Came in for lunch on a Sunday, it was quiet with only a few customers. Lots of TVs playing sports if you're into that. Our server was super sweet and made sure to check in with us often. We tried the chicken chimichurri bowl, tropical margaritas, onion burger and the mahi tacos. The marg was a little strong but my husband drank it for me. This was our second visit to this Legends location. I was sad to see some of the vegetarian options are no longer in the menu, like the falafel. I had the lunch grilled cheese and tomato... it was good, but the cheese wasn't melted enough. The tots were great! S got the Chimichurri pork bowl from the lunch menu. Good value and good flavor. Drinks are a bit more expensive than an average sports bar, but they have a few all-day deals which is nice. Decent draft beer options including Barrel of Monks (yum!). Server was great. It was good, and had a lot of flavor! I would get it again. The only thing was the burger literally kept falling apart and I had to pick the pieces and put it back into the bun constantly. The service was terrible; our server was basically nonexistent. The food: Sheet pan nachos: 1/5, do not recommend these. There was barely any cheese, it was basically just tortilla chips with vegetables. The chips were not layered well, so it was a huge lump of plain chips and the top chips had all the vegetables. The jalapeños would have been better if they were fresh. The only good thing was the chicken. Do not order this. Mozzarella sticks: 4/5, good cheese pull and flavorful breading. My only complaint was that the breading was way too thick. Boneless wings: 5/5, these wings saved our experience here. They were crispy on the outside, and the chicken was juicy on the inside. We came for a soccer game and let me tell you this place was truly a vibe. It was str8 bumpin from the moment we walked in. We had buckets of beer and food for lunch while watching the game. The manager or owner took to the mic to hype the crowd up during the game. This made it a fun experience. If we lived near we would come back. They have a sign on each TV so you know what game will be shown on it. They have a seasonal Oktoberfest menu and I had to order the Bavarian pretzel. It was a great one! The times we have gone here it has surprisingly been quite tame crowdwise. No complaints on that. The decor inside is your typical bar and grill, but it's definitely nice. I haven't personally attended, but I do hear from time to time they have certain event nights such as bar trivia. I definitely want to give that a shot, lol. Our food did come fast and the staff was super nice. For being in a strip mall Legends is also pleasantly decorated with booths, high tops, indoor, and outdoor seating. The food however, is just not that good. I knew the menu was limited before we went. There is strict bar food: Burgers, fries, sandwiches (no entrees, and just a some salads). I opted for a garden salad with chicken. Tasted like salad out of a bag and the chicken was dry. Husband got the Cowboy Burger, which is like a coronary disaster: pulled pork, burger, cheese, onion rings. He said the burger was just ok without much flavor, but the pulled pork was better. 18 year old's Caesar Wrap was passable. The best item we ordered was the wings that we shared as an appetizer. They had a nice crispness and the sauce was good. In our quest to support small business, we hit up Legends. The ambiance was cool (as there was an Arsenal-Manchester soccer match going on). We were seated right away. The server was initially pretty cool. Cue ordering our food. The chef must have had a long happy hour or something cause they were lackin'. We ordered some pork belly bites; they weren't tender. Way too long in the fryer. And the tortilla strips as the bed of the pork belly bites were straight out of a plastic bag. Not fresh. We then ordered smashburgers. They were nothing but. Overcooked as if they were trying to kill the cow twice. As we told the server this, her response was "yeah it is a smashburger, it's a single patty. Whatever you say it is". Just had to pause on that one before I made her cry. The manager came over, and had a similar explanation. I wanted to google a photo of a smashburger for them to stop the back and forth. Instead we paid the tab and left. This is the reason people rather go to chains than small biz these days in post-pandemic world. It's not hard to be nice. This spot has a a nice chill vibe, we were immediately greeted by the hostess, she gave us the option of table preference and sat us right away. Our waitress shortly came and introduced herself and had a pleasant upbeat attitude our entire visit. We started off with mozzarella sticks but ehhh tasted like the frozen ones I get from the grocery store and a little over cooked. One of my daughters ordered chicken tenders with fries which she said was good. My other daughter ordered the wings which had no flavor, the sauce was all at the bottom of the plate so she was kinda disappointed. As for my burger it was very tasty, loads of flavor! I paid extra for tots instead of fries which I regretted because as you can see the portion was small. My recommendation is come here for the burgers. Anyways to the food: everything was great. The appetizers were pleasing. The wings were good although I was a bit disappointed that the mango habanero dauce was not super spicy, and I have had it before and it seema like they toned down the heat a lot for the sake of flavor. GF had the black bean burger and she said it was average, and her fries were too salty. As for the beers we cant complain, they were cold and refreshing. I unfortunately was not impressed by this restaurant. When I walked in, the greeters were sitting at a table and did not try to get up to help. I felt our waitress was not happy about working there. I don't expect them to be fake and happy go lucky, but some personality would be nice. The drinks were ok- I like a heavy pour but I just wasn't impressed. The food was also just ok. I feel like I could have had better food service and drinks somewhere comparable like twin peaks. I also came on a Saturday at 6 pm and there were only about 3 other tables that had people sitting. Service has been spot on (Shout out to Samantha, you are killing it out here) and the food has been amazing so far. Top items have been the Tuscan chicken sandwich, burger and the ribs. I can come back and eat that Tuscan sandwich a thousand times! Drinks are also reasonably priced and hits all the right spots for you drinkers. Wednesday is also Whiskey Wed so $5 drinks. Our food is delicious, it took about 10 minutes for waitress to take our order. When the waitress came to our table she seemed exhausted. She conveyed her concerns about management. The waitress stated, that all management was in a meeting so, the wait staff had to bus tables, deliver food, and take orders. They felt overwhelmed and abandoned by their managers. I came here with some family the other night & we all really enjoyed it. As we walked in we were greeted right away even though the waitress was busy seating someone else. After seating those guests she came back over & got us our booth very quickly. Overall, I enjoyed it but I felt like there was a little too much going on. Everything on the hot dog tasted great, along with the dog itself, but it was so stuffed that it made it hard to keep everything in the bun. The challah roll bun was grilled to perfection which gave it a nice crunch. The hotdog was nice & juicy/flavorful throughout. I think the only thing that I wasn't a big fan of was the amount of celery salt on it (I'm not crazy about extra salt on my food in general though). All of our meals came with a generous portion of shoestring fries that I loved. They were nice & crispy on the outside but also fluffy on the inside. I noticed a handful of tables weren't bussed down but luckily it wasn't a problem because they weren't very busy at the time we came. Aside from that, the actual restaurant was very clean. Our server was great to start but he got lost about halfway through & didn't really come by until the end of our meal. I could see where this place would deserve 5 stars but those things can keep it from getting that.
