Do not do business with this POS establishment! To even brows this store they REQUIRE you to scan your ID. I refuse to let them scan my ID and Catalog my personal information. Why do they need my personal information? They don't!! I showed the lady my ID so she could verify I am over 21 which is required but I should not have to submit my personal information to their computer. Decent selection of liquor. It's nice that they offer a taste of the booze of their choice. Why the two stars? My mind is boggled by the kind of liquor store where you're asked for your ID as soon as you walk in and your ID is scanned. I'm a huge beer connoisseur from the Midwest and recently came from Minneapolis, MN which was a beer lovers paradise. I'd be lying if I said the beer quality and selection is anywhere close to what it is in other parts of the country but Legion Liquors provides the best beer selection overall in the area. Some places have more quantity but Legion has the best quality and they carry some really hard to get beers (seasonal/limited releases) such as Bourbon County line, Hopslam and KBS to name a few. Every time I message them via Facebook they are always timely with a response. Yes it's annoying to show ID immediately upon walking in but the beer selection makes up for it. read more

I have been buying here for a few months, as my wife and I just moved here. We live very close to the store so it was convenient to go somewhere close. We absolutely loved it at first. There was a man in there that was clean cut telling and teaching me about whiskeys and showing me around. Had a great time and bought several bottles I was excited to try! Well...the next time I went in to tell him how they were. I was sad to not see him there, but instead a woman that was very rude. My experience was nothing like the first at all. I was expecting the same professionalism as the first but instead was let down tremendously, as I felt so unwelcome. I will most definitely not recommend this liquor store for service at all! read more

Call ahead to make sure they had what I wanted, and the girl who answered was super helpful. When I got here, they asked for my ID right away (even though I'm over 40 ... Great for self-esteem!) and then one of the ladies went and got everything I was wondering about and helped me put it in the car! Very best customer service ever! This review is mainly to do with my frustration with the wine selection, or lack their of, and it's odd arrangement. This is the only store I have ever seen that groups it's bottles of wine by brand. If I want a merlot from Washington or something I have to search the whole store and even then I'm disappointed by the selection. The selection mainly consists of sugar saturated, sulfite ruined, garbage bottom shelf wines like barefoot and Stella. Now I understand that those might be your top selling bracket, but that doesn't guide your decisions in the rest of the store and stop you from selling higher dollar, better selections of liquor and beer. Why must the wine selection suffer? I've been disappointed too many times going there that I really wanted to alert people to avoid this place if you actual enjoy wine and not just alcohol laced sugar water. read more

This has to be the most put together liquor store I have ever been in. They ask you for your ID when you walk-in. They have different tasters of drinks which was nice. The staff was genuinely nice and helpful. There prices were a little high but overall it was a decent liquor store. read more

This place has a really nice set up, it's clean and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I love the bourbon selection but it could be better. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is their scotch selection being terrible but I can't really knock them because people don't drink scotch to get drunk. I also hate that they ID right when you come in the door, I've been in higher end liquor stores in over a dozen states and all over Kentucky and Tennessee and I've NEVER seen this practice, it's not a club...chill out Legion. Love this local business - I'm a craft beer fan and if you ask, they will show you a list of breweries by state that they can order beer from. They'll take your requests and call you when the order arrives! I appreciate supporting a small business that remembers you when you walk in the door and points out the new specialty brews that they've gotten in since your last visit that fit your style.
