I don't generally leave negative commentary. However, I would not recommend, nor will I be returning. I was UNABLE to find sangiovese, due to lack of proper labeling of regional varietals. No one even ASKED ME if I required help, even though I am disabled. ALL of the wines are standing up, aside from the wines in the encasement. If you have wines standing up, then it causes it to be much harder to remove the cork. If I'm buying WINE standing up, then I'd rather go to the supermarket. I do, however, appreciate that the cashier walked the whiskey to my car for me, so I didn't drop it. That was kind and greatly appreciated. read more

We drive about 35 minutes just to go to this store. It's so clean, open, and well-stocked. They carry a lot of the higher shelf alcohols that are hard to find in our area without going to specialty shops in Nashville. We love shopping their broad gin selection, which boasts well known brands in addition to smaller craft brands, like Monkey 47 and Empress 1908. They also carry my favorite, Uncle Val's botanical gin. They also have large stores of vodka, tequila, and bourbons. They have a great wine selection! The staff is so nice, knowledgeable, and helpful, and the manager (or owner maybe?) really takes pride in keeping up to date on what's new and interesting. They stock old favorites while also bringing in the new--I notice something new almost every time I'm in there! Prices are reasonable for what you get. read more

This establishment used to be my go to for about seven years, never again. I don't know who's doing the hiring but please for the love of god either vet your employees better or let someone else do that job! The older black lady that works there is absolutely positively the most unfriendly, unhelpful person I've ever seen. He was giving me a ride and the Jack ass at the register without asking said can't sell It to you Bc you're with him. Elite wine and spirits is the best liquor store in Clarksville with competitive prices and the most selections hands-down of any liquor store I've been to in Clarksville. I would have to say it is now my favorite They are also open on Sundays. The staff is very helpful - will look up different alcohols for you and order them if you want. It is in a great location with a big parking lot and safe parking lot. The owners are very great Long time Clarksville Natives. It's the only place we go now. read more

I don't shop here often-but the selection is excellent. I am a 62 year old that came in to buy something with my 57 year old wife. She was making the purchase and was carded (it's the law). But when the cashier asked to see my ID?-Really? And if I refused she would not allow the purchase. I should've left the merchandise on the counter and bought elsewhere. This is a very poor store policy and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Funny thing is, the guy handing out the tequila tasting samples, didn't check my ID. They are called ELITE for a reason they have such a wide selection of everything I love there win selection I'm very specific when it comes to wine so some places don't have the wine I like but here they always have my favorite and they have all the flavors for stela rosas and they have good prices boucanas for the 12 year old and the 18 year old bottles!! read more

Large production wines with no real unique selection of spirits. It's just a liquor store with some store barrel selections of no real interest. The service is okay but there are not any wine or spirit experts to assist with purchases. The "aquarium " is filled with wines that are normal and average everyday wines. Their prices are more expensive than anywhere else but no one in the store knows anything about the selection. The shop lifting video are entertaining, though. Drive the 45 minutes into Nashville and go to a proper liquor store. However if you need a fifth of Jack or bottle of Prisoner you're in the right place. It's just a basic liquor store of no real substance. read more

Very nice store with a great selection of wine, beer and my favorite; scotch and bourbon. Very good selection on single malts from the common McCallan to the lesser know Islay distilleries. Prices are fair considering the convenience. Very big selection of Bourbon and Rye and occasionally you find a Blantons, Weller and Buffalo Trace if you arrive close to a delivery truck. This store is comparable to a big city store with selection but prices are better. The folks are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They also have store pick and provide tasters. Their Russels Single Cask is excellent! read more

I'm always so pleased with the service at Elite (Madison St). Everyone is always friendly and helpful. I also really appreciate that the owners and employees are taking COVID seriously by requiring masks be worn by all customers. I just watched as an employee asked a customer if he had a mask and provided him one when he said he didn't have one. Great job! read more

Beautiful store, amazing selection, great customer service! My husband was very impressed with the Whiskey and Scotch selection. I was introduced to a new wine called 90+ - they have every varietal under the sun! Ask for Joe, he was very knowledgeable about wine and even let me look in the wine aquarium. EXCELLENT SELECTION. If you're considering checking every liquor store in Clarksville to see if they have something, don't bother. Go to Elite, they have it all! Absolutely incredible beer selection, from craft to imports, domestic, growlers you name it. If I'm going to pick out some new beers to try, I'm going to Elite. I would highly recommend them.
