If you're a LEGO fan...major or minor, the LEGO Store at Disney Springs is an absolute must-see! The store is HUGE! It has everything LEGO you could imagine. Before our visit, I had read about the option to build your own custom LEGO figurine, and I was "Heck Yes!" I made an online reservation a few months before my visit to Orlando, since spots are limited. When we arrived, there was a loooong line to get into the store (they limit capacity to avoid overcrowding), but having a reservation was a huge plus. I showed it to the Greeter, and we were able to bypass the line and headed right in to start creating our LEGO Avatars. The process is such a fun experience! You begin by designing your figure's body digitally--choosing outfits for the front and back, naming your character, and sending it off to be printed. That part takes about 10 minutes or less. Once your custom body is ready, you move on to picking out the head, hair, and accessories. Honestly, that might be the hardest (and most fun) part--so many choices! I ended up making three--one for me, my son (Dr. A), and my daughter-in-law (Dr. J). My husband created his own and got pretty creative with it. Walk-ins are allowed, but you may have to wait a bit for an opening. We did some shopping and as a bonus LEGO gave each customer a cute seasonal Easter chick with their purchase. Overall, this is a fantastic experience for all ages and definitely worth adding to your Disney Springs itinerary. read more

I make a point to visit the LEGO Store at Disney Springs every time I'm there, mainly to see what's new--and this store never disappoints. It's constantly changing and evolving, which makes each visit feel fresh and different from the last. If you're a LEGO fan, this place is easy to love. There are areas where you can build, options to create custom LEGO figures, plenty of impressive pre-built displays, and--most notably--they've been adding more giant LEGO sculptures inside, which I think is the real main draw. These large-scale builds are incredibly detailed and genuinely impressive. Outside the store, there are additional LEGO figures as well. You can actually tell which ones are within arm's reach because the colors on the bricks are starting to wear down from people touching them--kind of a cool, unintentional reminder of how interactive and popular the displays are. One thing to know before you go: there's almost always a line. Expect about a 5-10 minute wait. It may look intimidating from the outside, but the line moves quickly and is well-managed. On this visit, I was especially impressed by the Spider-Man display with the camera caught in the web--it was so realistic it actually fooled my friend into thinking the camera was real. Moments like that are why this store never feels stale. Overall, whether you're a casual visitor or a serious LEGO enthusiast, this LEGO Store is absolutely worth the short wait and remains one of the most consistently fun stops at Disney Springs. read more

You cannot believe the figures that you can create with Legos. From the water dragon in the water to the Star Wars figures is absolutely incredible. I was blown away by the creations that adorned the store, both inside and out. If you were not a fan of Legos, you may become one after seeing all the ways you can create whatever you can imagine. This is by far one of the best Lego store I have been to. They have a wide selection of legos. Frank was very attentive and he was very knowledgeable of the Star Wars Lego and provided good insight. I enjoy a Lego store, but not one that is treated like a nightclub. No matter the time of day here you will most likely encounter a line to get in. If not, prepare yourself for a store filled with people from everywhere. This wasn't my first time to this area, but this was my first visit on this most recent trip. The first night I hopped over to the area I was going to hit this up real quick until I saw the line wrapped around the building. I decided to by pass it (in hindsight, it was a Saturday). The next time I came over here to grab a bite to eat, I decided since there was no line I would head on in. Why not, they got a bunch of Lego statues outside (including the dragon in the lake). However, when I got inside, it looked like a store during black Friday's of old. People everywhere. I was hoping to find an item my niece had on here Christmas list already while in here. But that went out the window once I attempted to browse the shelves. No matter how close you are to the shelves, people will push their way in front of you so you cannot browse. I circled the store several times in hopes of finding something, no luck. My anxiety went through the roof and I had to find the exit quickly. I circled a few more times until I found a door that didn't say (not an exit). Sheesh. Even though I was anxious, I did note that they did not have what my niece wanted. Meaning that they don't seem to carry every Lego set in the world. You do have to remember that this location is in Disney Springs and a lot of the sets are Disney themed. read more

This was the first official Lego Store I ever visited and it's not just a store, it's an experience. Starting with the giant Lego statues outside of various Disney characters, including Star Wars. Inside is a magical wonderland of any and all Lego themes you could think of. I particularly liked the displays of the botanical collection. Very busy, but worth the wait in line! We had a whole day to hang out around Disney Springs and my kids (who aren't even really that into Lego unlike me who was a Lego Club member as a kid) chose to spend most of it here at the Minifigure Factory. Best $12/child I have ever spent! They had so much fun designing their shirts, and trying out different Lego accessories. We have done the customizable figure with different accessories before but designing the shirts and then seeing them printed was a very cool experience for them. Be aware the print on the shirt is itty bitty. We also saw some new Lego sets that just got released. read more

This Lego store was the site of many core memories from my childhood and I am always surprised that the green Lego dragon in the lake has persisted, but this store continues to be so much fun! The line to get into the store moves really quickly and the staff are so friendly despite it being super busy. This visit I got to try out the custom minifigure station which is $12 to make a customized minifigure shirt and a brick with your name on it. You also get to pick out a head, hair, legs, and accessory for this price. The staff explained the design program and I'd say the whole experience with my 5 year old godson driving the design and then waiting for the bricks to be printed took about 20-30 minutes. This was super fun and he was thrilled with his custom minifigure torso complete with his chosen stickers and drawings! This is my first time actually in the store. I always see a crowd of people waiting to go in, so I would merely take photos with the amazing gargantuan Lego art outside. But this Friday afternoon, it was calm, so I ventured in with my husband and teenage son. The first staff member I talked to was a young man putting together a set at the entrance. I found out that the fastest set he had put together was an RC Lego Porsche in 1.5 hours. He pointed me in the right direction and I shared my find with my husband who is into RC and Porsche! We also verified we could save 10% with his Disney annual pass, so another win! From another employee, I found out that it is a great RC and very maneuverable compared with other RC cars. And it is the first of its kind for Lego, so I thought it would be the perfect gift for my husband for his upcoming birthday. You can tell that the staff love Lego's. We are Lego family. The last time we went to the Lego store they didn't have custom mini figs, but this time we practically went to Florida in order to make our $12 custom mini fig. Making this mini fig was the deal of the vacation especially when you're used to spending way too much for food and fun. I ended up making an appointment online but they do accept walk-ins, and the majority of the people look like they walked in and just waited in line to make a mini fig. Jada and Daniel were the people helping the day we went. Although it advertises a custom music, the only thing you get to customize the top of the finger you get to pick out your own head hair, accessory and legs, but the top of the mini fig is created in a huge 3-D printer. You get to customize the front and the back you're able to choose between designs paint your own design and also type on the front and the back of the mini fig. As an added bonus, which I didn't realize, when your mini fig is complete, you get a brick with your name on it, (or the name that you named your creation) which is a really nice touch. They also have lots of bricks and fun outside for kids to play with and pass the time. The mini fab experience was everything that I read about online and more. It was nice to have a keepsake that was small and easy to pack in our luggage to go home as well. read more

My kids love visiting the Lego Store whenever we visit Disney Springs. In fact, it's expected during each visit. The store is nice and has lots of options but honestly I wish it was a little bigger considering how many people want to go in it. So, be prepared to wait in a line. Grab a Starbucks next door beforehand and it should help it be better. ;) I do love the station where you can make your own Lego person. We have done it twice and it's a lot of fun. My kids enjoy it. We also are big fans of the brick wall. We find so many fun and colorful pieces there to add to our sets. read more

This is an awesome Lego store that is located at Disney Springs. I end up having to go anytime I have my youngest kiddo with me when we are here at the springs. The store is pretty big, and even mid day on a week day can get pretty busy. They have some amazing lego set ups outside of the store, great for taking some pictures of or with. I recommend signing up for their rewards program, especially if you have a regular lego store nearby. Earn some rewards for getting those legos! I know with it being Disney it can be tough to get your kiddo to want something other than legos for their trip treasures ... My kiddo ended up deciding he wanted his souvenirs from our recent trip from here. Which worked out because he didn't really want anything from the shops on our cruise. Plus, he got enough points for a $5 off our next purchase. Now I'll admit, we got one set that I'm putting away until Christmas, which was fun when trying to reconfigure things for our trip back home. The guy that cashed my husband and I out was very friendly and helpful. He helped us to get money taken off and was so patient while we tried to figure out our Lego account login. The line to get in was as long as some of the big rides here at Disney! The Lego sculptures were amazing... truly unbelievable to behold. Michael Angelo works of art in Lego. We stood in line for my oldest... he wanted the millennium Falcon set and wanted to see if he had enough to buy it. So wait we did. I'm glad they limit the people coming in. If they didn't you wouldn't be able to shop... it is a good sized space but not big enough for all the people at once! The set my oldest wanted turned out to cost $800.00! YIKES!!! We did not get it... he was a bit short in his wallet. However he found a Lamborghini set that was $400 that he settled for. I mean this thing is massive! He was extremely excited... still off in the wallet but we made up the difference. It is an unbelievable shop that has all of the sets! A wonder building for kids and adults alike. Lego Nirvana... This was an amazing experience! It was so much fun we booked tickets to legoland for my son because he had such a good time building his on little mini figure at the station in the middle of the store. We got in line which went by pretty fast overall waited about 7min we got in and it was filled with... you guessed it Legos! We walked around for a little then walked over to the mini figure building area we talked to Dan and he explained to us a little more about what was happening after we talked we decided to do it.. at the time it was a 2 hour wait but what's amazing is that they text when it's your time instead of waiting in line!! After 2 hours passed we got a text saying it was out turn so we headed over after we checked in they gave us the 2 boxes for our characters and we went and paid got a receipt and headed back to the mini figure area, after confirming we were able to start building which was so much fun.. I do t want to go into too much detail because the experience is well worth it, after we were done we waited for them to be finished and wow they looked awesome! Definitely recommend getting there first thing and putting your name on the list because when we got back it was a 4 hour wait! read more

We were finally able to get in the Lego store after multiple trips here with no luck because the line was wrapped around the building and the wait was well over an hour. We arrived on a Sunday morning just as they were opening and they were having everyone enter the store just as we arrived so we were able to jump Right In line and get in. Wheww!!! A true Lego lovers Paradise. They seem to have every set imaginable. We have a three-year-old so he's not Lego obsessed but he definitely enjoys them. We were able to grab two Mario brother Lego sets and get right out without having to grab 10 different boxes of everything he wanted. Prices are the same as online so they do not jack up the prices here. They even had a big sale area. They have an outdoor space once you exit the store that you could play with some Legos too. This is the coolest Lego store I've ever visited. The life size and realistic Star Wars characters throughout the exterior were amazing. Inside the store I saw many sets I've never seen anywhere else. They also have technology that allow you to show the set in front of the screen and it shows the assembled models. What a cool place to visit, play, and purchase unique Lego sets This is located inside Disney Springs. You can get there by parking in any of the large parking garages that lead to the complex. I think the Lime parking garage is the best place to park since it is on the same side of the road as the shops and practically next to the store. The store is right off the south side of the water and directly across from the Rainforest Cafe. It is in a round standalone building. They have lots of displays made from Lego's showing the cool things that you can make with Lego's. There is a large dragon in the lake looking at the store. A Star Wars Display is on the north side of the building and a Knight and Dragon are on the east side. There is a specific entrance and exit. The store is very yellow and has lots of different choices of lego sets to buy. Outside the exit, there is an area for the kids to play with Legos and to make cars and test them on a track.The staff was nice. The store was clean. It was a warm Florida day and the store was warm inside but the had a cooling fan in the middle of the store working to cool things off. This place is my son's favorite place on earth. We went three times in one day. There is a wait to get in. The line moves fairly quickly, but if you get there close to opening time, that's your best bet for both a cool and short wait. They have some amazing Lego sculptures both inside and outside of the store. My kids were amazed. They allow you to build your own minifigure. The more impressive process costs $11.99 and usually has a waitlist. We arrived at 10am, and we ended up waiting about 20 minutes to start the process. When it was our turn, we bought the kits, and we were shown to touchscreens to start designing our custom torso. There are a bunch of generic background shirts/jackets, then you can add in typed words or pictures or free paint/draw. When you finish that, the design is printed onto a standard Lego torso, and then you pick out the legs, head, helmet/hair and an accessory. Honestly, since my 4 and 6 year old kids were the ones building their own minifigures, it wasn't worth the cost. My kids were too young to understand the customization process, so they just chose fairly generic torso designs, and I was disappointed that many of the legs/heads/helmets/accessories were not available. There were significantly fewer male-looking heads available. During our third visit of the day, I ended up having them design their own minifigures from the premade parts bin. That was $9.99 for 3 minifigures (so I got to make up my own minifigure too). Options for clothing were fairly limited, and there was a dearth of accessories available in the bins, but my kids were entertained for a lot longer than with the custom minifigure setup. As for the rest of the store, it's pretty standard Lego. There are a lot more Disney kits available, which makes sense, but there were a lot of Harry Potter and Marvel and other brands "rival" to Disney for sale. Prices are standard Lego prices too (no discounts here!). Honestly, as we had walked over from a nearby hotel, I had no desire to carry a bulky Lego kit here, but it was fun for my son to see everything in person to get ideas of what he wants for Christmas. The car building part is back. It's located outside the exit. They don't have enough wheels (in the morning, there were only 18 wheels total, so 4.5 cars' worth). The kids loved it, and they were very disappointed to be dragged away. They were also disappointed that it is closed when there's lightning. read more
