This group is beyond welcoming and supportive, from the instructors to other gym members and their families. The instructors are phenomenal.

Luke was our personal trainer for 6 months before he moved to Temple (from Houston). Prior to…read moreworking with Luke, neither my fiancée nor I worked out regularly. His approach was to build up our strength and movements gradually to make sure our bodies could adjust. He was very cautious about not causing injury and took the time to explain the background and science behind muscle movements, strength training, importance of stretching and other components. Our workout schedule was 3 times a week and we both noticed marked improvements in our strength and muscle tone. We initially started with light weights, but improved to the point where we were using 20/25lbs weights with no problem on certain exercises. In addition to the improvements and progression we noticed in our training, we absolutely loved working with Luke. He is very genuine and truly cares about helping his clients. He was a bright spot in our lives three times a week.

I can't recommend Luke enough. He worked with my two elementary school children until his career…read moremoved him out of Houston. Luke created friendly, motivating, and fun sessions that helped us reach our fitness goals for our kids. One of our desires was to empower the kids to own their own strength and wellness. We also wanted them to get into the habit of finding active things to do, even when it's not aerial day, or a great outdoors day. Luke has a warm personality while also being strong and inspiring. He knows his craft well and follows high morals. Luke also happens to be a family man and served in the navy, which speaks to his standards.

I could not be happier with the facility, the instructors, the lessons and the discipline that my son is learning. The teachers are both awesome and patient with all students no matter the size of the class they have for the day. My 6 year old son is in both jiu jitsu and tae kwon do classes; both of which he loves! I think my son will be coming here for many many years. Thanks Strike and Submit for teaching my son self defense, discipline and building his confidence! My daughter will probably start classes once I feel she is old enough. I highly highly recommend this facility for both boys and girls of all ages!

I have a 12-year-old daughter who was not very interested in the general sports so I suggested that perhaps she would like martial arts and the first two weeks she wanted to quit, but I told her to wait and give it more time and about the fourth week into it she was absolutely in love with the sport. We just completed our first NAGA tournament with the guidance of Professor Phil, and she loved it. Both Aaron and Phil Are natural teachers when it comes to working with children. They push the children physically, encourage them to give their best, and they don't hand out participation awards. You earn what you get! I highly recommend that if you're looking for a school with dedicated instructors and a dedicated team that you check the school out.

I would definitely recommend others to check out the Rancier location. The Harker Heights location gets 1-star, and the earlier review still applies. When I went by the Harker Heights location--it is closer to my home--to get information on classes and costs and was told I would have to pay $20 for an introductory course and BASIC information on classes, cost and schedule. Watched the instructor leave his class standing around unattended while he went to his car to get more practice swords. No a very professional look for a martial arts school. The evening class at the Harker Heights location supposedly teaches all ages, 5 and up, to include grown ups. But they were playing a silly game of blind man's bluff with a foam sword as I walked up to the school. If I was an adult taking a class there I would think that a waste of my time and money. Most martial arts schools offer a product (a martial arts style) that draws students to the school. Students who want to study a style just want to know when, where, and how much. Silly games of withholding information turn serious students off.
