The customer service continued to be good, but not what I'd call stellar. When the new manager came on board (I can't remember her name) customer service started to suffer. She always seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. She was never friendly or personable. As someone who has hosted a lot over the years, I've dropped a sizeable amount of cash in this establishment. Just today, I bought over $100 worth of product and received attitude like I've never seen anywhere else. I had questions about a store raffle they were having but she was unable to answer any questions about the details. A manager that can't tell you how a promotion or giveaway her own store is running? That's a red flag for me. Finally she disclosed that she's not part of the giveaway, that it's her supervisor's idea. She wasn't forthcoming with a way to contact said supervisor with questions. Red flag number two. She started out our conversation like she was in a bad mood, and it slowly escalated as I tried to understand through clarifying questions how she, the manager, didn't know the details of the store's promotion. I finally gave up and left, and it will probably be a long time until I return, if at all. Over the past five years I've spent quite a lot of money hosting different events, and if she's unwilling to answer simple questions without attitude, then perhaps my dollars are better spent elsewhere. There are plenty of other establishments in town that would love someone who spends freely in their store.

I try to support locally owned businesses especially when the big box store (W.M) is up the street. The family owners are knowledgeable about their products and offers a great selection of wine, case beer, liquor, and my favorite Tennessee Whiskey. Feeling lucky??? Lottery tickets are sold here too!!! The store is well organized that a girl can find her favorite bottle of alcohol without wandering aimlessly down aisles. Yes this has happened to me, ok. We tried several wines and ended up choosing two bottles that we loved. The Governor's Red and a Merlot. The winery has some great things to choose from outside of wine. I snagged some cheeses, wine salt, and trinkets. The vineyard is beautiful and very picturesque. Lots of picnic benches to sit on and eat or sip your wine. Will definitely be back with our picnic table cover and to catch the live music. Highly recommend for a date or a day trip. If you come on a day where the food trucks or aren't available, pack a charcuterie box or picnic bag, a little Bluetooth speaker and grab a bottle of wine to enjoy outside.
