I went in for 1,000 miles inspection and was quoted $5K in recommendations such as oil pump reseal for $2,425.80! I Took my car to Pep Boys they detected no oil leak stated I had no need for a reseal. Spoke to Acura dealer, he stated those are recommendations, although the agent handling the issue warned me if I didn't reseal it, I would eventually damage the engine. Again, it turns out this recommendation wasn't needed! I will seriously rethink long and hard before I take it to this Acura dealer. read more

This dealership is just unbelievable!! Let's start with the purchase. I am a woman purchasing a car waited on by men. Negotiations were just awful. I paid cash, no financing. At one point I asked about a cashiers check or personal check and was asked to show my bank balance (WHAT!). The day I had my trade in evaluated, I was asked by a salesman to see my hair....I was baffled and asked why. He said he heard I'd gotten my hair done before I arrived. Then when they discussed the value of my trade in, they said my tires were worn. I then presented a receipt that showed the tires were purchased the month before. I drive 12 minutes to work 3 times a week. I usually dont drive on the weekends. My trade in had low mileage. I was asked at one point why I was mean. I then presented them with my text messages from 7/2018 when I purchased from them previously that showed they reneged on my first car deal. My RDX never needed a repair for the 7 years I owned it. Hence my decision to purchase another RDX. Unfortunately from this same dealership, that clearly dismisses women. Let's now discuss my next contact, post purchase. Within one month I noticed an odd brake noise. I scheduled an appointment (of course under warranty, or so I thought). They assessed my car and informed me a stone had gotten into the rear brake and for $200+ they could fix it. I was stunned. I reminded them the car was under warranty, maybe somewhat hostile. Anyway I told them I would have it checked by my regular mechanic. While waiting to get my car I quickly googled rdx brakes. Turns out that due to the large wheel welll stones in the brakes are a known issue. Before I got my car I was approached by the manager of auto repairs. The first thing he told me was that he had 10 more customers coming in for the same issue (What a cash cow). He told me he was going to do me a favor and have the stone removed and not charge. He also told me I reminded him of his mother. I did mention my research about the issue with RDX brakes (beware). As I picked up my keys the person at the desk mentioned if this issue happened again to simply squirt with a hose or take it to a car wash. Unbelievable. Im supposed to get my first oil change for free but I just feel like nothings gonna be free. I am just exasperated. Parts of this felt very sexist and the other part felt underhanded. I have questions about the car but Im not sure i would get a truthful answer. It makes me nervous to drive the car. 1 star bc you have to give at least one to get review published. My first review in 2018 was not any better than this one. I do feel terrible but nothing changed since my first interaction with this dealership. By the way 2 weeks later I bought a 2nd car from Faulkner Subaru. Again all men but 100% better service and treatment. Although I did sense they were not used to dealing with a woman either. They just kept asking about my spouse. I told them I am the one buying the car therefore I would be the one negotiating. Eventually Faulkner agreed to drive the car to my house. My spouse loves the car, as I knew he would, 2025 Subaru Outback. read more

when i see that other customers have given this dealership a rating of less than 3 i'm kinda embarrassed for honda. i've been a life long honda/acura owner. over the years i have driven mdx, tlx, accord, pilot. i bought a brand new acura tlx fwd v6 back in 2016 and i have babied the car all these years, garage kept, no accidents, well maintained. it only has 61k mileage and the transmission (9 speed automatic) started slipping at the lower gears. i was devasted when the dealership said they can get me a used transmission for 11k. ya acura lost me as a customer. i have a 2022 pilot that has the same 9 speed transmission which i'm worried will have the same problem. i sold my tlx to carvana for what i can get and bought a lexus es350 from manhattan lexus dealership. i'm the kind of person when i buy a car i want to keep it for life. honda v6 engine/transmission should run over 300k, and there's no excuse for it to fail at 61k. i'm still bummed out that i had to sell my wife's tlx. this was such bad timing as i didn't have the money for a new car. read more

I was able to get an appointment the next morning after my initial call! That was impressive and they ordered the part and gave me rental car for my next visit while the work was being completed. Another reasonable shopping experience at Acura. I made an inquiry on their website through the Costco program and Carlos got in touch with me to set up an appointment. We arrived a few minutes early, so as he was finishing up with another customer, we looked at the MDX in the showroom. We got started within a few minutes of our appointment time and he quickly pulled an MDX up to the door for us to test drive. We still had a few other cars to test drive and told him we'd be in touch. Carlos did follow up a few times over the next week to see if we needed anything. Ultimately, Carlos was nice and did a nice job showing us the pros of the Acura, but we felt the MDX wasn't worth the money - it's a decent car but there's a lot of competition in that arena that was a better bang for the buck for us. No hard feelings - just not the right fit for us. I'd definitely recommend Carlos to someone looking to buy an Acura though. read more

My experience with Lehigh Valley Acura has been very bad. They spend hours pressuring you to sign up for a lease deal and when you tell them you want to shop around for better deals they make you feel like you owe them for spending time with you. A used 2014 Mercedes Benz CLA 250 with a questionably cheap asking price had been advertised by this dealer for 3 months. We telephoned from 1 hour and 15 minutes away and spoke to Robin. She said drive right down and connected me with James at the used car lot on 333 State Street. He said drive here and we will have the car out to display for you. We left immediately and after 1 hour of driving with 15 minutes until our arrival, James telephoned the car was sold. Bait and Switch or an unbelievable coincidence? I took my 2011 TSX here on a Saturday morning in March 2013 for the B1 service. I had read good reviews about their service and was visiting a relative in the area so I figured I'd give them a try. The waiting room was nice and they had a Keurig coffee machine with real creamer, fresh bagels, real butter, and cream cheese. The lot wasn't crowded and was easy to pull into. After the service, I inspected my car inside and out and I didn't see scratches or grease spots in the cabin or exterior. Also, the free car wash was great--they must have hand dried it because the car was pretty much spot free. When I had the free car wash at Montgomeryville Acura there were water spots everywhere. Also, the vacuuming here was very good and clean. I also checked under the hood and everything looked in order. I've had my car serviced at Elite Acura and Montgomeryville Acura (I purchased my TSX new from Montgomeryville) and my overall experience at Lehigh Valley Acura surpasses both. I am very particular about where I get my car serviced and I will definitely use LVA for all my scheduled services. A+. read more

My wife and I test drove the TL and the track was short and our sales rep to be honest just had poor hygiene. We could see the flakes of dandruff on his head. A year ago I decided I should buy a new car. I arrived at the Acura dealership and was dismissed by the staff and sales manager, I am guessing as not credible. I then visited a second time and the saleswoman appeared to show me a car without intention of showing me anything more, again dismissive, as if the cars should sell themselves. I received a call from someone I know, well, who told me that the car including the color, model and year was at this dealership. I immediately drove to the dealership and after a brief discussion and test drive agreed to purchase the car. At the time of the discussion I attempted to negotiate the price, the dealer agreed to drop the price by $500.00 making a remark about this being the special discount due to the person that referred me. Then they offered a special financing deal, since the plan was to pay cash, I initially declined but they convinced me to take the financing and papers were signed, committing to the terms of sale and to pick up the car the following Saturday. When I arrived I was met by the sales person who told me that the the financing deal I had agreed to was no longer available and that the car was not ready (it was 3:00PM). Eventually the dealer agreed to lower the price of the car another $1500. I signed the papers and purchased the car ( I went to the bank and then paid for the car). Since that time, my experience of this dealership has further declined. Recently, I had an issue during a torrential rain storm and I attempted to use the "ON STAR" system. The result was dismal. I was stranded for 25 minutes(in flooding rain) before I could get the car drivable. Following this episode, I contacted the dealership and reported my experience. They did not respond in any way. I then contacted the Automotive service department, the next day, and was told it would take two weeks to have my car evaluated/repaired. Hmmm today I took it to a local repair shop it was fixed in 15 minutes for $12. I guess sales is more important than customer satisfaction. read more

Bought a used car from these guys. A 07 VW EOS. Drove it home after the purchase. The next morning ,on my way to work, I get a low coolant warning.I filled it and all was good until about a week later got the same error message. So then I started looking for the leak and found a small amount of anti freeze on the transmission. I take it to my trusted mechanic and he finds that the thermostat housing needs to be replaced. In doing the job he found a couple vacuum hoses were split but forced onto the connectors and on another, glue was used to fix a crack instead of replacing. I thought ,"it's a good thing I purchased that warranty that I was told would cover the engine, transmission,and turbo....It did not cover it. So before I even made the 1st payment I have to shell out $600. What makes me furious is that they had to known of these problems and never fixed them before they sold the car. A person expects repairs from normal wear but I expected my new car would last more than overnight. read more

bought a used 2005 Kia Sportage from Lehigh Vally Acura and 1-1/2 days after I drove it of the lot a check engine light came on for the catalytic converter ( a very expensive repair) I brought it back they cleared the code and 5 minutes later sent me on my way saying everything was fine.. the light has since come back on more and more frequently and nothing was done about it (just cleared code each time).. on top of that I had to replace the radiator after 1 month.. then the water pump 2 weeks after that.. then all the spark plugs and wires.. (very expensive car so far) but wait it gets worse.. so now I need a new fuel filter and fuel pump (another expensive repair) and on top of that after the check engine light started coming on every week I had them look at it again and now that it has been a year they say I need a new catalytic converter and it will cost me $1200.. didn't need it when I first bought car but need it now that its been a year.. I'm a single father with 2 young kids and needed an affordable dependable car.. the salesman said this car was checked from top to bottom and everything checked out.. then the shop manager just told me it was my fault because I bought a 13 year old car and should have expected to have to make repairs and if I had just bought a brand new car none of this would be happening.. so a car that was recommended to me by these guys all of a sudden is a money pit and I should have known better is what I am told.. never again will I spend a cent at this place.. can't stand a company that does not stand behind a product they sell.. highly recommend Star Auto Mall Stewartsville NJ they bought out this piece of junk that I was sold and got me into a 2017 with 12,000 miles for almost the same payment I was making for the lemon that LV Acura sold me.. very dishonest place stay away from Lehigh Valley Acura.. read more
