My kids love Lego Stores, and this location was no exception. Lots of options, including our family favorite: Harry Potter. The only thing we bought were the custom minifigs, which are 3 for $10. The LEGO Store during Insider Weekend is clearly where all logic goes to die. We walked in telling ourselves we'd just look around. That lie lasted about 30 seconds. Syd, the door greeter with Jedi-level enthusiasm, and Solomon, the cashier who could probably talk a Sith into signing up for Insider points, guided us straight toward the 4x sets. And like good Padawans, we obeyed. We left with the Flower Bouquet (10345), the Pink Flower Bouquet (10342), the LEGO Space Shuttle Aircraft (10360), and the 747 Transport Plane. Nostalgia hit hard and our wallets didn't stand a chance. Somewhere in the distance, we heard the faint echo of "It's a trap," but our inner children were already doing victory laps. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly masters of their craft. Equal parts Jedi mentors and retail therapists. The whole experience was fantastic, even as we watched our adult restraint crumble into a pile of colorful bricks. The LEGO Store is proof that the Force is strong... and so is our inability to say no to childhood happiness. 10/10, would go broke again. read more

The LEGO in castleton mall is my go to store for good quality gifts for my nephews, nieces and friends kids. The variety here is age and series wise and the store reps are more than happy to walk you through budget, best sellers and what works for each age bracket and genders! I have always found my experience extremely good and I am a regular rewards member that helps me accumulate points and redeem for good purchase discounts. This is one of the stores that, when I'm shopping at the mall with kids, we have to stop and visit. How can you not when there are so many Lego to play with and tables on which to build your masterpieces? The kids who work here are very friendly, and always greet us with a smile. read more

Oh Lego stores! I'm 25 years old with a 29 year old fiancé and I think we go here more than most children. They are a tad expensive on box sets. The upside to that part is you know for a fact that no pieces are missing since it is a new box at retail price. Kind of an odd positive to look at it that way but at least it's a guarantee. What I found most fun and the main purpose for going is the pick a brick wall, the mystery packs and building a mini fig. The mystery packs because some of them can only be found there. For example the Disney packs, I've tried at least a dozen places. The lego store is the only place I can find them. The wall! It's so fun! Every color in every shape. You can pick from two different cups, and if you return with your cup you get a discount on your next refill. Finally the mini fig builder. I love it because they have untraditional pieces like a bride and groom. I'd really like to go back and gather pieces for my wedding reception center piece. I think it'd be a lot of fun to find out what people make :) read more

I ordered online but needed to return my purchase, and to mail my order back I was going to have to pay for shipping. Like all millennials, I have a fundamental problem with paying for shipping so I decided to return in store. I read about my return options online and it said print out a copy of your receipt and bring it in, but I figured as long as I had it on my phone I would be ok. The phone copy did end up being fine but it was a bit of a hassle for Meredith to get it all figured out. They have to call Lego headquarters and jump through some hoops. Meredith was so nice and very friendly even though it looked like what she had to do for me was not the most fun part of her job. She ensured that I got the correct amount back (the other Lego representative told her price pre-tax to refund me but Meredith caught it) and had a smile on her face the whole time. The store itself is so fun, lots of displays with kits set up and the big colorful wall of Pick a Piece at the back. Opens at 10am, I'd recommend coming in for all your Lego needs read more

Brought my son here for the first time and he was mesmerized. He of course wanted everything in the store. He enjoyed being able to customize a character with their in store setup. There were lots of options to choose from, but it was lacking accessories. Maybe they were just buried at the bottom. The wall of Legos was a site. It's actually the best deal I think the store. Use a container and fill it up for $9 or $16 with anything on the wall. It was nice to add some more colors to our collection. read more

I used to go to the LEGO store every month, and I loved it. The sets lined the tall walls, hundreds of them visible, making the store seem huge. The wall in the back was filled with a variety of pieces, a vast array of colors from grey's and black's to blue's and red's and all of the colors between. Of course, my favorite part in all the store had been the monthly mini build table. The monthly mini build table had been a place of wonder, where kids of all ages would build small lego creations for free every month. It allowed lots of kids to dip their toes into LEGO, and kept experienced kids in the loop and still practicing. The staff that did the monthly mini builds were always incredibly helpful, willing to show kids where they may have messed up and go through the build with them step-by-step. Not only were they eager to help, but also made it super fun, with many of them cracking jokes to get kids laughing. Despite doing away with the mini-build program (a decision I expect was more corporate-based than being decided by the store), there are still legos out for kids to mess around with and see if they want to get into LEGO. Overall, the LEGO Store is a great way for kids to have fun, and it's even better with the friendly and helpful staff at the Castleton Square Mall location. -BK read more

The world is a better place because of LEGO. In my life, I've gone from building houses and cars and spaceships from tubs of loose bricks I inherited from a cousin (who later went on to be a mechanical engineer, inventor, and patent holder) to buying myself kits as an adult. It's not just a past time for children anymore. LEGO intergenerational and simply, loads of fun. The Castleton store is way too small. That is, they really deserve more space. The selection of pick-a-brick is severely limited, and the close quarters is almost depressing. Almost. At the end of the day, it's still LEGO and it still brings absolute joy to my face every time I step in. The employees seem genuinely enthused about the product and the families enjoying themselves. If not for anything else, go to the store and pick up a grab bag minifig, and the happiness of the customers and employed fun-custodians will make the rest of your day better. If you're a builder/collector, I recommend stopping by to get your bulk bricks here rather than online, especially if you're looking for small pieces. Where you could get a brick for 10¢ on their website, you can get a bulk cup for $8 and end up spending a couple pennies per piece. Plus, the cups later act as stackable organizers. Popped in here with the kid to pick up some Legos for a project he is working on. They have just about every Lego you can imagine here, and cleverly sell them volumetrically. They also had a crazy number of sets for a variety of their character franchises. The only downside was going early afternoon on a cold Saturday afternoon was not good timing. There were a bazillion little kids in various stages of joy, overstimulation, or meltdown. When it came time to checkout one register was malfunctioning, but the other two were busting it out to keep the lines moving. I'll look forward to going back - maybe I'll pick up something for myself to make and take into the office to display! read more

I love this store! The Lego store is amazing! The sales team was super nice and tended to all my questions. I'm that person who asks a boatload of questions when I have them! I'm sure that I'm not the only person who gets passionate about a thing they love. Not only do I love Lego, but my son does also. I love that they have a ton of sets on display for you to see them as well as a couple master builder builds throughout the store. I have only one complaint, but it isn't big enough to decrease the rating. That is the pick a brick wall. I want more! As a builder, I want more options. There were tons of options, however there were at least 20-30 bins empty. Though they are not really reachable to anyone, I dont understand the logic behind having empty bins. I don't understand why they put them in if they had no plans on using them. Why not use that area for storage or something instead of pictures of bricks they coulda had... Ok enough of my venting, they had everything! Well almost everything! Make sure of you plan to buy any Lego sets through them, get the VIP card... You get points and rewards and other promotions. You can also use your VIP in the online store. Last but not least, it's just a tip! If you choose to use the pick a brick wall, don't go for the larger pieces. You can buy the large pieces for 10 cent a piece on their website... You want to use the wall to get a lot of the smaller pieces and a couple big ones. Make it worth your $16. Make sure you add some of the tiny pieces for filler just to get your monies worth. Also make sure you find out what deals they have. Most of the deals revolve around spending $75. Currently they have a free flower cart poly bag with purchase of $75. The previous deal was a calendar with three coupons for free items. So always know what deals they have going to see if it's worth your while and possibly get everything on your list vs chopping up your spending. read more

I have never outgrown Lego. This is one of my favorite stores- so happy we have one here in Indianapolis. The best time to go is during a weekday, when kids are in school. Little known tip: Ask if they have any damaged sets in the back. They'll sell them to you for a 10% (or more, if they can) discount. (The damage is only cosmetic on the box, the sets are all complete and the bricks are not damaged at all.) Make sure you join their VIP club if you plan on buying much. You'll earn points that get your reward discounts. read more

What's not to like about Lego? This store is small but great. Staff are always friendly - when you enter you're usually greeted with "And who are we buying for today?" There are small areas for play in the center along with cases highlighting particular sets and all of the sets are around the walls. In the back is the pick-a-brick area and they've recently added ideas so you can, for example, pick all of the pieces to build a car or a giraffe and get the instructions to go along with the pieces. About the only place I ever visit in this mall. read more

I love the lego store and have had nothing but great experiences being there the only thing I have to comment on that isn't absolutely great is there website. It's too confusing and rarely ever works and when it does you spend half the time figuring it out but other than that I love the lego store and everything about it read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this store. They have lego architecture which I have currently been obsessed with! so far I have: Big Ben, Seattle Space Needle, Empire State Building and The White House. all of which have turned out amazing and are pretty neat to look at :) I do want to add Sydney Opera House to my collection as well. By far a good store to go to young and old alike. Worth the drive from downtown. read more
