I would like to personally thank Dylan and Nathan for helping me accommodate my special needs Son Andrew. Andrew has sensitivity to loud music, and is very routine based if we change even the slightest routine he can have a very disregulated Day. However, Nathan and Dylan went above and beyond to help Andrew not only in a great room but also have helped us by accommodating us into a suite that worked for Andrew. Additionally, I would also like to Alexis, Xavier and team in the cafe for sitting us in a location that worked for Andrew away from the loudness. Thank you, Legoland team!!

We had the best time at the Legoland hotel! From parking, to check in, the process was super easy. The kiddos ran straight to the play areas and were excited to experience everything the hotel had. The rooms were clean and a good size. The kids loved the bunk bed area! It would be nice to have a dining table, but we figured the space out otherwise. The hotel has 2 restaurants and a snack lounge and everyone is super helpful. At the cafe I went to buy waters and they told me they can provide ice water cups for free. This was so helpful and a really nice touch. One of the days there was a ton of rain, but all of the indoor hotel activities made up for it! The kiddos enjoyed the arcade, disco dance party, lego build show and tell, story time, and bingo. They didn't want to go back to the room and it was super late in the evening. While it was fairly crowded - and adults can be worse than kiddos at times...the staff handled it well and ensured everyone had a great time. We have now stayed at both the castle and the original hotel, and truly only this hotel a bit more. Highly recommended for a great family vacation/staycation.

My kids had a blast, but the room was filthy and smelled awful. The carpet seemed to have a lingering smell of sweaty feet, and it was honestly unbearable. Great staff and amazing for kids (pool, disco, restaurant, play area etc.), but so loud! It's like living in a never-ending indoor playground. But my son loves here surely.

Legoland San Diego! Well after 5 nights in their Friends themed hotel and many days in the park there are quite a few things worth reviewing. This was our first trip to Legoland, so everything was hectic and unfamiliar, but after seeing how everything works, I have to say that they have a pretty good system there. And there is A LOT TO DO! Around every corner is another neat thing for kids to do. Well done. So there are two hotels at legoland, the Friend's themed hotel, and the castle hotel. We were in the friends, and they had tons of cool pictures on the walls, see pictures, but also know that the pool at the friends hotel does NOT have a hot tub, and the castle hotel pool DOES have a hot tub. Guests from either hotel are allowed to use pools in both hotels, so that's good. Also the BRICKS restaurant in the Friends hotel is awesome because it's an all you can eat buffet, and they have EVERYTHING kids love and adults too. This is the best option for large families. You simply make reservations for the time you want, either breakfast or dinner. And they have an AMAZING text based room service and hotel housekeeping number you can simply text whatever you need and it appears! The castle hotel restaurant is ok too, but it's MUCH pricier, and there are no refills on the food. We are there with 5 the last night and it was nearly $200, so I highly recommend BRICKS for value. The park was neat, but it filled up super fast. As a hotel guests you can access 45 min early to the attractions but the dumb thing is that many of them aren't open till ten anyway. And after going on ALL the best rides, it it our family's official opinion that the Emmett's flying adventure was the most fun ride, even above the roller coasters. On Saturday I went out briefly to run an errand and when I returned there was not a single parking place available in their lot of many thousands. So I didn't know what to do, I thought the hotel had its own lot, but it doesn't so I went to the valet and I explained the whole thing and they had to valet park me and didn't charge me extra. There was one thing that needed to change and it was bad enough for me that I'm taking a full star off the 5 star review. Just so you understand, this place was nice and I would give them a 5 star review EXCEPT for their TOILET PAPER! It was like 80 grit sandpaper! It was truly a horrific bathroom experience every morning. Painful. If you have a five star Resort and you want five star reviews, you have to include decent and soft toilet paper. So the Legoland vacation was pretty good, except their toilet paper was a PAIN IN THE BUTT!! Overall I recommend Legoland, but I also recommend bringing your own charmin.

Want your kids to have the most memorable hotel stay? Want to just rest after a long day of kids theme park? Want easy access to the park? Early access to Legoland? Want free breakfast buffet for the family? Want to do a Lego chest treasure hunt in the lobby area of each hotel? (And get a free Lego baggie?) Want to keep them entertained all day and night? Want a disco party? Party inside the Elevator with lights and spinning ball? Friendly staff? Themed rooms? Bunk bed with an additional pull out bed? Pool? Arcade at night? Free Charge Point EV charging? And much much more? This place got it all. First time before the kids get too old! (Actually our 18 year old is enjoying this too! LOL) Come n try! Price is a little steep BUT! It's breakfast included, and the room fits up to 3 kids with the bunk with a pull out bed and the main bed can fit a kid with a parent as well.

You had one job. One job.... The hotels room bathroom had so much potential to make things "LEGO" the mirror frame, bath towel hooks, the shower soap holder, and the bath/shower wall tiles. I mean this is owned by LEGO right????? Don't even get me started with the tv wire cluster mess behind every tv. Lawsuit waiting to happen.... The cables exposed like that (electrocution) and long lengths so someone can un alive themselves (hanging). This place needs to really get things in order.

Demand for a Full Refund - Failure to Provide Habitable Promised Two(2) Rooms & Unsanitary Conditions As a result, I am requesting a full refund of [$885.55]. I expect confirmation of this refund within 10 business days. The Reservation, Front Desk Manager, Receptionist FAILED to DELIVER and FAILED to maintain the Reception and Lobby area clean, most of all the vents that blow air was so filthy and many children and adult parents or guests were inhaling that bad quality air. The bad part is that I have to be the one to tell the Front Desk Manager who argued with me because she did not want to pay 50% refund, instead she insisted that she can only offer me to get 35% refund, because it is unfair to others. Well, instead of going back and forth with her. I needed to write a formal letter of complaint to the Merlin Entertainment, owner of LEGOLAND so that they maybe aware that nobody seems to POLICE the CLEANLINESS of LEGOLAND these days. would be nice if the price of the room is not that expensive, but it is pricey. 1. Promised Room Not Provided - The 2 rooms good for 10 guests I purchased were not delivered to me by 4pm, they only provided 1 room but is defective due to A/C not working (please see attached PDF Letter) Room# was 3041, I reported. Per the Manager "You won't feel the A/C much if 10 guests are in the room" By 9:40pm, I went to the Receptionist 2 look for Ms. Chrisni Vaca, I asked the manager Chrisni Vaca, for a 50% discount on the 2nd Room that was not delivered on time, but she argued me "Mrs. Porter, I can only give you 35% discount, because it will be unfair to other people that you get 50% and the others are not", when I heard this "I told her in frustration, look I am very tired, we are done here, I need to get some rest, you escalate this however you want, I will do my own case escalation. Before I left the Manager Chrisni Vaca of Legoland Hotel Reception, I asked her to look above her (she looked while I took my camera and took a photo of the blowing out vent that was so filthy, thick dark dirt blowing into the air, inhaled by adult guests and children), I educated her "If you are an efficient Manager, you would do your job to maintain good air quality in this Reception Level Floor, children are playing here and they are inhaling a very dirty air that can cause harm to them", I also took a photo of another vent also with very thick black dirt, looking like black mold. Entered Room#3041. We were sweating, reported again, around 10:30 PM, the receptionist offered a fan. By 11:30pm the fan did not arrive, husband reported we could not sleep due to heat. At 1:00 AM, they moved us to another room with A/C working, kids went to sleep. I was going to insert myself into the bed, bedsheet has several blood stains, I did not sleep until 2:30AM. Frustrated, I demand a 100% REFUND. I refused the 2nd Manager's offer of 50%, because Chrisni Vaca REFUSED, EXHAUSTED me and STRESSED me more by ARGUING at the time I was willing to take 50%. That 50% has sailed. I now demand for a 100% REFUND. LinP Booking Confirmation Number#1: ***6757 PAID on July 31, 2025 Booking Confirmation Number#2: ***6764 PAID on July 31, 2025

Me and my family had a great time at the hotel. Food was ok but by the second day kids were done with the buffets. People are very friendly and helpful. Parking wasn't too bad and pool look good for kids but we did not get to use it. I want to try the castle hotel and see the difference. It's definitely worth it to if you're gonna be here multiple days.

French toast ham and swiss for breakfast.... Oddly good.

Overall 2.75 out of 5 (in large part because of the Uber drop off and pick up) THE GOOD ° Definitely a fun experience for the kids ° Lobby has a lot to do ° Extremely easy access to the park ° Early admission to the park (essentially one or two rides without a line) ° Rooms are nicely decorated ° There's a LEGO safe inside. If the kids answer all the questions given via QR code, it gives them a free LEGO build (ours was a penguin) THE BAD ° No pool time was posted on the website. Come to find out it closed at 8pm which is a bummer because we wanted to swim after dinner. ° Restaurants are just so-so. We went to Karl Strauss instead for dinner THE UGLY ° Balcony is very very dirty. ° The lobby staff in the morning were pretty useless. - Dude at check-in practically didn't help us at all. ° Charged us a self parking charge even though we via Uber. ° Speaking of which, there's a gate for staff that they used to let Ubers drive through, now they're making them drive all the way around... Just to drive past the gate they would have driven through to drop off. DUMB. - this became an even bigger issue in the morning for pickup. They wouldn't let the Uber driver through either gate. Couldn't get picked up in front of the hotel. Had to walk past the castle hotel, through the parking lot exit, partly without sidewalk, and to a drop-off/pick-up area. FIX YOURSELF, this is WRONG WRONG WRONG. °°Summary°° The hotel is great for kids with early park access, a fun LEGO room, and a cool little treasure hunt that ends with a free LEGO build. The lobby has plenty to keep them entertained, and getting into the park is super easy. But there were a few things that took away from the experience. The pool closes at 8, which doesn't work well when the park closes at 6 and dinner takes a while. We didn't get to swim at all. The on-site restaurants were just okay, so we went off-property instead. The balcony was really dirty, the morning staff wasn't helpful, and the whole Uber situation was ridiculous. Drop-off made no sense, and pickup was a total disaster. Our driver wasn't allowed through either gate, so we had to walk past the castle hotel, through the parking lot, and partly along a stretch with no sidewalk just to get to a random pickup spot. And then we got charged for self-parking on top of it. Completely unacceptable and beyond frustrating. Overall, it's a fun stay for kids, but the logistics were a mess and really need to be fixed.

The hotel was okay. The rooms are set up nice. The buffet leaves a lot to be desired. The hotel was dirty specifically the hallway floors.

Can anyone tell me the prices for every fee when staying at the LegoLand hotel?

Parking was valet only which was quick and seamless (and free!). The staff at the entry of the hotel was super helpful in providing directions to get down to the pool as one of my girlfriend's said it was a little confusing to find, but I was given a clear guide on how to get down there and got there without issue. We had our own server at the cabana who provided us with our free fruit plate and bottle of bubbly to share, and took food and drink orders. She and her coworkers checked on us pretty frequently and kept us well-stocked. The day was a little overcast and cloudy but the pool was a lovely cool temp, and the jacuzzi was in the same general area so when we got a little chilly we hopped on over. After spending some time in the adult-only pool area, we headed up to the family friendly deck and took a couple of runs down the slides, which was super fun. Around the time we were meant to clear out, our server was super sweet and let us know they would just start to pick up around us but we were welcome to stay longer if we wanted to, since there was no one coming in behind us. We continued relaxing until we were all ready to go but first we got to chatting with another staff member, Bryan, who was super rad and shared all his favorite nearby spots to eat. The staff is really so wonderful here! Very friendly and professional. Overall my first visit to the Park Hyatt Aviara was very enjoyable, and I would absolutely visit again (preferably on a hot, sunny day). Highly recommend for any and all poolside celebrations!

When we got to the front desk to check in, we had to wait while staff checked in another guest, which was understandable. However, after waiting patiently, multiple guests who arrived after us were helped before we were. Even a family who walked in later was taken ahead of us, which was frustrating and set a negative tone right from the start. I asked about upgrading to an ocean view room and was offered a room for an additional $100 that barely had a view at all. On top of that, I had booked a room with two queen beds, and they tried to offer a one-king bed room instead, which didn't make sense for a family stay. Once we got to the room, the beds did not appear to be true queen size and the room had a strong unpleasant odor. The air conditioning did not cool properly, and some areas of the room did not seem clean. We tried to make the best of the evening since we were only staying one night. Later in the evening, after I had taken a shower and was simply walking around the room while my family watched TV, we received a noise complaint and someone knocked on our door. We were not being loud at all -- just normal movement in the room. It was surprising and honestly upsetting to be approached about noise when we were simply settling in for the night. It made the stay uncomfortable and took away from what was supposed to be a relaxing beach getaway. Overall, the cleanliness, room conditions, and customer service need improvement. The property has a great location, but our experience did not match the expectations.

It's also directly across the street from the prettiest beach. Sadly my trip was a turnaround, but I was excited to catch a glimpse of the ocean from my hotel room the next morning. We needed a convenient spot near(ish) to Escondido for one night within the Hilton family of hotels…read moreand chose this Homewood Suites location over other brand hotels as we were traveling with our son and wanted to be able to have separate rooms. It's an all suites hotel so it served that need. The room itself on appearance was very nice, perhaps recently refurbished and felt clean and modern. We had a couple experiences which made it a little weird though. The rooms have motion detecting lights that you can only sort of control. The shower for example...the light turns off when you're in the shower as it doesn't sense your motion and there's no way (obvious to us) to force it to stay on. That was a bummer for the 2 of us who wanted to shower but had to do so in the dark unless we opened the shower door and waved our arm around to hopefully catch the attention of the sensor to give us another 30 seconds of light. This also happens if you're sitting on the toilet. The last thing I want to think about in that situation is having to provide additional motion so the light doesn't turn out. In the living space, a light also automatically turns on when it senses motion. Not great for having our son trying to sleep in that room and us having to move through it to leave the room or access the kitchen to have all the lights suddenly turn on around our sleeping boy. Also had a disappointing non-fitness room experience. The fitness room was no accessible because of renovations...okay bad luck in terms of timing...but they said I could go to the adjacent Hampton Inn and use their fitness room which was open 24 hours. So I did, but, unfortunately their fitness room actually isn't open 24 hours as I learned when I got there. So no fitness room and wasted time walking in the rain to the hotel next door based in the inaccurate info given by the staff. So overall disappointing and strange (especially the lights situation)...seems like they forget to dot a few Is when setting these rooms up.

I have a lower floor overlooking the pool and love to see everyone enjoying the amenities. Parking is expensive, though, at $15.00 per night. THAT is a bummer with so much parking available. Their hotel next door does not charge for parking. They have a nice breakfast and a Wednesday Happy Hour, too. Bonus is the full kitchen. I have a suite with a separate bedroom, which is great! Housekeeping is great too! Keep this hotel in mind.

Staff is always so very friendly and I appreciate the efforts Home2 Suites made to make my little monster feel special being that she was celebrating her born day. Extra hugs and thank yous to our host, Natalie. My daughter was over the moon + full of giggles when we arrived back to our room to find a new cuddly little friend fully equipped with the tv remote control, enjoying some cartoons. These are the little tidbits that make for such magical memories!!! As if the wonderful staff and clean rooms aren't enough, let me remind you that there is complimentary breakfast each and every day. You will happily fill your bellies with the typical breakfast spread: sausage, bacon, toast, bagels, fruit, and eggs. 5/5 Stars!! But we already expected that, right??! =D

Room itself looked clean and newer, and I like that the layout is bigger than a normal hotel room. Having the small kitchen with fridge, microwave, and sink makes it really convenient when traveling with kids. Bed was comfortable and the room felt modern overall. Breakfast is included which is nice, but the food itself was about a 1-2 out of 5. Selection looked okay -- eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles -- but quality wasn't great and the waffle area was messy when we went. Still free, so it helps for families. Honestly I booked this mostly for value. Legoland Hotel was around $600-$800 for the night, and this stay was $262 on a Saturday with AAA discount, so big price difference. For families this makes a lot more sense. If I put myself as a kid, this place would actually be pretty cool -- pool, free breakfast, big room, waffle maker, space to move around. That's why I was leaning 4 stars at first. But had to drop it to 3 out of 5 because the toilet in the room was leaking, which you don't expect at this price and at a newer hotel. Little things like that matter, especially with family staying in the room. Overall 3 out of 5. Good value, family friendly, but needs better maintenance. Would still consider staying again for the price.

Ayres Hotel Vista Carlsbad exceeded all of my expectations, and it was a pleasure to stay here. We got a double queen room, and the beds were very comfortable. The room itself is your standard mid-range hotel room, but everything was clean, the shower water pressure was decent, there were plenty of device charging plugs, there's a mini fridge in the cabinet, and the bathroom sink is separate from the toilet and shower area. I don't particularly like this restroom setup, but what are you gonna do? The free breakfast is great. They have a made-to-order omelette station, with an actual person behind a counter taking orders and making your food. They also have a self-serve waffle-making station, oatmeal cups, yogurt, cereal, and a mango-infused water (fancy!). The only thing is that the coffee they offered in the dining room was trash. What you want to do is go visit the Keurig coffee maker by the front desk, which is available to guests all day. Make yourself a cup of coffee from there, and thank me later. There is indoor seating, but do yourself a favor and go out to the patio and enjoy your breakfast outdoors in the perfect Carlsbad morning air. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day, which is a relief and as it should be. There is also a laundry room, with super fast washers and dryers. Ayres Hotel is set up in the hills a bit, so there isn't anything nearby to walk to. But if you're in a pinch and need something for dinner, they make wood-fired pizzas in-house and have happy hour specials.

I specify in-person because calling them on the phone to confirm details was terrible. AI agent phone screen and then when a real person picked up, he seemed to have zero answers about the property and the amenities. In-person though, the service was fantastic. Friendly staff and guest services showing up at lightning speed left me speechless. Called down for extra slippers, and guest services showed up within 5 minutes. Asked for water as well and he returned within 2 minutes. Swear the staff must be sprinting or something. The rooms are great. We got a lagoon view, which while not as beautiful as an ocean view, was quite nice. We had a view of the freeway and a parking lot, but in the not-so-far distance, there was a nice view of the lagoon. The room. patio, and shower are all massive. Even at 100% capacity and a wedding happening during our stay, we never felt like it was too crowded. No loud noises throughout the night either.

Although it…read moresits close to the main road, the hotel feels quietly tucked into the edge of the ocean--a low, four-story retreat that opens itself to the sea. What I loved most was the room, especially the shower. It had a thoughtfully designed, thick glass door that opened easily. In most hotels, I hesitate before turning on the water, bracing for that sudden burst of heat overhead. But here, everything was arranged with care, so I could step in comfortably and enjoy the shower without that small anxiety. The details in the room made it even better--a Nespresso machine ready for a slow morning, and a proper water kettle, which always feels like a small luxury. The bed was soft and welcoming, the kind you sink into at the end of a long day. We didn't have an ocean view, but the patio had its own charm--quiet, intimate, and enough to make you pause. The best part, though, was the beach. Just a short walk down the stairs, and your feet meet the sand. The shoreline isn't wide, but it stretches beautifully along the coast. I found myself walking there in the mornings and again in the evenings, letting the rhythm of the waves mark the day. That simple routine--down the stairs, onto the sand--became the most memorable part of the stay.
