into playing games in anyway I sat at the table and scrolled my phone while the kids enjoyed there computer. As I sat there I could only think about the germs that had to be crawling on all the controllers, keyboards, and mouses. I'm the master of finding fun places to eat, but Battle & Brew is a TKO. In North Atlanta, this restaurant and bar has games galore and nerdy-themed food. We played console games for two hours while drinking health potions and noshing on comfort food. It was the most fun I've had at dinner in a long time. The drinks are very fun and very sweet. Everything is very themed and funny. The potions come in a round potions bottle with edible glitter!! They had cocktails, shots, wine, beer and sodas. I tried the Sailor Chirbi Chirbi Mocktail, which was probably my favorite drink. Can we all have a moment for mocktails? Thank goodness we have fun zero alcohol options. The food was delicious!! Lots of comfort food. The burgers and chicken sandwiches looked so yummy. To top it all off, they have a sauces menu. Seriously, this place is so good. They even have gluten-free and vegetarian options. I was able to find allergy-friendly items. My only wish was to have gluten-free buns to try a burger - a girl's gotta dream. So the games are really why you come. They have a full menu of console games, PC games, board games and arcade games. You pay by the hour for access for different sized groups. The have 2 person tables with gamer chairs and couches for larger groups. It's a brilliant setup. So well thought out. The only thing missing was being called to bed by our moms. I'm always entertained to enter BnB regardless of gaming, people watching, fun activities or just chill with a few cocktails on hand. The food isn't the greatest. Can be very salty, overbearing with the rice vinegar on the Korean Japchae or tasteless for the burger meats. The desserts can be extremely sweet. But, enough variety to keep you steered away from hunger. The sweet potato fries with marshmallow dip is usually the way to go for finger foods. Always the crowd pleaser. Some fun activities to participate will be the Mini's & Mead, occasional event Cosplays throughout the year or a game of Magic on Thursdays.
