Partially mumbling about the show and partially mumbling about the venue/experience.) A few things worth noting: I had been here once prior for a seated show but never for a GA one. I'm not really an Everclear fan. Nothing wrong with the music, it just never caught my ear. My daughter is a huge fan so this was totally for her. Part of the GA issue was a non-issue as I forked out for the meet & great package so we were guaranteed to be on the rail as close as you could be. Everything in the email from the 3rd party company that handles the meet & greet stuff was all spot on: Show up at time X. Buy merch if you want before you are let in. You are let in at time X. You are given bag of swag. Band plays a single acoustic song. You line up the 1st time and the band will sign whatever and briefly talk to you about whatever you want. Art loved that I wasn't bringing the kid and that it was more that the kid brought me. You line up the 2nd time for pix with the blast furnaces in the background. This was well all executed. At time Y, the rest of crowd is let in and then you wait an hour until it's time to start except it wasn't really time to start as there was an opening act that no one seemed to know about. The show was the show. When you're that close, the sound is hard to judge. To me, it's all a sludgy mess musically although Art's vocals were, all things considered, excellent. At the end of the show the band came down to the rail and they were talking/selfie taking with everyone there. Art was beyond generous and gave my kid his setlist and a pick. Overall this was good. The staff got everyone in and out easily. Parking was a non-issue as we got there early and parked strategically to get out quickly. Art and the guys are pros-pros who know what they are doing. Another show here? Yep. Why not.

A great venue for a show…read more The seats have a reasonable amount of space. The view of the old steel foundry is memorable, particularly at night. There is a large parking area nearby. There is a $10 minimum per person. The food is adequate and the service is attentive. The pierogis are baked, but the onions served with them are good.

I need one day for the North Side and one day for the South Side. It's great! The volunteers are always willing to help as are the paid staff. I love the merch. They have a row of games from this series, including my favorite, Ms. Pac-Man. Also, a couple of Mortal Kombats, Q-Bert, NBA Jam, an air hockey table, a basketball game, a Skee-Ball, and hybrid basketball-Skee-Ball game. And the condition of the games is excellent; the owner and employees routinely wipe everything down. You don't feel like you're placing your hands on surface that's already been touched by a hundred others before the last cleaning. If you're an arcade fan, a pinball fan, or just looking to kill a few hours with twenty bucks, you must visit.

When we complained to the manager he could care less and refused to refund us . We even explained that we traveled over two hrs to get there and his answer was you should have came at 6:30 when we opened. When I said that's crazy you don't even appreciate our time or money he said we could spend more money to upgrade to VIP so we don't have to wait any longer in line . I said that's extortion and he said that's what everyone does. I told him he was getting a bad review and he said go ahead .

Updated---Customer service at the event service is terrible, Marianne doesn't even listens to your concerns and doesn't go back in her words, as your speaking to her on the phone, she hangs up without a good bye. Terrible management skills. They had 5 stars due to shows we have attended, but now down to 2 stars due to there customer service. Who ever does there hiring must understand that there are not the only entrainment place in PA, and there management needs a communication class if they are dealing with customers.

The security staff is always friendly and will actually point you to your seats unlike some other casinos. The bar before the show and club after has a great staff and they are quick and efficient when making drinks. I am pretty obsessive when it comes to visiting a venue like this for the first time. And it was…read morealmost impossible to find good reviews so I thought I would share in case it helps somebody else. As far as parking, I had a lot of people helping me by telling me that street parking wasn't really hard to find, you just have to get there at a reasonable time if you want to be closer. We actually arrived later than I wanted to, maybe 20 minutes before the event and we still were pretty close. I kept reading about a giant hill that you had to walk up to get to the seats and I didn't understand until I got there. So if you park on a street near the "bottom" entrance of the stadium, when you enter, you climb a steep paved path to get to the higher rows of bleachers. If you're sitting in the first 15 bleachers starting from the field, though, you can simply just walk around the track from where you enter and walk up the steps. If you park in street parking that's at the "top" of the stadium (we chose to park on West Chew St between 22nd-20th) then when you enter and show your tickets, you're in a good position to walk down to the higher bleachers. I am the idiot who parked near the top of the stadium and had to walk 21 rows down (with a knee problem and no rail to hold onto) to our Section E, 9th row seats. The bathrooms are not as bad as I had read, they're near the top and bottom entrances and I didn't find them particularly difficult to get to either from the top of the stadium, or walking along the bottom of the track. We were there for the DCI event and there were also lots of portable bathrooms that were easy to use. I brought a stadium seat that had armrests on it and didn't have any problem using it, but I can see that if you are in a section that is completely packed out and you are in the middle of that section, it might get dicey because it's so crowded. I was on the aisle, and my son was sitting next to me so it was fine. I saw some other people using the same kind of chairs without problems, but again they were not in sections that were completely packed with people. But I will say that, even though our entire section was not packed out, there was a point at which there were people in front of me and behind me plus my son sitting next to me and I was still able to easily use the chair. I was told beforehand that those chairs were not allowed in the stadium, but when I got there, nobody was saying anything to anyone who had them. And speaking of sections, I think next time I will still choose seats in E (or K). They're right next to the premium center sections, but still close enough to center to be well placed and not nearly as crowded. However, I will pick higher row of bleachers (between 20-25) to get an even better view. Although where we sat was perfectly fine as well, and maybe the sound was better? All in all, we had a very positive experience , and look forward to returning.
