Not sure what happened to this place.. food today was not good. They were out of several things.. Ordered fish and chips and fries was cold, fish was not as crispy as it used to be. My hubs ordered country fried steak with mashed potatoes and potatoes were disgusting. Hard as If they are old and refried, over seasoned with garlic powder and just not good. Chicken was still raw and uncooked. After we were told they would comp our meal waitress then came back and said they would only comp the one meal. Then after 20 min we had to ask if they were going to bring us another chicken so we could finish our meal together and they said they never started another chicken so it would be another 20 min. I want to like Legends. There are few decent restaurants in the Molalla area. However, out of the dozen times I've been there, they have been out of menu items every time. On our last visit, they didn't put bacon in my bacon mac n cheese. I asked about it, and they said they needed to prepare more bacon. 10 minutes later, I ate luke warm mac n cheese and sprinkled my own bacon on top. My wife and I have been dining here for several years. The Prime Rib is the best I've ever had. That's saying a lot because I drove truck all over the U S A and have had Prime Rib in many States and Legends is by far the Best I've ever had. Best meal I've had in over a year! We went for Mother's Day and the Special Mother's Day menu did not disappoint. We ordered the prime rib and beef Wellington. If I could take a special trip down to this restaurant once a week for that beef Wellington I would, best I've ever had! The brownie Sunday for dessert was over the top good. I heard they got a new head chef, what an amazing meal. If we lived any closer we would be in trouble. Our waitress was awesome and super accommodating as well. Can't wait to go back! Been coming here for Happy Hour food with colleagues for a few years now. Witnessed the transition from the old Arrowhead grill to the current Legends Bar and Grill. I really like what they have done with the place! It's a good setting with the restaurant part separate from the bar. The restaurant part is well decorated and very homey feeling. The old bar part is still nice with good views of the golf course. Overall, we come for the food. They have an amazing amount of food on their Happy Hour menu for such good prices! I had delicious boneless chicken wings with sauces on the side. You get 6 for only $5! Also shared a large portion of tots with colleague and those were literally under $2. Cannot be beat! They have many other things on the menu to choose from and I look forward to trying them in the future. What's really nice about this place is that you don't have to buy a drink to get the food. In the Mulino / Molalla area if you want a little upscale, then "Legends" is the eatery of choice. The bar is where I always eat, and the view of the golf course contributes to a pleasant ambiance. I've had just about everything on the menu and would recommend the Prime Rib at the high end and the club sandwich as a great choice. Great service and good food. I had the fish tacos and hubby had the club sandwich. Fish tacos were very good. So much food I could not eat it all. Hubbys club sandwich was, in his words," the best damn club he has ever had". Service was awesome. Was checked on and drink refills were quick. We will be coming back. Worst mother's day buffet ever. Selection of food was terrible. Way over priced. Didn't include any coffee or juice. And then on top of this they automatically added a 18% tip for someone to pick up your dirty plates and refill drinks. And my plate was never picked up. We just went to Legends bar and grill tonight. They have been doing some nice remodeling, but the food and service is getting bad. I had a rib eye steak that was mostly fat and gristle. It took our waiter 10-15 minutes to greet us, then 5 more minutes for water. Didn't take drink order at that point. Came back in 10 more minutes and asked if we would like to order drinks. We all said yes! Let me get my order book.......shouldn't that be a part of you during your whole shift? Drinks finally came. At this point we had been there about a half hour. A while later he came back and asked if we were ready to order food. We all said yes. He said ok, then took off again. He waited on 3 other tables before he came and took our order. They were reasonably busy, but not packed! Food took a while and the noodles had been sitting under the heat lamps so they were rubbery. Everyone had finished their meal, no one cleared the empty plates for 20-30 minutes after we were done. Then the check came. Be sure to look at your check! They slip in the automatic 18% tip, hoping you won't see it and add some extra to it. Honestly this guy didn't deserve 2%. At one point during our stay, I went to the restroom. Walking by the bar, our waiter was just standing around talking with the rest of the staff. I guess that was more important than taking care of his customers. We were there for 2 1/2 hours. Not once did he say"I'm sorry for the long wait". We use to go there a few times a month, but we won't be back. For the time it took, we could have went to Oregon City or Canby and had better service. read more

Been so busy to write a review. Went for breakfast on Saturday. Erin was working you have the golden ticket there she is delightful. Greeted us immediately when we walked in. Had drinks and water so fast. We never wanted for anything. Will for sure be our new breakfast spot. She has restored our loyalty to legends. I have never had a meal here I didn't like. The portions are very generous. I have tried many dishes here but my favorite is the cesar salad. It is so big I can always split it with someone and still feel full! So delicious. Sometimes the kitchen service can be a bit slow but I believe they may be short staffed in the kitchen.
