The class had between 10-15 students, and I felt comfortable. Other students were helpful to make space for my mat and to make sure I had all the props I needed. Yes, they do have props available to borrow. Serena was very aware and noticed when I looked around for visual guidance. She casually gave the instruction that I needed... more than once. With an unlimited, short-term class pass that I bought, I will attend other class styles to find at least one regular class type that I like. I live within 15 minutes so am really glad to find something nearby.

I spoke with the owner for 30 minutes about the classes , instructors and the history of the studio and decided after that conversation this will be my new yoga home. The studio is easy to find. Very intimate space and the individuals that practice there are very welcoming. A variety of classes and workshops are offered so it spices up your practice. I'm excited about class tomorrow!! My friend…read moreasked me if I wanted to do an easy or hard class, and I told her I wanted to do a hard one thinking it couldn't be that bad. I was wrong. The burn was unreal. It was a total body workout with a lot of lower body (incredibly painful), a good amount of abs, and some upper body at the end. My friend has the most basic membership that costs $145/month for 8 classes. This seems like a reasonable price for group classes. The studio has other kinds of classes too, like spin, yoga, and HIIT. The instructor was nice, and she explained how to use the reformer. She came to correct and assist me a few times, which was helpful. One thing I struggled with was that there were no beginner modifications given at all. There were only normal options given with advanced modifications. It would have been nice to have the option to use a lower resistance or do an easier modification. While I know I could just adjust the resistance on my own, I would feel like I'm not following the instructions correctly by doing so. There was also no cooldown or stretch at the end of the class, which I am normally used to in fitness classes. Apparently it costs around $18 to buy a pair of grip socks on site. You can get a pack of three for $10 on Amazon, so I think this discrepancy is unreasonable. I understand that boutique studios want to sell boujee, high-quality gear, but they should at least have something affordable especially for the people who are just trying out their first class. I would much rather wear some used (but washed) loaner socks than pay that much for a "fancy" pair. I have heard about people not being aware they had to bring their own grip socks to class, so they were cajoled into buying socks at the studio.

Soldiers, cross-fitters, runners, and many superb athletes will start the class fresh and leave exhausted. This is not to say that this class is exclusively for athletes as many beginners will enjoy the challenges. She will take the time to teach appropriate alignments and postures. Check it out!

She greeted us outside with the biggest smile before we could even get out the car. I knew instantly we were at the right place. We are both beginners. The routine was friendly and easy going. It had us at such a state of bliss I found myself crying mid session. It was amazing. This has to be the best date and pre birthday gift this man could've ever thought of. They won't be able to get rid of me now. If you are thinking about doing yoga do it and if you are in the Killeen/Heights/Cove area check them out. Amy is absolutely amazing at this.

They offer yoga for all levels of experience and are military friendly. They offer free classes to AC Military as well and instructor classes too! This is the only yoga place I've found in Harker Heights and I still have yet to feel the need to go else where. Must go! See you there!

Super clean like every other location I've been to. I love having the ability to switch up my workouts between the 45-minute classes and the 15-minute HIIT workouts. The free weight area is the perfect size to get your reps in while adding even more variety. Obviously, a traditional gym is not the focus here, so they don't have every machine. You still have what you need to get a good lift in though. The weather in Temple can be bad, which can mess up Bluetooth access and WiFi for classes. One of the members mentioned a Facebook page which helps during bad weather stints. Love being a Hot Worx member!
