a glass of beer on a bar

Great place if you are looking for a yummy selection of beers! They go out of their way to find you what you like within their variety of beers! Love that all of their beers do not taste alike- which I find common at other breweries in the area! Highly recommend. Owner was was very kind and bartender was very attentive!

While visiting Clarksville I enjoy checking out the local brewery scene and Evil Nash according to the bartender is relatively new with the brewery being 1 year old. During my visit I purchased 2 flights so I could taste the entire menu and needless to say I wasn't very impressed with the various brews offered; out of the 8 beers there were 3 that stood out with those being the: Black Arrow (dark stout), IPEYA (IPA) and Creme De Coconut. The other beers in the lineup just didn't have much depth and seemed relatively bland and under carbonated which was unfortunate. Overall, Evil Nash is still working out some kinks and issues with their various brews and it wouldn't hurt if they were more friendly when interacting with customers and for these reasons I have decided this place has earned a 3/5 stars at this time.

Bourbon barrel aged stout in their cool souvenir pint glass... amazingly delicious!

My first thought when we walked in was that the restaurant must be busy all the time, and the tips good, because they had several servers whizzing around taking care of their customers. Good beer and drinks are a given (several house brews), but the food was amazing. We ordered fried green tomatoes (pimento cheese on top) and roasted brussel sprouts, so we could nibble as we drank. Then for dinner: the prime rib au jus sandwich, the Reuben, the Patty Melt, and the Cletus (Southern through and through). Our Toddler ordered the baked Mac N Cheese (good sized serving and looked delicious--lots of cheese and perfectly browned--and a side of fruit). Everyone was happy!

It was very busy around 12:30 mid-day, but I was seated immediately. There is downstairs and an upstairs that looks over the first floor. They have a huge menu. Lots of pub fare. Beer cheese, nachos, various pizzas (tons of combinations, most with lots of meat, and you can create your own). They also have flatbreads (again, several combos, some veggie, some meaty). Entrees include steaks, pork chops, grilled chicken, chicken tenders, salmon, and shrimp tacos. Large selection of sandwiches (turkey, clubs, BLT, reuben, prime rib). And at least 10 different types of burgers. I had the cowboy, made with Monterey Jack, bacon, sautéed onions, mushroom, lettuce, tomato, and pickle). Huge burger (I only ate half). The fries were hot and tasty. The burger arrived medium as I had ordered and the produce seemed fresh. The mushroom and onion flavors were lost somehow, and the burger could have used a little more seasoning, but overall solid for being local to Clarksville. I had a couple of cocktails, some type of margarita with cranberry, and a basic mule. They were fine, but nothing special and nothing I would order again. They have a ton of beers here, and that's what they are known for, so if you're a beer drinker, that's your best bet. They have brunch on the weekends. My server was attentive and kind.

Pretty busy inside around the bar where they do tastings, lots of tables in the next room with a couple food windows and bars set up. Outside, bags games and other outdoor games with surrounding tables and a Daddy's Dogs stand. A coupe more outdoor rooms with bars and such. We found a room in the back that was fairly empty. Three sides open to queue up to for placing an order, the bartender was doing his best but had no concept of who got there when, so he kept waiting on people that had just walked up while others had been waiting their turn continued to wait. I ordered a seltzer type drink that was refreshing on the warmer than usual day. It was fun, sitting around and watching all that was going on.

They named them that for a reason. They weren't great. I didn't complain as for the next reason I gave a 3 star--- It took over 30 minutes to get our food and I was just wanting to eat and get to the house. I will say that we got the Whipped Ricotta Pizza and it was Very good. I will go back at some point because I want to try their Deepdish Pizza and a Craft Beer.
