So there we were in Davie, FL, doing a little late-night reconnaissance after checking out the Hard Rock Live Guitar Hotel. Morrissey, 1/22/26, final curtain of his U.S. tour. It's 1am on a Wednesday night, we're starving after a long flight from San Antonio, and most places are shutting down. Enter Geronimo's Grill & Bar. At first glance, it's got that divey, don't-overthink-it look...but trust me, it grows on you fast. We got lucky snagging two seats at the bar, and right away the place felt welcoming. True neighborhood energy. Quick note for the sound guys: the music was a little harsh and spacey; speakers mounted against a boxy enclosure (probably housing electrical). Some insulation or soundproofing would clean that crackle right up. Okay... nerd moment over. Beer situation: * Modelo on draft * One with Tajín & lime, one plain * Both served ice-cold in pint glasses exactly what the moment called for... The bar staff? Friendly, dialed-in, and chill. As the night rolled on, the place slowly came alive...clearly a landing spot for industry folks once everything else closes. Total local watering hole vibes. Now let's talk food...because this is where Geronimo's really shines. We ordered: Potato skins 20 wings (10 buffalo hot, 10 medium) Hands down, some of the best wings we've had on our travels. Open-grilled, then fried to absolute perfection. Not massive wings, but the flavor and cook were on point. Worth every bite. House ranch and bleu cheese were legit too. The potato skins? Perfect balance of cheese and bacon, sour cream on the side...simple and executed right. Then... the curveball. A patron next to us orders a basket of pork rinds. We're intrigued. These come out sprinkled with Tajín, served with a Cajun ranch....and HOLY HELL. Absolute FIRE!!! . Crispy, hot, insanely addictive. I'm already scheming how to recreate these back in San Antonio. Everything hit the table hot, fresh, and timely. By round two, Geronimo's felt like home base--that bar you can count on when it's late, you're hungry, and everywhere else is dark. Bottom line: Looks sketchy? Don't overthink it. Come for the ice-cold beer, stay for the fried wings, and let the night take care of itself. Cool little spot. Solid locals bar. This is a really fun bar. The vibe is upbeat, and the music is good. The crowd seemed a bit too young for my preference, lots of young 20s, nevertheless you'll still have a good time with the people you go with. For an established that is open as late as they are, we were told by the bartender that after 10pm, they no longer serve drinks in actual glass wear. I ordered a watermelon martini which arrived in a clear plastic cup, half filled and not presented the way a martini should... that threw off my vibe and the experience of having a martini, it was not even consumed, I left it how it arrived. Food was good according to my friends, especially their mini corn dogs and French fries. The staff is nice, a bit on the slower side, prepare to stand at the bar waiting to place your drinks order. I love that they have darts boards available for the guests, for a small fee of course. I have friends who swear by the wings here, so obviously, I had to check them and the wings out. It was populated for a Sunday night, as if no one had to work the next day (maybe they don't?), but not super crowded so that the hostess seated us right away. The became full the later it became, so I can see it being packed on the busier days and game days. You have at least a few screens to watch no matter where you sit, so you don't have a bad seat to eat and watch whatever game you want. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and the smoked wings (10 in the order), and they took over a half hour to come out. Our server was attentive to come by telling us the dishes will take a little more time and asking a few times how we were doing. The food was worth the wait though. The wings certainly seemed like they came straight off the smoker because they were piping hot with steam coming off when you bit into a wing. Each one had plenty of juicy meat to bite off. The dry rub was jerk like with slight peppery heat and coated eat hefty bit of wing. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls came out fancier than expected, cut diagonally in half long ways so they looked like bites for a fancy reception. But the melted cheddar brought it back to the bar feel. The two dishes were plenty to share and feel full, so I'll have to come back for the whole rest of the menu! This restaurant is a good place to watch sporting events and grab a nice sized burger. I would not recommend high-end cocktails but the food here is pretty dang tasty. The happy hour is basic nothing too exciting to note. A mid-scale sports bar in the Town of Davie. Been here a few times for parties on the outside patio which have many tables and monitors to watch sports. Love the scattered sports and cocktail decor strategically positioned around the center bar which is definitely the focal point of this place. Stopped in for Happy Hour with a few friends. Couldn't decide if we wanted to sit outside or inside. Ended up sitting inside which was nicely decorated with high tops surrounding a huge bar area. It was however freezing inside, bring a jacket. The waiter who was friendly came over and took our orders. They had a happy hour drink and food menu as well as their regular menu. I ordered the chicken Cesar wrap that I probably wouldn't order again. It had white meat chicken cooked fresh but had little lettuce and tasted dry. Had to order extra dressing to dip it in. The French fries however were cooked to perfection seasoned well and very crispy. My husband had the have rack rib special with onion rings that looked amazing. He love the ribs and the flavor. Our friends had the mushroom burger that was huge and flavorful. They both agreed they would return to have another. My only complaint believe it or not were the cheap napkins. Came back to Geronimo's and once again, they did not disappoint. Their menu is pretty lengthy but everything I have tried has been consistently delicious. This time around, I went for the penne chicken alfredo and the baby back ribs. The alfredo was creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The chicken was tender and actually seasoned. And the ribs fell off the bone, good with a smoky glaze that was delicious. Even with so many options, it is clear they put effort into each dish. I am shocked that it's taken me this long to review Geronimos. It truly is the best sports bar in Florida for me and I visit once a month. Their extensive and generous happy hour is 7 days a week. On the list is an elevated version of every bar food you could think of. Off the happy hour side I will get my favorite spinach dip with pieces of feta. If you love wings then you need to order the dry rub smoked wings (not the regular ones). Hands down, the BEST wings I have ever had! They fall off the bone, I can pull off chunks of the giant wings in my hands. If you have a group of friends and want to go out to dinner, come here. 3am and need a place to go for a $4 beer? Come here. Clearly, I'm a fan and their biggest fan. I have been coming since they were in their last location in davie. My ONE request would be to please bring back the artichoke oreganata. I've been living in Davie for a year and a half and learned about this place through a friend. We went there a couple of nights ago to grab a drink and catch up. The location is casual and laid back. They have several large tvs inside and in the outdoor patio; so it's a great place to watch a game or fight night. I ordered a lemon drop martini with Hendricks and it was nice and strong (my favorite). I also ordered the jumbo wings medium and they were delicious! Our bartender was very nice and accommodating. Such an awfully good and tasty combination! The burger was cooked well done and really hit the spot with the combination of bacon, lettuce, tomato & onion! Carmen provided excellent service to a few first timers and definitely made us feel at home and leaving us wanting to come back for more. I've come here a couple of times now for lunch and I enjoy it. I recall coming here once years ago on a Saturday night, and it was crazy busy, so lunchtime is more my scene, lol. I was here earlier this week with my sister, and we enjoyed our time here. We were greeted and informed to sit anywhere we'd like. Our waitress was great and very on top of checking on us and getting refills or anything else that we needed. We ordered off with a couple of drinks and an appetizer of mozzarella sticks. I ordered a mojito, and my sister ordered the lychee martini. Usually, mojitos for me can be hit or miss, but I enjoyed mine and appreciated that the mint flavor was enough to taste it and not be overwhelming for the rest of the drink. The lychee martini was surprisingly good. I was hesitant as I was expecting it to taste too sweet, but it actually was a subtle but refreshing drink. Our mozzarella sticks came quick, and they were cooked perfectly. The breading was crunchy, and the inside cheese was melted just right without being too stiff inside like other places. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It comes initially with coleslaw, but you are able to substitute for something like fries, which is what I did. I'm glad I did because the fries were delicious. Evenly seasoned, great crisp bite, and were just perfect without needing any ketchup. The pulled pork sandwich was extremely tender and falling apart because of that! Super messy yet savory and absolutely heavenly. I am grateful that each of the tables has a napkin container! Overall, we had a great lunch, amazing food, and all at an awesome price. This is now becoming one of my top places to grab a hearty meal when I want to go out and eat for lunch! read more

The ambiance was nice and the food options were very nice. A lot to choose from and many selections. The ribs were super saucy and the baked potatoe was yum. However the cheese plate , ( not sure of the name , was Greek sounding.) read pretty good on the menu and the presentation was very cool and surprising but was hard to enjoy. The restaurant has a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere with a "Cheers" kind of vibe. (And if you're too young to get that reference, are you even old enough to drink from their full bar? Lol! ) I was impressed by their variety of specials: daily, lunch, and happy hour, offering great value for quality food. Everything we ordered hit the spot: the spinach dip, fried pickles, and, of course, the smoked wings, which were so tender the meat practically fell off the bone. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors, especially the lemon pepper. They gained bonus points for having plenty of parking and for their late-night hours. Came in to a mostly empty restaurant. Put in a few dishes and the wait time was excessive for the uncomplicated order (ex: kids pizza took 30 minutes) given that nobody was here. Most of the dishes came out in a very staggered way. After a 40 minute wait, we were told that they don't have pasta and can't make a kids buttered noodle. Not sure how that's possible or how that took so long to uncover. I have been to Geronimos a few times mostly for happy hours and some bar food. The space is quite large and has a huge bar in the center surrounded by booth seating. There is also an outdoor space that is also nice. The bar offers an extensive beer selection both on tap and in bottle, so if you are a beer drinker, this is definitely a place for you! They also have a full bar of other liquor options to meet your needs. Happy hour features lots of great specials on beer, wine and well drinks. There is also a happy hour menu with some food options. This time in particular I went for the fried zucchini sticks that come with a side of marinara. Fried to perfection and still actually tasted like zucchini so just enough breading! Would definitely recommend for a nice shareable snack with some beer! The service is also great. We had prompt service at the bar and they were quick to get our drinks and take our food orders. For a crowded Friday after work crowd, the food also came out really quickly. Would definitely recommend for a late night bar stop or an after work happy hour. Perfect for large groups! read more

Can't wait to go back.. their menu has a large variety and everything sounded better than the next! We actually stumbled onto this place after given a coupon for it at a festival in davie. The coupon was for 1 free drink or appetizer... can't pass up that great deal! We ordered the cheesy tomato bread and honey garlic fried wings. Both were VERY good! The atmosphere reminds me of a real true neighborhood bar. Old school with decorations placed throughout for the holiday. This holiday coming up happens to be St. Patrick's and they were really nicely decorated! I may end up there on St. Patrick's The ambiance of the bar is dark which is nice if that's what you like. They also have a nice outdoor seating area. Our bartender wasn't customer oriented and was a little cold but overall service was decent for sitting at a bar. Hailey is an amazing Servicer with a GREAT personality. The food is good but, honestly, Hailey and her awesome personality made the visit. We got here about 4:30 pm on a Tuesday, nice and open seating. I am always happy to have a great seat selection. The music is definitely a variety. I enjoyed the 90's too 40. Clean music. Upon arrival, we didn't think the inside of the restaurant was going to be like the inside judging from the outside. I mean inside was spacious and decorative. We thought it was just a small building. Anywaysssss we came on ladies night apparently. My sister was so happy because they had select alcoholic drinks complimentary until 2 am. Sucks to be a man. Lol. Pricing and selection on food wasn't all that great tho. We kept asking our server for more time. We just ordered basic comfort foods like pizza, mini corn dogs, chicken tenders, and spinach dip. All which tasted mediocre. We were also supposed to get a pitcher of beer with our pizza that night but never did. The server said it was something new so I believe it by her body language. Service was great by the way!
