After experiencing two very stressful newborn photo shoots for my son with two different…read morephotographers, I was incredibly nervous to book another photography session for his six month photos. However, after finding Steph on Instagram through hashtags, I reached out to inquire about a six month photo shoot a month and a half to two months prior to him turning six months old. Steph made this experience from start to finish easy and incredibly awesome. She answered my initial email within hours. I love a prompt, responsive business owner. We were able to setup and get a date on the books within a couple of emails. The week before, I realized that our late afternoon session could go incredibly wrong because my son gets a little more fussy in the afternoons. I emailed and asked Steph if we could do a mid-morning shoot instead, and she obliged. Steph encouraged me to get a few shots with my son. I was incredibly hesitant because a) I generally hate how I look in photos and b) I'm still incredibly self-conscious with my body post-baby. The night before the shoot I was feeling like I should avoid photos of myself, but I took a dress with me just in case. On the day of the shoot, Steph was prompt, professional, and FUN. My son smiled around her, she was able to make him smile, she had cute outfits picked out, and most importantly she got me to take some photos with my son. Steph spent nearly two hours with us, and honestly, the shoot just flew by. I got sneak peek photos by the end of the day. Prior to booking I requested to have my photos before my son turned six months, and Step met that deadline with flying colors. Our wedding was at Murrieta's Well and Lori was one of several preferred photographers. I contacted her and a few others, but I was truly impressed with her photographs. She got back to me right away! And she was very upfront about pricing. She suggested we meet at her studio in Alamo. The moment I met her in person and saw her portfolio, I knew she had to be our photographer. She is so warm, and such a romantic! You can tell her passion for her job. She has tons of experience and it shows!! We met with her one other time before the big day to plan the shots we wanted. She was always quick to reply to my many emails. Once the wedding was here she and her 2nd photographer were on time and on task. They captured over 700 amazing pictures from the day. They took so many shots but were very unobtrusive. They did a great job capturing what is the best day of our lives! She also created an album for us, and it is phenomenal! A great variety of shots in color, black and white and sepia. Her style felt fresh and unconventional -- more documentary and journalistic than traditional -- and I especially loved her use of black and white photography, which was a big reason we chose her. The day started at our hotel, where she jumped between our separate rooms to capture my wife and me getting ready. Before she had even gotten to our rooms, she had already scouted the perfect location for our first look. The moment was absolutely incredible, and she handled everything; we didn't have to do a thing but follow her lead. That professional confidence continued at City Hall. She has a masterful familiarity with the building. She took full control of the shoot, guiding us as she told us exactly where to stand, how to pose, and where to move next so we could just relax and enjoy the moment. As a photographer myself, I really appreciated her confidence and professionalism. All we had to do was follow instructions and be present. She knows San Francisco City Hall inside and out -- the lighting, the angles, the timing, and the key locations that truly matter -- every shot felt deliberate and it showed. The technical skill here is top-notch-- the compositions were beautiful, the balance of each frame was spot-on, and her gorgeous color grading. We received around 300 images, and the quality is so consistent that I plan to print every last one of them in large format to ensure we have a permanent physical archive. When we received the final package, we were so touched -- she sent our photos on a beautiful USB drive along with printed images, some sweets, and other thoughtful details. I was looking for a photographer in the Brentwood area as a graduation gift for my niece. She was…read moregraduating high school, and I wanted to make this moment extra special for her. I came across Kree's Yelp page because of how close she was, but what really stood out was her website--the caliber and vibrancy of her photos were incredible. I knew right away she'd be a perfect fit for capturing my niece, both in her cap and gown and in her super colorful prom dress (which I was confident Kree could do justice!). From the moment I reached out, Kree was super responsive and easy to communicate with. The contract was simple and straightforward, pricing was fair and the breakdown of her packages were awesome. and she helped us agree on a time and location that worked perfectly, not far from our house either, which was a huge plus.
