I've always had decent experiences here, but started bringing my car to an independent shop for routine maintenance. Many of the things that the dealer had been "warning" me about turned out to be fictitious. I did go back to the dealer, though, last year to have my battery replaced because it is very difficult to otherwise find a compatible battery that is available locally. No problem with that at the time. But a few weeks ago, I went back again because I noticed that there was a steering problem and needed it to get checked immediately (my regular mechanic books out weeks in advance). The found that a rear shock was broken - fine. But they also told me that my battery was reading low and recommended replacing it. I said, sure, go ahead, YOU just replaced it 6 months ago and it should be fully covered under warranty. They immediately backtracked and muttered something about how the test result must have been from the previous visit (clearly a lie - the previous visit, I came because the battery was DEAD, not low). I asked again when picking up the car about the battery test result, and they again brushed it off and changed the topic. Sorry, but I can't trust this dealer any more, and you shouldn't either. read more

Previous vehicle purchased by them: I took my 2 year old vehicle with 22,000 miles on it for a free inspection and they recommend a few thousand in repairs including replacing brake fluid and new tires. Then, after I leave I receive frequent emails offering me $10.000 less for my vehicle than they will sell it for, but someone who didn't read the fine print would think they're getting a good deal because the monthly payments would be lower for a new car (which would also add another 2 years of payments). Then, I look for a new vehicle and get told it's the best time of year to get a great deal and they quote me way over the average selling price for the vehicle. Then, I inadvertently reach out to them again and they say they're gonna give me a deal of a lifetime better than any other dealer and then never give me a price because they don't have that vehicle in stock and are closing my case (though they know I'm in no rush and they can order it.) read more

On top of that, for the second issue they told me I needed to replace another part for $1,200, and the other dealership fixed that second issue for free because it was a recall part! I picked up my car from the used car lot on 10/14., so I thought. I was there for 3 hours. Car would not start. It had a bad battery. Battery and charging systems were checked. I also had concerns on how long the car had been sitting since there was grime on the moonroof, wheels, and the engine bay had cobwebs. I found out that the car had set for extended periods of time and the tires were rotted and the rotors were rusted and were turned to clean them up. upon leaving with the car I was promised a refund of $250 plus paying the uber. Two weeks later after leaving messages with two different managers and the general manager still not a peep at this time. It's a bit frustrating at this time. The dealership is an hour and a half away. It was the only car of it kind within 200 miles. Also the day after getting the car I had to pay an addition $132 to get the alignment and steering done. I would have thought with new tires that would have been done. I am hoping for a satisfactory resolution soon. read more

I purchased my vehicle in 2021 and as soon as I signed on the dotted line my car disappeared off of the lot for three hours. Supposedly so they could remove stickers. When it was returned to me it drove lopsided. They bugged my car and have been listening to my conversations and tracking me since 2021. My car battery kept mysteriously dying, theres constant static on my radio as well as my air conditioning and heat seems to not work properly. I would not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from these people. Unless you don't mind being stalked, tracked and listened to by no life having sick perverts. Not only that I found their mechanic tampering with my brakes when I went in for an alignment. Do not trust them,the redhead, the Italian lady or any of them there they are all part of the mob. Even though I had a confirmed appointment, it took 2.5 hours to do what was basically an oil change. I forgot to tell them I needed new windshield wipers. One was very bad (shredded pieces were obvious); the other one was a little better, but obviously needed replacement. The "Multipoint Inspection" deemed them satisfactory, making me question the overall thoroughness of the inspection. Alex, my service advisor, was great!! Women Beware: My wife came into this dealership about a month and a half ago for an oil change. She was given the normal list of high price items that were "needed". Usually, I brush off the attempts of their salesmen with wrenches to sell us unnecessary parts or repairs, and move on. This time their mechanic was overly insistent and outright tried to swindle us. She was told she "needs new tires because yours are bald". When she asked if she could wait and come back in 2 weeks before the end of the month when inspection was due she was told "I wouldn't and there is no way they will pass inspection". She came home and I had her take her car to a reputable shop that I've been asking her to switch to for about 7 years. She agreed and our bald tires were measured at 6/32" by the shop owner. I also checked the tread depth with my depth indicator and took the picture that is attached. Our tires are 6/32" even now when it's a month later. Pennsylvania State minimum for inspection is 2/32" and the tires came with 11/32" of tread when they were new. This is not the first time your employees have tried to pressure her into unnecessary repairs, but thankfully this is the last time. My wife has finally agreed to stop wasting our money at your dealership. I have tried for years to have her switch and now your mechanic's greed has pushed her in the right direction. I hope this helps someone else and saves other women from your predatory sales tactics. read more

Free inspection is great until they want to change every fluid in your car for 600 bucks This place, like most dealers, is crazy expensive. They always talk up orig parts to justify the exoense...bs. If I could give a 0 or negative star review, my experience with this dealership would merit it... went here looking to buy a Honda Fit EX and to trade my Fiat Abarth. Knowing there was a bit of inequity in the car, I figured that we might not get it done but, with the 1.9% AHFC offer that was going, it was worth a shot. Finance negotiations were painful from the start with being MASSIVELY lowballed on the trade to the tune of around $4K. With some pushback, they were then willing to come up to where I needed them to be ($9K). This left me with around $4K of inequity which would put me right around $23K to finance... cool. If I got bought at 1.9% for 72, I'd be happily in a Fit with a great payment. Unfortunately, the wonderful honest finance managers at this stellar dealership submitted paperwork asking for $29K in financing... Hmmm. No wonder banks were scoffing at the deal. I was never told that the dealership did this, by the way. I found out from a rejection letter sent by my current lien holder (maybe they should have not shopped a lie to my current financial institution). What I was told was this: we got you financed but only if you buy an extended warranty and gap insurance. Ok... easy enough reply: "send me that from the bank in writing." Of course that can't happen because no bank would ever make that sort of conditional offer. Next came more lies and denial from both the sales staff (Samantha) and the finance manager (Anthony) when I called them out for trying to deceive me into buying high margin finance products from the dealership. The long and short of it: if you want sub-par service and engagement topped off with deceptive business practices and high prices, Lehigh Valley Honda is a fantastic choice. When I said no then it was a 179$ package. mind they said a two hour wait for oil change. But they could get my car in for either of other services which included an oil change. Brought me car in for a recall the staff were courtesy and professional; however I received a call, as well as a written report, that an unauthorized multipoint inspection revealed that "serpentine belt (found belt excessively damaged/cracked) should be immediately replaced and was told it should be immediately replaced and was a hazard to even drive home. I was quoted a price of $206.36 to replace. I requested they put they return the belt and I would make an appointment with my mechanic. I drove home and parked the car until my appointment with my mechanic who indicated that there was NOTHING wrong with the belt absolutely NO damage NO cracks NOTHING; however as I have over 100,000 miles on my car we replaced it anyway at a cost of $95.00 less than half the quoted price. Sales manager and finance people were also pleasant to work with. The service department is also very accommodating, helpful and efficient. Oh, Honda, how I may not miss you very much. I bought my Honda CR-V here back in 2008. Had a great sales experience but a pretty lousy service experience. Starting from that first week or two of ownership where there were issues that they said "were in my head," (which they weren't - they finally figured them out after I made 2 or 3 trips in) to the time that they broke my oil pan and tried to blame it on the weather (I'm not a mechanic but I'm not stupid), I was never very happy with the service on my vehicle. After I worked my way through most of the service credits I was given for the lousy service they had provided, I moved most of my repairs and standard maintenance to independent shops. The few times I wanted to bring it in for service, I found that they had significantly reduced their loaner access, which was half of the convenience of using them and paying a bit more. I took to either servicing on a Saturday or just taking it elsewhere and using part of the savings to rent a vehicle for the day. Fast forward to 2018, when my CR-V has become not the best fit for my family (feisty toddler + grumpy dog in one seat = no bueno) and had over 200k miles on it, I did return to LV Honda to look at a Pilot. While I generally liked the look & feel of the vehicle, we weren't thrilled with the transmission and decided we'd wait a few weeks until the 2019s came on the lot. The sales person, Josh, gave me a quote that actually wasn't half bad for a 2018 and we went on our way. About a week later, I get a call from their internet sales team saying that they were doing their inventory clearance and they could offer me a much better deal that I had received previously. I gave them a stock # I liked and they promised me a call back same day. Never got it. Called in the next day to see what was up & was told someone would call me back with a price. That call back was more of a plea to return and I got forceful on receiving this improved price. Got a price a few hours later by email and it was WORSE than the price I got in the dealership. That kind of sealed the deal on the fact that these people do not know how to treat people. Ended up buying a Volvo but returned to this dealership to get a cash offer through KBB. Was told to actually go to the Hyundai side and ask for a certain person before 6 PM that day. Who was not actually in the office. Being grouchy finally got another manager over who appraised my car and asked what I was buying. He then of course offered me $2k more than he initially said if I wanted to buy a Pilot. I told him I'd think about it and he got my info & that of the salesperson who helped me at Honda. Never heard back. Bought a Volvo and just traded it in there since I was able to get the same as my cash deal at LV Honda. So here ends my Honda saga, at least for now. And it's too bad. My CR-V was a good car that served me generally well. This dealership does themselves no favors though. read more

At a time when other dealers were pursuing additional markups in the thousands of dollars, Lehigh Valley treated me very fairly. Not only did they conform to MSRP, but also they threw in some of the smaller things like wheel locks that other dealers used to gouge additional dollars from consumers. Michael Houser of Lehigh Valley went out of his way to get me into and out of the dealership for the purchase quickly, making my 10 hour long day of driving and buying much better.
