The laundromat is owned by a family- I primarily see the son, but at times, his father is also present, which has always left me with an icky feeling. His father STARES at patrons so intently, it makes you feel very uncomfortable. He polices you as you do you laundry and keeps the bathroom locked. You have to ask for permission to access the bathroom to wash your hands in between loads. Tonight, I entered just before 7 pm and there was another young woman attempting to do laundry. I say attempting because the washer machines she was using read "Error. No Sink Fill". She told the older man about this four times and he did nothing to resolve the issue. After her telling him multiple times, he called his son who came downstairs and moved her loads to other machines that I was about to fill. Due to the delay in getting a washer, my clothes were still drying at 8:50 pm since I had to wait for her to finish using the smaller washer machines. Shortly thereafter, the older man went to the breaker panel and turned all of them off stopping my clothes from drying. He then proceeded to turn off all the lights and told me to get out. I informed him that I could not pack my clothes in the dark and needed light to pack my still damp clothing. He STILL REFUSED and I proceeded to call 911 because I was standing in the dark with a very odd old man. The officers (one male and one female officer) arrived and the laundromat was still dark. I explained the situation to the police and he was still belligerent. After packing my clothing, the police and I attempted to leave the laundromat and he stood in front of the door. They had to yell at him to move out of our way so we could exit. This entire situation was completely avoidable and unfortunate as I'm choosing to share this disgusting story. They need to repair their machines, and better yet, STAY OUT OF NEIGHBORHOODS where you clearly don't trust your clientele. At the height of the pandemic when many were withdrawing their support of Asian-owned businesses in Boston due to a false and perceived connection with the COVID-19 infection, my household and I still continued to do laundry there while others sought out other laundromats. The treatment I experienced tonight makes me deeply frustrated and sad. I will be withdrawing my support from this business and letting other know. I am owed a refund, but most importantly, an apology.

Some machines give you the ability to pay with your credit card but the dryers are solely coin operated. There is a machine to exchange cash for quarters. Pricing is pretty standard. I only spent $17 for 3 loads of laundry that included my comforter, 3 sets of sheets, bath towels (6), and 1 large bin of clothing. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I got there 30 minutes after opening and there was only 1 other person in there.

The prices were very reasonable and the quality was amazing. I brought in about 6 sweaters of various fabrics (wool, cashmere, angora) and after the dry cleaning they looked like they were new again! I was really amazed. No dry cleaner I had ever gone to has made my clothes look as clean and new looking. They were also very friendly and accommodating. When I went to collect my things their credit card machine wasn't working and all I had was a card. They directed me to the ATM in the store next door and because it was a generic ATM I had to pay a $2 fee. I was a bit irritated by this but what could I do, I had to pay to get my clothes. I needn't have worried. The deducted the $2 off my bill for the inconvenience. I am never going anywhere else but here as long as I am in Boston!

She is kind, attentive and thoughtful....also incredibly clever at stain removal even for what I consider difficult stains. Last winter, I'd brought in a cherished sweater with a moth hole, only to see the hole become invisible on return, to my amazement. She had not promised magic, in fact was cautious when she saw the hole, but she worked hard to create magic. I have been extremely pleased and relieved to have someone as reliable as Lee's in the neighborhood. And even if it weren't in the neighborhood, I'd probably make the effort to go there - over the advertised and promoted cleaners all around.

Well, the sewing job was done well, however, she refuses to cut off as much as I wanted. She only cut off about two inches and then turned it up and hemmed it. I'm going to need to take it to someone else to redo it now. She is so ridiculously obstinate and controlling that she is unreliable like that. I told her that I had other dresses from Temu that I also want to have fixed. Unfortunately, even though she sews very well I'm not going to be able to give her return business.

Found this laundromat on Yelp! So glad we did, because not only is it newly remodeled with new…read moremachines, but the staff are so cheery and helpful. There's also a cute little coffee/tea bar set up along with some chairs. Major plus: there's a small parking lot on the side for laundromat customers! We really needed to wash our sweaty clothes that we lugged from DC to Boston and we were able to get 2 loads done quickly. Vending machine has a lot of soap and softener choices. Most of the machines accept cards for payment and it's only $1 for 20 mins of dryer time. We were in and out in about an hour and continued on with our vacation. Flour bakery is a few blocks away if you're hungry. Highly recommend this laundromat.
