So, this was a random pic from this morning. I met my parents for coffee. They said, "Find a café," so I went to look for one. I found this cute little place, Leila Bakery, and I'm glad we stopped by. When you walk in, you're greeted with a cozy, welcoming vibe of a small café. There's a nice big community table in the middle, and when you go up to the front, you're greeted with a display of baked goods and everything. I had a chocolate croissant, which was delicious--really buttery, flaky, and good. My mom had a pecan something that was very gooey and delicious. We all had coffee--lattes, in particular. My mom and dad had lattes with oat milk, and I had a vanilla latte, which was spot on. Everything about this coffee shop was just amazing. The staff had great energy; I loved the vibe. It's nestled on a side street, so be careful--you might miss it. But if you're in the mood for a small, quiet café and bakery, and somewhere to do some work, this is your place.

Best quiche I've ever had. Immaculate vibes. Charming atmosphere and excellent service. Great background music. I feel happy here. Check out the cute art place AR Workshop and the plant nursery (Redenta's) next door!

They have a wide variety of pastries to choose from. I went in because I wanted to try their sweet lavender scone and ended up leaving with other items! I would definitely recommend trying the sweet lavender and lemon poppyseed scones if you ever stop in. They also have these fun spooky themed sugar cookies that have a delicious buttercream icing on them. I took home a pumpkin one and will be back to get more!

Today was my first visit and this spot is so cute! It smells amazing and everything looks so good. The bread and quiches look . Highly recommend. I love their chocolate almond croissant. Today i got the lemon sandwich cookie and an iced chai. So yummy!

a cute cozy tiny bakery with sooo many different pasties, kolache and quiches. they have several different unique flavors that make it hard to choose one. i personally recommend the sausage cheese and candied jalapeño kolache as it fluffy, cheesy and the candied jalapeño added a nice yummy touch. my friends were slightly disappointed with the quiche as they thought it was a little on the bland side. the service is very friendly. prices are a little on the pricey side which is typical for a bakery.

I am so in love with this place. All homemade breakfast items and all the pastries and desserts you can dream about. I'm glad this place is on way home from White Rock Lake so that means I got a workout in before inhaling the carbs (usually). It's an order at the counter place. You will have time to stare at all the delicious treats before making your order. There's not a lot of seating inside but I hand never seen anyone waiting to sit. The big table in the middle of the room Is communal. I always order my stuff to go. Yummy coffee, pastries, quiches, salads to go (the have a cooler with grab and go items). What more could you ask for?!

I've visited Leila's bakery a few times before. The bakery itself is the cutest little place you'll ever see and not once has the service, food, or coffee let me down. However, my experience today has really blown my expectations out of this world!! My sister and I are very indecisive people when it comes to ordering anything. Not only were the baristas more than patient, but they also happily answered any questions that I had! They were also extremely friendly and personable! 11/10 recommend

I have been wanting to checkout this little cafe for the longest time. So happy to finally get to stop by. Cutest cafe and bakery ever! I got my chai latte with almond milk. The flavor of the chai could have been a lot stronger! So many wonderful baked goods, what caught my eye was this morning glory bread. Wow, it's got a little bit of everything (raisins, carrot, etc). It was hearty, soft, slightly sweet, and lots of different textures, the perfect loaf IMO. I hope to have my laptop next time and sit for a bit next time as it feels like it would have a great vibe for working. Then I can try another pastry :)

REALLY cool vibe bakery/restaurant at Skillman and Oram. If you are looking for it, look behind the nursery! Friendly helpful staff and yummy baked goods from bread to cookies to muffins to kolaches..

Addicting are Leila's "Lemon Kolaches", delicious lemon jam surrounded by a beautifully baked puffy pastry; and, "Coconut Macaroons", heavenly bites of shredded coconut dipped in chocolate. With their wonderful service and charming storefront, Leila is on my rotation in satisfying my specific cravings amongst all of my favorite freshly daily made and baked, locally owned bakeries in Big D. CHEERS!

This is my FAVORITE spot in Lower Greenville! Their baked goods are the best and coffee is always yummy! The baristas are so friendly and the shop has some seating inside if you want to enjoy your pastries/quiche there. My absolute favorite is the chocolate orange scone - such yummy flavor and perfect texture! The Strawberry muffin is also super yummy (there is a whole strawberry inside and a slice on top), but I would recommend enjoying this one first if you get it to go! I highly recommend checking this spot out!

    Is Kanelbulle available here?

    Is there patio seating?

Hello Diane, we have one charming cafe table and two chairs right next to our beautiful outdoor flower box. So we do have seating for a small group, and love to see people there :) Thanks for your question and we hope to have a chance to serve you!

The first thing I noticed was how beautiful everything is. The décor is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. And yes...those are real trees. That actually matters to me. I love restaurants with a beautiful aesthetic because it makes the whole experience feel special. Good food is wonderful, but good food in a beautiful space? That's even better. The menu is perfect if you're dining with friends because there are so many things to share. We ordered the traditional sampler, and it was such a fun way to try several Guatemalan dishes. Every plate that came out looked fresh, colorful, and made with care. The cheese pupusa was delicious, and the cotija cheese was the perfect finishing touch. Then there were the plantains. I actually stopped our server to ask, "Do y'all make the plantains from scratch?" They do. And it shows. They were fresh, perfectly cooked, and so good that I kept reaching for another one. Honestly, they may have been my favorite thing on the table. The steak was cooked exactly medium, had a great char, and was full of flavor. Portions were generous across the board, which is always a win because leftovers are basically tomorrow's gift to yourself. The spinach artichoke dip surprised me. If you're someone who genuinely loves spinach, you'll probably be very happy because spinach definitely got top billing in that relationship. It tasted incredibly fresh, and it made me realize I apparently prefer my artichokes to be just a little more competitive. The service was warm and welcoming all evening. I ordered a red sangria that never quite found its way to the table, but honestly, by the end of the meal I was so full that my stomach had already voted "maybe next time." One of my favorite parts of the evening was learning more about San Martín's history. Knowing it began in Guatemala and is especially known for its bakery and breakfast immediately put breakfast on my "I need to come back for this" list. By the end of the meal, we were full, happy, and already talking about what we'd order next time. That's usually the sign of a restaurant I'll happily recommend. Beautiful atmosphere. Fresh food. Generous portions. Outstanding plantains. I'd give San Martín a solid 9 out of 10, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

And while we weren't planning to do much, the experience was still a 10/10! I ended up ordering a White Chocolate latte and it was AMAZING! You can tell they actually put time and effort into their coffee and lattes! Everything is also brewed fresh! Which I love! My friend ordered a artesian hot chocolate and wow! It was probably some of the best hot chocolate I have ever had! It was def made with real cocoa! We did end up splurging on some pastries, because DUH! It's it so hard to ignore the bakery section when it is so stunning and filled with beautiful baked goods! I got a oreo croissant and tortuga concha! I did not eat them (My bf did) but they looked so great! I did try my friends banana custard filled bread and that was great! I would go back for it! Overall, we ended up sitting inside of their beautiful space for hours, just talking and catching up! It was amazing and comfy! We def want to return for some of their dinner and drink specials too! Highly recommend!
