Coffee was great and the bagels taste great but they continually refuse to actually toast the bagels even when I request double toasted.

We decided to walk around and check out shops and get some coffee. That is when our son's girlfriend recommended Abby's Bagels as they have some good brew. When you walk in, the bagels smell freshly baked and I decided to try the Jalapeño And Cheese Bagel. Then I ordered the Banana Bread Hot Latte. When placing the order, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Every staff member said hello to my son's girlfriend as she is a frequent customer. The bagel was a good size! It was pretty soft and the cream cheese was plentiful. The cheese was good and you can taste the jalapeño with each bite. They actually have a gluten free / egg free bagel. Unfortunately, their machine was broken and needed repair so we will need to return and try it in the future. The Banana Bread Hot Latte smelled like a loaf of Banana Bread. It tasted like it too! I've found my new favorite latte, need to find a shop that makes it in the Chicago area. read more

To make a long story short, we love Abby's bagels! I just wish I would of ordered a different bagel! If you are from Dallas central you know Abby's is one of the most popular bagel spots in the city! We had started our sunday pretty early, so we figured we would treat ourselves to one of their delicious bagels! The vibe of Abby's is always a hit! It's on Lower Greenville, so there is always something going on! But the star of the show is always their bagels! My boyfriend ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on a everything bagel and oh my! It was so freakin good! As for my bagel, I ordered the Buffalo Chicken bagel. I wasn't disappointed, the bagel was still very good, but it just wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be an actual piece of chicken, but it was sliced chicken, and the taste of buffalo was very faint. Still a great bagel, just not what I was expecting! Nice little neighborhood bagel shop. I came after my workout on a weekend and it was such a great experience. The team in there is so friendly! They let you try their homemade spreads. I was so shocked at all the knowledge of bagels and spreads as someone who isn't a bagel person. It was good. I got the blueberry bagel and the strawberries and cream spread. 10/10. Their coffee wasn't the greatest but the team switched my coffee to their rec which was the banana foster and that was TEW good. Will be back if I'm craving a bagel. We grabbed a bunch for our early Sunday morning event, and they definitely delivered. Good bagels, fresh, and exactly what we needed to kick off the day. Overall I'd say I'd rate Abby's 3/5... solely because the smear was off in my opinion. To start we had the banana bread latte, which was actually so interesting. I am a coffee lover, and not a huge fan of sweet drinks but this was definitely drinkable. My fiance loves sweet drinks and he highly recommends it. The blueberry bagel was actually great quality, and I'd order again, however the plain schmear was the problem. I feel like the plain schmear usually isn't super salty and for some reason, this one was just throwing me off. I almost had like an onion taste to it, which clearly did not go with my blueberry bagel. The service was quick and efficient as I ordered a head on Uber Eats. read more

I feel like a fool for taking so long to come here. Greenville can be a little intimidating for those with social anxiety or accustomed to convenient parking. Pushed down those feelings of anxiety and was lucky enough to find decent parking on yesterday afternoon. Abby's Bagels is right in the heart of the bustling lower greenville area. The inside has a cool funky vibe with the cool orange and green accents around. The menu offers classic stuff but what sets this place apart from other bagel places is the TX Wagyu Pastrami. Wife and I went with Reuben-ish and Wagyu Wake Up. The sandwiches were delicious. Huge portions. The quality and flavor were outstanding from first bite to last bite. This may now be my new favorite bagel shop in Dallas. Swing by and give it a taste. read more

Stumbled into Abby's on a saturday morning, and they were slammed! My sign that the bagels are great. The line moved very quickly with the cashier helping me pick my first time bagel sandwich: sausage egg cheese hashbrowns on a cheddar bagel, with a Summer '14 iced coffee. The coffee was a little sweet for my taste but I still very much enjoyed it. Sandwich was super good, tons of cheese on the cheese bagel, crispy hash brown. and really tangy garlic aioli. will definitely be back! All seating is outdoor and was pretty full so if you're looking to stay and eat, you may have to take a seat on the concrete barriers near by. read more

Fantastic spread selection! The jalapeño, bananas foster, and oreo spreads are quite good. Bagels are also great, service is quick. The chocolate chocolate chip is a must try that I haven't seen anywhere else. Also tried the banana bread cold brew which was surprisingly flavorful for just being cold brew, and the vanilla oat milk frozen coffee and is veeeeery good and pretty sweet. I will say that if you're looking for a breakfast sandwich there are better options. However, if you want a solid bagel with great cream cheese, this is the perfect spot. A wonderful bagel shop in the heart of downtown Greenville. All seating is outside and service is very quick. The person taking my order was ungodly patient with me as I figured out my order and the shop was clean/tidy. I ordered the salt bagel with honey strawberry cream cheese and it was perfectly balanced and delicious. I also had the banana bread cold brew?? Somehow they made this cold brew taste exactly like banana bread but not in a sweet/fake syrupy kind of way (it was mind blowing). I also tried the dallasite with no meat on a gluten free bagel and was pleasantly surprised to find that even though it was gluten free the bagel was soft and had great texture/flavor. I was super impressed with this shop and will definitely be stopping by again soon. read more

This place just opened so please take with a grain of salt. The coffee was quite tasty and was appropriately sized. The bagels leave a bit to be desired for. They are fairly small. The $2 per bagel makes sense for their size, but $3 for cream cheese on the bagel seems a bit overpriced given how little cream cheese is put on. The cream cheese itself wasn't anything special. The bagels themselves are a bit more bready than I prefer. Think more of a Benny's bagel than a boiled NY bagel. Service was great though and folks were very friendly.
